“Route 12 Filling Station is a fantastic spot. The food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Every visit has been a positive experience, and it's clear they take pride in what they do.
The only downside is the fly situation. Both inside and outside, the flies can be pretty overwhelming and take away from an otherwise excellent dining experience. I'm still giving 5 stars because the food, service, and overall experience deserve it, but I hope ownership will invest in some fly traps or another effective solution to address the problem.“

“This place was fantastic. I stopped there twice while in town. I had dinner and breakfast. Catfish was great! The employees were so sweet and attentive. Special shoutout to Colton I think?? Red headed guy- very nice and helpful on sights to take in. There was also a young lady there that night who was just as helpful. Great place all around!“

“Had dinner at Homespun last night. Our first time there. It was WONDERFUL! The CF Steak & CF Chicken were absoultely delicious. Prices were reasonable. My only disappointment was that the veggie side dish servings were quite small. Otherwise, a wonderful meal. Servers were very courteous and knowledgeable. Can't wait to visit Homespun again.“

“First timer. Main dining room was being remodeled. The second dining room was open , but it was bit noisy. Fortunately it was a nice day to eat outside on their patio. They had put up wind breakers which was nice as it was pretty breezy. The music was a bit loud, so the server turned it down immediately upon request. The food and drinks were very good, our server, Beau, was very attentive. I hope we get a chance to go back soon.“

Upon entering the restaurant this past Saturday in Dripping Springs, we were immediately greeted with A+ service & hospitality by the Manager, Laurel. She went above & beyond explaining the property & showered us with her passion of this historical landmark. We highly recommend for hosting an event, trying their collection of wines, all summed up for a memorable experience! We cannot wait to come back! ♥️“

“My son lives in Austin and every time I visit we go to Driftwood. Tomorrow 7/2 will be our 4th time to go. We get a bottle of wine and walk over to the bistro. Great service and their stuffed avocados and steak quesadillas are awesome.“

“We have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and it is the go to place when we have company at our Lakehouse and for special occasions. It is always great. Every dish we have tried (and we have tried most of them) is spectacular. I laughed at Keith W’s review where he complains about the ambiance and atmosphere without giving any specifics. The ambiance and atmosphere of this restaurant needs no improvements. Each dining room is exquisite with beautiful outdoor views from floor to ceiling glass walls. Dzintra, do nothing different. You rock! If you feel the need to do anything, maybe lower the prices a bit instead of wasting any money on ambience/atmosphere!“
