1-they put happy messages on the pizza box
2-The pizza is delicious as is (has thinner crust but I normally don’t eat crust.:.I eat 4/5 of the crust here)
3-it warms up well, sometimes (other places) when you warm leftovers up it’s bleh, but somehow it warms extremely well here.“

Last I was here, I enjoyed a pepperoni pizza, topped with fresh basil and pickled peppers. The peppers had a pleasant kick, and the pie was a solid size[1]. I recommend enjoying your pizza on-site, right away[2].

Seating-wise, there's a shared yard with lots of seating. One of the neighbors is Cork & Screw, where you buy wine by the bottle. You an indoor cat, or need a bathroom? Head to the house next to the Sammataro truck.

Worth a visit.

“I’m someone who loves pizza and a salad. Unfortunately, I cant just pop in by myself to get that little combo bc they only have pricey gigantic salads. Would be great if there was a half size for like $8-10. Then I might come back to grab that and a slice.

Also, last visit I went with my partner and had weird service. Idk if I was gaslit lol. I ordered a salad and sub for myself. My partner ordered two slices of pizza.

My salad and sub came out. Waited literally 30m for the two slices of pizza. So my partner pretty much watched me eat for half an hour. When I inquired about the pizza slices for my partner, the server said “yeah the chefs do that intentionally so you can enjoy the salad and sandwich first”. Who splits a sandwich before sharing a slice of pizza? Clearly they were running way behind and just acknowledgement (maybe an apology) would have been enough. Instead I was annoyed and felt crazy.

Regarding the meatball sub - the bread was super hard like cut the top of your mouth hard. Meatball was super tender but lacked ?herbs.“

However, I came in last night at 9:34pm and, instead of being welcomed, I was immediately greeted with, “We close at 10.” Since they were no longer seating guests, I ordered a pizza to go. While I waited, I went to the bar to order a drink, but I was told I couldn’t get the orange creamsicle because the frozen drink machines had already been shut down for the night.

I understand that closing tasks need to begin before closing time, but it was disappointing to feel rushed and have menu items unavailable while the restaurant was still open. I was not aware that we wouldn’t be able to be seated as the closing time online says 10pm. It definitely took away from what has always been a great experience for me.“

“Came here for my birthday and our server Torin made our whole night. Super attentive, without being overbearing, and he surprised me at the end with a birthday dessert which I was not expecting at all!

Food was incredible—got the vodka pie with pepperoni and stracchiatella, and I'm still thinking about the meatball appetizer. Pizza had a nice char and the crust was crispy on the outside, but fluffy and soft on the inside.
