The Josper-roasted halibut was delicious, one of the smaller entrees but including a tasty sauce. Order the flatbread to go with it. We also had the filet mignon & that was perfectly cooked with an interesting squash & onion stir-fried side dish. We'll be back!
This was our first visit to Ember. The location was very cool, being part of the integration into old power plant. The ambiance was trendy and quaint, yet could accommodate many customers on two levels (we were seated in the lower level). The lower level was dark and cozy and the upper (ground) level was vibrant, since that is where the windows are, allowing the natural light in. The food was amazing. It was an absolute pleasure dining at Ember kitchen, my boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday there and it was amazing ! The service, food and ambiance was outstanding, they absolutely go above and beyond for their customers and I will be returning soon and definitely recommend it.
