Mian & Bao Reviews
Order: Rice, kimchi, 8 chicken dumplings — $17.56
This restaurant is beautiful! It’s well designed and thoughtfully put together, showcasing Chinese culture while still feeling welcoming to visitors experiencing it for the first time. I never felt judged or out of place.
The staff: Big shoutout to Daniel! He noticed us struggling with the waitlist tablet at the entrance and helped us get checked in. Even with a wait, we were seated in under three minutes,...read full review

I went here for dinner at Mian and Bao and got the chicken dumplings, rice and kimchi! It was so delicious just for that and the total was about $17! Our server Daniel was attentive and made sure that we got our food on a timely manner! Kudos to him! Me and my Thai friend greatly enjoyed the kimchi and will come back here again! 😊
We are always DYING to find authentic Chinese food and Austin and this one fits the bill! Delicious, efficient and a good cozy vibe! We enjoyed the spicy beef noodle and the fried beef dumpling!

Mian & Bao offers delicious and well-seasoned dishes, including Dandan noodles, soup dumplings, pot stickers, fried chicken with kewpie mayo, and spicy Beef Noodle soup with a tasty broth. The restaurant uses QR codes on the table for ordering, allowing guests to view the menu and receive their food as it’s ready. The staff brings out the dishes promptly, and plates are cleared efficiently. The food is reasonably priced, with a typical meal for two costing around $20 per person. However, the menu has limited options for kids, and no edits can be made to the dishes ordered through the app. Overall, it is a great spot for flavorful food and quick service.
