“Came in for a tasting as part of our new membership to the wine club. Patricia took care of me, introducing me to several wines that were all delicious! Patricia made sure I knew about key differences and qualities of each pour, without overloading me with information. She also made sure my membership was up to date which was very helpful since we are new members. I was especially impressed by the way she remembered my name and names of others tasting, and knew several other members who walked in as well. The personal touches really go a long way! Overall I had a great visit, and am looking forward to returning soon and often in the future!”

Atmosphere: Honestly when I was deciding where to have this meeting, I was looking for a cozy atmosphere. There are a million places with a commercial feel, but I wanted to sit in a historic room with a real wood floor while I sipped a latte and discussed a business plan.

Food: The quiche Florentine was amazing! Rye toast with homemade jam! Professional latte!

Service: Personal. Timely. Without pretentious comment.”

We went to one of our favorite and go-to spots on Friday for date night. We had the luxury of getting a Californian transplant Maddy with the beginnings of a very good Texas twang! She was an excellent waitress, great personality, her energy and timing of stops were near excellent.

She was very pleasant while I debated between delectable not good for me southern comfort food and healthy, healthy won out. I had the salmon with baked sweet potato and finished with a not on the menu but requested fruit cup (strawberrys, mandarin oranges and grapes) which was a great finish. The salmon was cooked just right and the sweet potato topped with butter and brown sugar was my unhealthy tease.

“I recently ate at this restaurant two times. First time I got a two meat plate with brisket and turkey, Aunt potato salad and brisket beans. The second time I got pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. And I have to say both times the food was excellent. My dad also really loved the turkey so we'll definitely be back for that again. The only issue that I have generally is they don't give you as much meat as some other local barbecues for about the same price. To be honest, the amount of meat that they gave you was plenty for me. But if you're a big eater, you may be disappointed by the portion sizes here. They generally give a quarter pound but they have rules that state that they cannot give less than that. So usually you'll get a little bit more. But at another barbecue place I ate at nearby I could get about twice as much meat for the same price.

Parking: There really is plenty of parking here, but unfortunately because it's attached to an HEB store, it's generally very very difficult to find open parking spaces, especially up near the front.

Kid-friendliness: They do not have any kids meal I am aware of.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are a few places up in the front of the parking lot, but it's very very difficult to find Open spaces since this barbecue store is also attached to an HEB store.”

“Not too far off the beaten path, just off of highway 183 between Lampasas and Austin is this wonderful General Store which serves an awesome lunch. We always opt for the burger and fries with a soda pop of which there are many to choose from. We love the friendliness of the visitors who have welcomed us to sit at their table, when busy, and the shop keeper who takes our order and brings our meal to our table when we visit. There aren't many of these type places, and this is a gem worth visiting.”

“Big taste, bigger heart! In the days following the Central Texas floods, Lulu showed up to help with the flood cleanup, ready to get her hands dirty. She worked alongside people who had been displaced by the flood, and told me several times that any time any of the flood relief volunteers or survivors needed a warm cup of coffee, she would love for them to come by the shop and provide that at no charge. I thanked her for supporting our community, but never personally made it by there, although I did share that with others! Today I went in to drop off a barrel for food collections because of course she jumped at the opportunity to support those struggling in our community in another way. I told her how much I appreciated her, and how sad I was that I couldn’t eat any of the amazing goodies in her cute shop because I have Celiac disease. She showed me several treats that are gluten free and said she was very careful about cross contamination. She GAVE me a massive piece of her Basque Cheesecake, which I could not wait to get back to the car and try. Oh. My. Goodness. This stuff is actual heaven. It’s hands down the best cheesecake, gluten free or not, I have ever had. And I’m a foodie. I savored several bites (didn’t even wait to get home to a fork), and decided it was going to be my dinner. I also resolved to save some for breakfast. O have gotten back into the container FIVE times now as I continue delivering barrels and posters. I don’t think this little miracle of a treat is making it to breakfast 😂. If you want lovely treats in a cute store on the Most Beautiful Square in Texas served by an absolutely wonderful human, you have to go check out Lulu’s. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Lulu herself.”

“They nearly always have everything in stock, but now and then you’ll catch them out of cookies. You’ll also sometimes get a dude who doesn’t care if the cookie frosting is smeared on the outside of the box. But this is in general a good location and I am happy with their service and products!”

The truck is also really nice itself, it isn't a greasy food truck like you might expect elsewhere. The staff were super nice and talented - and Amber was great to coordinate with leading up to the event. I also had two Gluten Free guests (one I forgot to tell them about and they handled it beautifully) and a few vegan guests - everyone went home happy and healthy! Highly recommend!”

It was on a slide show so I tried to read it like 3 times to make sure. Well I didn’t like it. I was just going to just throw it away and not say anything but the manager came by and asked how come I didn’t eat it and I told her. Well she ended up bringing me a whole other type of ice cream that I actually liked to make sure I had a good experience there! That’s what you call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! “The breakfast tacos at Chanos meet the need with perfection. When ordered from the menu, the tacos are cooked fresh right in front of you - really fast. And they're good. The entire area is clean and fully functional. They tend to have five or six different homemade salsitas for you to use right there or you can fill little serving cups to take with you. I have yet to pay more than $3 for a taco here. First choice for breakfast tacos on the way to work.”

Now you order your food at the counter and they bring your food to you in a plastic to go container. You have to pick up your own PLASTIC forks and napkins, and take them back to the table. The boxes they have chosen to put them in are incredibly difficult to open. The food is still really good but we will not be dining in the restaurant anymore. We might still get something to go but not near as often as we had been dining on site. Sad.”

“This was my 2nd time eating at Five Guys. The first time was years ago in a totally different city. But as far as this particular location (Georgetown) I will say the customer service was stellar. My order was shy of $20 and that was just for a plain and dry Grilled cheese with a patty and a large Cajun fry. Don't judge me, I'm really plain and simple when it comes to burgers. I honestly hated the fries and threw them into the disposal. They did give me a lot of fries and I mean alot. I got what I paid for with the fries. The fries were overly seasoned and a tad bit spicy. I just couldn't find a liking to them. The burger was good but not worth the amount that I paid. The burger was about the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger. I will not ever eat at another Five Guys again simply because I can make my own food (I was just being lazy today) or I can go elsewhere and get the full benefit of the amount I paid. Again, the customer service was good and everyone seemed nice. The manger was doing an interview I believe when I was there but he took time to acknowledge my presence. Oh, the restaurant was pretty clean. I did end up waiting about 5 mins for my order since they were waiting on the fries to be completed. I had placed this order to go via online, so I'm glad I didn't wait long at all.”

“The one in the Wolf Ranch Shopping Center is Very Cramped, but the Atmosphere is excellent - & the workers are even MORE excellent. I LOVE going there. Such-a-friendly-place.”

“Fantastic royale cheesecake blizzard and chicken tenders. Cashier knew a little Spanish, enough to communicate with my bf's family and even got up to get us water cups with ice after we ordered! There's a corner booth that fits up to 6 people, perfect for us since we always have to pull up an extra chair. Overall a friendly place and a cozy vibe. All the tables are clean and organized, too!”

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted. Sheila and Pam took their time preparing our sandwiches with care, you could tell they truly take pride in what they do. Nothing felt rushed, and every detail was handled thoughtfully, which is something you don’t see often these days.
