The Golden Rule offers a mixed dining experience, with delicious food and friendly staff. The environment is super cool, and the bar staff are very helpful and friendly, making guests feel welcome. While indoor seating may have issues with flies, outdoor seating could be a better choice. The menu includes tasty options like Huevos Rancheros, elk smash burger, dreamsicle cocktail, carne asada fries, pecan crusted chicken, and beef stroganoff. The beef stroganoff is served with the pasta on the side and cooked to your liking, and the mussels and shrimp with sauce are highly praised. However, some dishes, like cobbler and cheesecake, could use more effort, as they were not up to the expected quality. The espresso martini may taste more like a latte with alcohol, while other drinks are excellent. Overall, The Golden Rule provides a good dining experience with delicious food and friendly staff, but improvements in service and seating arrangements could make visits even better.
