“I just had lunch at Dumpling World at the Triangle in Austin, and it was outstanding. My friend and I had the passion fruit cucumbers, the vegetarian egg rolls, and I had a new item on the menu, chicken and scallion potstickers. Everything was delicious, but I particularly want to mention the chicken and scallion potstickers. They were SO good! I plan to get them every time I go back!“

I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. “The food here is incredible, in the past week me and my wife have ordered twice, first time we had the orange chicken ( WOW) and chicken soup dumplings which are an absolute must have. Ordered again last night for the second time this week and we had beef and broccoli with a large wonton soup, added some chili oil and to be honest I ate the entire 32 oz soup with the 10 wontons which was k my $10.99. If yall haven’t hit this spot you’re missing out. There is no Asian food place in south Austin that compares especially for the price. MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE THAT LOOKS AT REVIEWS“

“Enormous portion. A whole damn pot of complimentary rice with an order of a dish (or entree? not sure what's exactly the standard, but we had diced ribs and got it). Complimentary duck soup with an order of a duck as well, very generous considering some places charged additionally. Seasoning was very on point, though I wouldn't say the texture was the best (neither the duck nor the diced ribs). Duck soup was the highlight; love the winter melon. So far the best & the most authentic Chinese restaurant I've had in Austin. If price is taken into consideration, I would say this place may be able to rival some places in SoCal.“

“Soupleaf is one of the best hot pots around. Delicious broths with veggie/vegan options, tons of veggies and noodles AYCE style, and availability for included AYCE seafood at the bar, plus meats they bring out to you (if you’re into that). Unlimited sauce bar, rice, noodles…everything is included. They also have fruit and soft serve for dessert. You can top off your broth with a different variety where most other places will charge you extra for a different broth flavor. I also love that they have a different price point for their “Sealeaf” if you just want veggies and foods from the AYCE bar without any meat. Very vegan/vegetarian friendly place, but I’ve also brought meat eaters and watched them rub their full belly while rolling out the door. Great value, taste, variety of fresh ingredients, a consistently good experience.“

“This was my best and favorite Chinese food that I tried in the United States. It’s taste very authentic. The fried egg rice was epic. The orange chicken was impeccable. The broccoli beef was unparalleled and altogether was a memorable experience.

“I've been coming here for years, everything prior to Covid was better than good and the prices were cheap, and food came out super fast. The restaurants dine in service had been closed through out covid so I'm happy that it has finally opened up, that's 2 yrs of waiting people!! The self service ice and water is gone. If you want a drink you have to buy them, which are almost 4 bucks for everything, I just sneak next door to the market and buy drinks. The cashier thought we didnt pay for our drinks but they dont sell Ramune!! The price for food has gone up which is understandable, so all dishes are avg 19 bucks or more. The food all came out super quickly. Got my fav dishes, Twice cooked fish and Beef and broccoli. The twice cooked was not as crispy and the beef and broccoli was a little sweeter than usual, but overall, still the same and satisfied, just a little more costly.

“Wife had their food last year while in Austin for work. Spoke about it for a year. We finally were able to get some while in town today. Amazing! Sushi was great and delicious and all of our food was amazing! Staff were excellent and friendly! 10 out of 10 experience!“

This restaurant is beautiful! It’s well designed and thoughtfully put together, showcasing Chinese culture while still feeling welcoming to visitors experiencing it for the first time. I never felt judged or out of place.

The staff: Big shoutout to Daniel! He noticed us struggling with the waitlist tablet at the entrance and helped us get checked in. Even with a wait, we were seated in under three minutes, and he came to grab us with a calm, friendly attitude the moment our table was ready. From there, every staff member gave us fantastic customer service, the kind you’d expect at a five star restaurant. Daniel even remembered that we liked hot water and brought us some without being asked. Managers, please give this man some recognition!

The food: The kimchi was excellent. I’m picky about kimchi since I feel it has to be made a very specific way, but this one nailed it, with a nice kick of spice. Loved it. The chicken dumplings were amazing too. My only wish is for more options for Muslim diners, since pork plays such a large role in a lot of Chinese cuisine. That’s really the only thing holding it back from a full five stars for me, otherwise everything was fantastic.

Overall: I’d give the experience a 9 out of 10. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back. If you’re on the fence about trying this place, go for it! :)))))“

“We showed up on a Friday without a reservation and thought no way we’d be able to get a table. There were 3 adults and 3 kids in our party so we asked for a patio table. They took less than 20 minutes to get our table ready and it was perfect. It was quiet and calm out there. It really helped settled the little ones down.
We had Kali as our server and she was wonderful!! Her patience with the kids was just what we needed. She had great suggestions and was there every time we needed her. The food came out perfectly and even the pickiest eaters enjoyed their meal.
