Easily the BEST sandwiches in Austin. The staff is beyond kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and just overall positive. It is also a beautiful atmosphere with great music playing. A friend and I went for the first time yesterday and both left smiling with full bellies. The porchetta was out of this world and my friend said the meatball was the best they have ever had. Meat and Bread offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. The eggplant parmesan was delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. More vegetarian options would be appreciated. Overall, a great dining experience!

We stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday during our trip to Austin. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had the two most popular sandwiches - porschetta and meatball. They were both delicious! Highly recommend.
