Just tried Song La for the first time today. Shirley was so incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit).

Their pork chop is amazing! I absolutely love it.
The food was simply delicious, flavorful and homemade. I tried the fried pork chop and the veggie bento. The lady (owner) working inside solo does it all! She was so nice & friendly. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items.
