“Never been to Texas and I visited with my family recently and had a young lady as my server named Alyx. She went absolutely above and beyond even though my husband was being extremely picky and the kids were were being loud. She made our experience memorable and I really hope to have her again when we visit. I will definitely be requesting her!“

“My sister and I dined for lunch today at Fish City Grill after having eyed the restaurant's name on the building a few weeks before. Being originally from Louisiana, we were curious about the cuisine. When we entered, we were greeted promptly by Daniel, who was so very pleasant and very kind to us. Daniel was so well versed about what was on the menu. So with the information that we were given, my sister ordered a bowl of Beans and Rice and I ordered a bowl of Gumbo. We also ordered the Red Fish served with Crawfish, Fried Okra and Cornbread all of which she and I shared as there was aplenty. We also shared with each other a portion of our portions of Beans and Rice and Gumbo. Lastly, we shared a helping of the Bread Pudding. We were both so pleased with the tastiness of the orders that we got that we both said that we would be back as the food was excellent and Daniel's service was outstanding. When we come back, we hope that he is there to help us again. If anybody out there is looking for excellent food and service, go to Fish City Grill. You will not be disappointed.“

“We drive an hour to eat and we’re told it would be a 45 minute wait and then when that time came they would be closing and turned away. There were 8 at least empty tables. We come there a lot and disappointed. We even told hostess we drove an hr.“

“Just had a very good breakfast here on Saturday of Labor Day weekend.

I ordered two eggs over easy, cooked perfectly, hash browns, two sausage patties, two biscuits with gravy, a large waffle, and black coffee that stayed full. Everything tasted great, came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the total was under $18 before I added a 20% tip.

The place was about 3/4 full, but the staff kept things moving and had pleasant conversations with customers. It has a smaller diner feel than I expected, located next to a large convenience/gas station, but that actually adds to the charm.

One thing I really liked is that they basically cook right in front of you, which gives you more confidence in who is preparing your food and the cleanliness of the kitchen.

It’s hard to find a good traditional breakfast in the Georgetown area that isn’t breakfast tacos or Mexican food. Nothing wrong with those, but sometimes you just want something different.

Highly recommend Huddle House. I’ve only tried breakfast so far, but they also serve lunch and dinner. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Probably unfair, but marked down for beer choices. There are 8 beers on draft. There's a lot of craft beer places around GTX and ATX that they could add. Even Florence Beer Market has better beer options. But bar food and specialty fries are always a good add.“

“I don't think I have a single complaint. My family loves this Chili's. Service is always incredibly fast even when busy. Staff is super friendly. The prices also can't be beat. My husband and I can eat there for $30 and leave completely full and we never end up having room for dessert lol. We love the triple dipper, it's a must have every time. And the 3 for me menu is super affordable. I am a little disappointed that the big smasher burger was moved into a slightly more expensive tier, but it's not so bad. Kid friendly as well. We always look forward to coming back.“
