“I've been here twice now. The service is great, selection is great, and ingredients are fresh. It's a smaller place but typically plenty of seating from what I've seen. I do wish they had seating at the sushi bar but not a deal breaker for me. The food and service has been great both times I've been.“

“These days it’s so rare to find a place that employs a shining star. People who go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Let me tell you guys about Joseph. I went in to pick up my order. Just an order of steamed dumplings. That was it. While I was waiting a polite young man asked me if there was anything else I wanted. Surprisingly I said some sweet tea if they had it. Not only did he pack up the tea for me but he put it in one of those plastic containers they usually use for soup. A large one. As if that wasn’t enough he went out of his way to cut a hole in the lid and put a straw in it for me! I was shocked and amazed that this nice young man had extended himself to go out of his way to do this. People just don’t think to go the extra mile anymore but Joseph did and as a result they have a loyal customer in me for good. Well done Ruby Garden. You guys have a gem of an employee. That’s how you gain and keep customers. Thank you for the delicious dumplings and the stellar customer service! 😊👏🏼“

“Excellent food for the prices! Ive had to update my ratings. I think anyone looking for some great tasty Chinese food to-go will find they do NOT disappoint. This is not really a sit-down restaurant, but they have added some tables and chairs. The General Tso chicken is prob THE BEST I've ever ever had, and it's to go!!!! The chicken is crispy under the sauce and is not soggy. It is sooooo good!! The sesame chicken is one of my go-to dishes for lunch time. The beef and broccoli is always good and one of my go-to dishes. The black pepper steak is pretty much the same as the beef and broccoli but with bell peppers and onions, which I prefer. You have the option of getting white rice or Fried rice with your dishes, its not full of flavor, but it was not oily either, so I prefer that. The white flat noodles, think it was Pad ke mao, and it was very tasty with a little heat. My new fav hole in the wall, I would definitely come back again. Also, the lunch time specials are really good deals, u get bang for your buck!!Hope you guys have the same experience.“

“The food is always incredible. It is only serviced family style. Big plates to share. No combo meals. But hands down some of the best chinese food I have ever tasted. I have eaten here 10 plus times and have tried many different items, all with wonderful flavors and great taste. Spice here is rated on a 1 to 5 scale. Be careful of 5 it many have you questioning your life choices.“

“The food is outstanding. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese shrimp rolls with peanut sauce. My entree was mixed Kung Pao, mild and flavorful. The vegetables were perfect: crisp yet cooked. I will return again and again.“

I came in on a weekday at 2 or so, and that’s maybe not a great idea in fast food because it’s that time between shifts and while it’s nice and quiet in terms of customers, I was reading a book and the frantic cleaning and chair scraping around me was kind of annoying.But at least they clean, right?

My food was just fine though I love my white rice stickier…but outrageously expensive for what it was. If you’re eating there on site, just get a small fountain drink and refill it (it’s still over $2 but it’s that way everywhere). Or bring a bottled water…that’s what it’s come down to sometimes, with prices what they are!

P.E. is fine if you pass by and have a craving; I wouldn’t go out of my way for it but there’s one closer to home anyway. I was out and about that day.

They had soft music playing, which made it easy to relax and actually enjoy talking during dinner. The pho was very flavorful, and the wings and Kung Pao chicken were also delicious. Because noodles are my jam. So I couldn’t jam tonight. Other than no noodles the quality is amazing for the price. Food is good but it’s only correct if you order for pickup. Everytime I order online they forget something especially my hot oil sauce and there’s no option to order additional sauces. I’m always told to call the restaurant after I place me order so they can make sure they add it but when I call I’m always told a manager will call me back. Which never happens and when I try and call me the call gets rejected. I just placed an order so we’ll see how this goes. If it’s wrong again then I’m done with y’all.“

“TBH, Everyone who rated this below 3 stars probably likes Hao-Hao next to RR high which is about as mid as it gets.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years now - currently live in Austin and will drive up to see my family to justify eating here for dinner. My sister has even driven up from San Antonio just to meet me here for Sunday lunch. Massive portions of amazing food, great service, and reasonable prices. Hands down the best Chinese food in RR/Austin metro. 10/10 would recommend.“
