“We had a wonderful lunch at Meat & Bread while in Austin. We split the grilled cheese. The server suggested adding the meatballs, and so glad we did. We’re also glad we split it. Big sandwich. So tasty. The tomato soup was delicious with homemade croutons. This restaurant is locally owned and operated. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!“

“I happen to be doing some work in South Austin and love a good sandwich so I figured I’d run in and give it a shot. I had never heard of Bella Donna subs before I was blown away by the Philly cheesesteak they make. Probably the best one I’ve ever had.“

“My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. Did not stop me from devouring the deliciousness, though. I will be back if I am in the area again.“

I will say, this sandwich is expensive. I am okay paying for quality, but for the price point they set — I don’t think you get what you pay for. $22 for a full sandwich and $12 for a half, you’re paying a lot.

I don’t think anything needs to change with the product, just the price.“

A solid, good sub shop. A little weird, but totally old school Austin.

Subs are exactly what you'd want and expect. Surprisingly got a smoothie, and it was really good. Consistent food.

A Austin original, everybody that works here is warm and welcoming, freshly sourced quality ingredients and products, never messed up order Sub sandwich shop... so they get 5! Lol“

“WOW! I was not expecting to want to write a review about a sandwich shop, but here we are. I was craving a sandwich and stumbled upon Ike’s by chance. At first, I was slightly overwhelmed by the huge menu, but the inventive variety is incredible— I definitely want to come back to try more! I settled on the #18 with what I assume is Dutch crunch bread and the default dirty sauce with lettuce and tomatoes. I felt like it took a little longer than other fast-food sandwich joints to craft this delicious meal, but it was well worth it! I also thought the prices were a little on the high side, paying homage to the chain’s California roots; however, this was justified by the quality. Definitely worth checking out if you have one in your area. I also think this would be a great lunch catering option for an office or something… didn’t snap a photo.“

“I’m not gonna lie I was originally gonna write a bad review. They unfortunately messed up our order and forgot ranch for our salad and ham for our small sandwich. I had to drive back to get the ranch and wanted a cookie to compensate for the missing ham and I was originally pissed walking in.

The gentleman in the beanie and an older gentleman who were working were both apologetic and I could tell they were genuinely sorry for the mistake. They fixed the situation immediately. I understand it’s the weekend and it probably gets busy and mistakes happen. I wish the two gentlemen the best and I left happy and I’m more upset with myself walking in mad

“This is the best Jersey mikes I’ve ever been to in Austin! I literally go out of my way to go to this location even though there is another one closer to me.

They always make my order correct and it’s always fresh and delicious. What makes this the best store IMO is the customer service. Ever since it opened they have been consistently great. Today they were even willing to take my walk-in order just a few minutes before they closed and although they didn’t have to do that, they did anyways and did it with a smile and kindness.

The Peruvian Steak Sandwich was delicious and would be my pick again. It has a mild spice with alot of flavor.
The Farm House Club was good. The bacon was thick and toasted. It was also on the larger side so it was able to be split into two meals.
The location and employees were nice.
The price was a little high but we will likely eat again.“

“I ordered my go-to Beach Club and tried the potato salad.

The Beach Club was really lacking the avocado spread. It was still great - but I actually opened up the sandwich to see if it was even added. Tip - if you are an avocado fanatic order a little extra. I also asked to have the bread taken out (an option they offer) and cut in half - both of those requests were missed. No big deal in the grand scheme of things. The potato salad is 100% worth skipping. I thought it would contain more potatoes. It’s basically a mustard/mayo/dill concoction. Grab some chips instead and call it a day.

Store was quiet and very clean, staff was polite. I grabbed my bag off the shelf and left. (I ordered online for pickup) No real interaction necessary.“

“I have been going to ThunderCloud Subs since I was a kid. I am now 50 years old and this is my favorite sub shop out of all of them. If you have never been here, you are missing out. My favorites are the California club, the Austin club, and the chicken salad subs.“

“They were fast and I was very satisfied with my experience. First time in their drive-through, and even though there was a bit of a line I made it through in time without needing to rush to my event haha. I appreciated how nice they were when I forgot some things on the menu.

“I don’t often write reviews, however this place is awesome!! We’ve gone frequently for years. It’s VERY clean which is the very first thing I always notice. They seem to keep the same staff for a long time and everyone is very friendly. The vibe between the workers is always upbeat and positive each time. I’ve come in a handful of times where they are working on a big online or catering order and they are still quick to get me in and out. The sandwiches and ingredients taste really fresh! My kids love it. Glad to have them in Belterra!“

“Great burger!! It a touch pricy for HEB but still a market price for the general burger in town.
Those fries are a like a twisted wedge fry but they are nice and crispy and seasoned outside, fluffy inside. Spent $28 on my burger with a few upgrades and chili cheese fries option on fries.

Honestly it was enough for two people. So price might seem a bit steep but portions are proper. Definitely worth a visit.“
