I have no idea why this place has 4.2 stars. I literally almost didn't try it, but I'm so happy I did. This is hands down the best Chinese food I've had in Texas since moving from New York. We ordered the chicken fried rice, chicken wings and the beef and broccoli. It was so damn good and the portion size is more then generous. We had given up on good Chinese in Texas, so we're excited to have a new spot. Shout out to the amazing chef!!!!

Based on the reviews, Ruby Garden serves delicious food with big portions. Specific meals mentioned include steamed dumplings, lemongrass shrimp with excellent flavor, shrimp fried rice, pho, and hot and sour soup. The soup base itself is really enjoyable. The pho is so yummy with great flavor. Take out quantity is perfect, and the restaurant gives a big bowl for take out. The food is excellent taste, and while it is not a fancy place, the food tastes great and flavorful.
The service is great. One employee named Joseph went above and beyond with customer service, packing up sweet tea in a large plastic container and cutting a hole in the lid for a straw. However, the guy at the register will push all of your buttons to make you feel uncomfortable if you dine in. The staff is very busy with to go orders.
