Respectable quality, even by east-coast meatball standards.

The 1L Mexican Coke in glass bottle was a little shy on fizz. So get a can or fountain cup, both of which are available, and fountain is refillable.“

“We went there and it was awesome! It was 90s-00s themed. They were super quick, it was set up much better than most sub shops because each of the workers had their own station. It made the service much quicker. It was also very cheap, we paid $10 for a sub and a kids meal. It also wasn’t too loud to where we couldn’t have our own conversation. They also had gluten free options for us. By far the best sub chain we’ve been to.“

“I didn’t realize how much I missed Thundercloud until I happened to drive by when I was in Austin and I had to stop in for my all time FAVORITE sandwich shop. I entered the shabby sheik shop and was instantly transported back to LBJ High School and lunchtime with my band friends. A regular chicken salad on white with provolone cheese was my #1 but on this day I settled for TC Club, my #2. Add a bag of baked Lays and you can’t go wrong. Oh and did I mention the staff? “The sandwiches here are phenomenal! I’m a bit of a sandwich snob so for me to say that is saying something. I can truly say that Eddie is the heart of this location. His level of care, customer service, and empathy is on another level. I honestly wish there were more people like him in the service industry. Maybe it’s a good thing there isn’t because when you find a guy like him he truly stands out and makes you look forward to coming back time and time again. If you stop and talk with him a bit he will make you wonder if you’re going back for the sandwiches or just a superior level of customer service just so you can actually feel like the customer again for once. “Enjoyed lunch with my sweetie. I had the Italian which I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife had her standard ham and cheese. Typical sandwich shop seating. A lot of construction in the are but not impossible to navigate. The young lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back for another Italian!“

“I went here for their fried catfish and the owner was kind enough to include a side of sweet potatoes for free. Both were very good.

The catfish had a nicely seasoned and crispy breading and a good portion of food. I didn’t end up using the, included, tartar sauce, because the seasoning alone flavored the fish perfectly.

The sweet potatoes were very sweet and a little cinnamony. It was like a desert, served in a syrup as chunks of soft sweet potato, rather than as a mash. Good alone and paired with the fish.

The location is a hole in the wall window in a gas station. Be prepared to wait in line, but you’ll be glad you waited.

Looks like they’re best known for their chicken and fish, but they have daily specials and I noticed they have other items, like pork chops and meatloaf.

I’m looking forward to coming back for the other items.“

“They were fast and I was very satisfied with my experience. First time in their drive-through, and even though there was a bit of a line I made it through in time without needing to rush to my event haha. I appreciated how nice they were when I forgot some things on the menu.

I want to shout them out for their amazing work ethic and customer service! The store was super busy with a constant flow of customers and online orders, yet they handled everything calmly, professionally, and respectfully the entire time. You could tell they were working hard to keep things moving smoothly. I also appreciated the teamwork with the other staff member helping with prep to make sure nothing ran empty during the rush. It’s not easy managing that kind of pace, but they truly held it down. This is one of the reasons I love coming to this Subway!“
