Shu Shu's Asian Cuisine is a hidden gem in North Austin, known for offering some of the best wok Chinese food in Texas. The restaurant provides delicious dishes, including the popular General Tso and Sesame Chicken, along with vegetarian options. The convenient location features a spacious parking lot and ample seating, making it easy for diners to enjoy a leisurely experience. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous, serving freshly made, authentic Chinese cuisine. Meals are served hot and in courses, ensuring a relaxed dining atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, providing a nice and affordable place to enjoy a good meal. Portions are generous enough for take-home, and the lunch special runs until 2 pm, perfect for a peaceful lunch away from the busy crowds. Reviewers have noted the homemade taste of the eggrolls and the fresh flavor of the lettuce wraps, appreciating the substantial extra sides of rice for the low price. While the food is generally praised for its quality and price point, there is a suggestion to clarify the menu regarding dishes labeled as vegan that contain egg. Overall, Shu Shu's remains a popular choice, with customers consistently reporting great experiences.
