The Ruben sandwich is outstanding, every salad I have tried is fantastic, and the mushrooms with whipped goat cheese and toast are to die for. “Since I was a kid, I always wanted to have a food establishment that I'd go to and get the same thing every time. The "usual," if you will.
While I haven't exactly gone to the counter and said, "I'll take the usual," (one can only dream), I do get the same thing every time. It's the 18 oz fixie smoothie with added hemp protein and spinach, along with the green apple Muenster grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich is especially good dipped in the blue agave Sriracha they have.
Let me tell you something. I know it's gonna be a good day when I get my lil' smoothie and sandwich. You can't stop me. I'm thriving. Ready to turn over a new leaf.
I usually hit up the Goodwill down the road afterward. Reflect. Go to the park. Reflect. Sit in the car. Reflect.
Makes me feel like I want to journal, though I haven't gotten that far yet.

“Everything was great. I like that each chicken item specifically mentions whether it is made with white or dark meat. I had chicken and broccoli and mom had pan fried noodles with the chicken, beef and shrimp combo. Both were a ton of food! Mine came with rice and it was easily 4 cups, in a separate, big bowl. The pan fried noodles weren’t what we were expecting. They resembled long, pretzel sticks in taste and texture, but they were still tasty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I wish we could’ve gone more when my son worked there several years ago.“

“Fresh, unique, and consistently yummy not much else you could ask for. One of my favorite sandwich shops! The mother clucker is my go to and the fact they carry Zapps chips makes me extra happy!

As others have mentioned prices are a bit higher than other options. In my opinion if you got more sandwich for the current price it would be a better deal, but if a few dollars is going to break the bank then cook at home?“

“I've always felt like people do this place an injustice with the reviews. I have ordered regularly from them for over a decade. Their fried chicken is the BEST in Austin. No joke. Solid fried rice, solid hot & sour. Not a huge fan of the brown sauce since it registers a little too sweet for me. Chicken Chow Mein is legit. Egg rolls are great. Give this place some love. They are extremely consistent and super friendly. They are so kind and do a great job. Don't listen to the haters.“
