“Cool spot with live music, a great backyard space, strong drinks and good looking food (I did not have a bite but I saw every dish that came out of the kitchen while sitting at the bar by the service station). Portions are generous! It looks like a lot of folks going there are regulars. Bartenders were friendly and working hard for their money. It closes at 1 am and it seems to get busy from 6 pm on. Ample parking right out front.“
“Some of the best food in Austin! You have to try this place. The flavors are amazing! The chefs are artists. The staff is friendly and engaging. They really care about your dining experience. Our waiter, Greg, was fantastic! (Pictured below). Ask for him and you won’t be sorry. We had the Gorgonzola ravioli, pimento cheese dip, and the Texas fried shrimp. ( also pictured below). I’ve had fried shrimp many times but what they serve here is hands down the best I’ve ever had! I hated pimento cheese, but can’t stop eating it here. Even their sides are delicious. Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.“
“I and my wife have had 2 meals at this restaurant. Not only was service good and quick the food was delicious. I do not usually think Austin food is worth remembering, but I hope this small restaurant gets the support it deserves. Breakfast is my favorite meal and burgers are the tip of the iceberg. Our sides were unique and on point. We definitely will return.“
“Very nice staff, generous portions, fair prices, hot and freshly prepared. We had the pulled pork sandwich which was tender and with good flavor, just a little greasy. The BLT was excellent and the leftovers reheated well in a skillet at home. The Mac n cheese with jalapeños was delicious and yet another item to take home. The seasoned fries weren’t anything special.“

“Yesterday, Sat. May 20,2023 we celebrated my wife Nicki turning 70. The level of customer service was outstanding. We had 70 people on the patio. The buffet style food set up, drink station, desert table was fantastic and efficient. All the food was excellent. They had a microphone available for us to use when talking to the whole group. Many favorable comments from our guests. Special shout out to Shelby, the cake lady!! The cake and cupcakes were super and were set up in attractive display. Britany was our head server. She and her staff worked hard and efficiently, catering to our guests requests/needs. I would highly recommend the Lighthouse to anyone for occasions like this. During the planning for the party I had many questions/requests. They were all met with "sure you can do that" or "we can do that". Robin and Samantha made their experience and expertise readily available to me at all times. It was a great help and much appreciated. The "happy birthday Nicki" display atop the lighthouse visible from the parking lot was a really cool. Robin and Samantha and their entire staff made this the special occasion that I wanted it to be. I am glad I chose the Lighthouse for this special occasion.“
“This is such a unique lakeside establishment. It's one of my favorite destinations in Austin. The food is pretty good but some dishes leave room for improvement. The flavor is there but lacks in presentation and limited ingredients. The atmosphere and service are top notch. This is definitely a whole in the wall neighborhood Vibing place but the patrons are exteremly welcoming, making you feel like you are a regular. Great family and pet friendly place to watch the sunset over the lake or throw a company party.Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to always be welcome and loved by all. “This is a fun place to hang out and listen to music. The staff is friendly and they make great mixed drinks and surprisingly yummy food. There are also several decent food trucks parked there, too. Big televisions to watch the game and a big outdoor stage and tables. A really nice neighborhood bar.“
“Capt Pete's is a boathouse restaurant at Point Venture on Lake Travis. They have a fairly large indoor and outdoor seating area and are open from 11am to 10pm daily. Menu is that of a typical casual restaurant with signature fried catfish and shrimp baskets, burgers, nachos and other American classics. Had lunch here recently and found their fried catfish to be decent. It was a really thin fillet like a schnitzel but it tasted ok. Fries served were heavily seasoned and tasted fine as well. Service was friendly and timely. Enjoyed feeding the giant catfish and carp beside Capt Pete's as much as eating lunch here. That was fun!“
“Staying at the islands on lake Travis. Did a restaurant near me search and found this to be close and just what we were looking for. Called ahead to be sure as they close their kitchen at 9 and they said come on in. It was a nice night to sit outside and enjoyed the outdoor lights. Nice draft selection of unique beers. Menu had so many good options and very affordable. My son loved the wings, burgers were so good! Chicken sand, chicken cesear salad and catfish sand were enjoyed by all. Good ranch too! For 5 with drinks and meals around $80. Definitely recommend.“
“I dine here 2-3 times/week. Warm, friendly staff with low turn over which means the owner is a strong leader. Food is fresh and tasty. Prices are fair. Atmosphere is lovely, contemporary and relaxing. Outdoor courtyard is nestled under lovely hill country oak trees. Music is upbeat, lovely, but not so loud you can't think or hear someone talk across the table.“
“My fiancée told me that he knew of a secret spot and he is right cause when we first pulled in I thought it was like a convenience store but I read the letters by the sealing and knew that it was a restaurant when we walked in there was a young lady at the register that gave us a warm welcome they have menus by the cash register in a lil slot thing and everything on the menu looked good but I got the Lee burger with curly fries and my fiancée also got the Lee burger with onion rings we sat in a booth it was pretty comfortable and a lil chilly in there I included pictures of the room where we sat in and in the other room where the cash register is there is only table tops well we waited about 20min for our food and this nice gentleman brought us our food and some ketchup and Tabasco everything was sooo good I ate all my fries and burger and I had the last bite of my fiancée’s burger that’s how good the food was I can’t wait to go back again and try more stuff on the menu Thank you!! “My husband & I have enjoyed The Canyon Grille, Rough Hollow, on several occasions when visiting family living nearby. We appreciate the ambiance, atmosphere & wonderful staff each time we've been there. The crafted cocktails are delicious as is every entree & dessert we've had! Most recently, the evening special of Chicken Picatta was the best I've ever had! My husband is stuck on their fish & chips. Dessert I believe was called a chocolate turtle pie served with strawberries, was ample to split & something to return for! We'll be back next time we visit!!!“
