“We went there for brunch and it was very tasty — we had the quiche and soup, pasta from the kids menu, and the shakshouka. All tasty (the shakshouka has a little spicy heat so FYI for those who don’t like any spice, but it was yummy). The dining area has beautiful glass walls that showcase the pretty trees outside. Everyone was warm when we came in on a rainy day and we noticed in the bathroom that if you round up your check, they donate that little extra to the local school arts program. My only critique was the quiche came out cold, which may have been on purpose, but it would have been even tastier warmed.“
“You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu. Everyone knows that the burgers are worth standing in line for, but, holy cow!, the catfish is easily the best in the county. We had the catfish plates with an order of onion rings, also exceptional, for lunch today. Had I taken the time and looked at the menu, and seen that you can order an entire sack of hushpuppies, I would probably be about half way through my third bag by now. If you haven't made time to stop by and get a plate full of catfish and an extra order or two of hushpuppies by this time next week, well, that's on you, and you have my profound sympathies.“

“Our server Reed was attentive and helpful, especially in assisting with my wife's limited options due to a severe dairy allergies. The food was amazing. My wife ordered scallops, and Inhad the lamb chop; both of which were incredible. We ordered the oyster deviled eggs which were yummy as well. I highly suggest stopping by for dinner when in town.“
“Hubby and I stopped by here for lunch while staying just outside of Wimberly. I had the burger salad with the creamy avocado dressing on the side and hubby had naked chicken wings with ranch on the side. We also ordered extra crispy fries. Skip the ranch folks and just use the creamy avocado on everything; the salad, the wings, the fries... it was great on everything!. We had seen previous reviews on mixed drinks being watered down or just weak at best so we stuck with beer. Todd ordered the Devils Backbone in a bottle, which he thought was fantastic and I stuck with my usual, Modelo Especial. The place itself was huge outdoors but not so roomy indoors. Since it was 40 degrees while we were in town, we opted to sit inside for lunch. While we did not stop by later in the evening, the place was hopping after dark outside with a live band. So all around, it is fantastic bar food, beers were cold, service was good and friendly. Would like to check it out one evening for the live music when it's above 60 degrees!“
“The bartender was point on with his drinks! The Bloody Mary was amazing. The Old Fashion was tasty too. Our waitress was very friendly. She had recommendations on what to eat. We ordered 2 appetizers, potato skins and fried pickle spears. 2 of us ordered chicken fried chicken with onion rings, it was delicious! One ordered the shrimp po'boy with onion rings. It was on point. The last dish was a sliced beef sandwich with peppers and onions. We sat on the patio and it was beautiful. We also had some delicious fresh baked cookies and Blue Bell Ice cream.“
“We moved from NB to CL a few months ago, and this is our new go-to for a quick delish bite to eat. The food is consistently good and ordering with them through the "Toast" app is quick and easy. I can drive down the road and chill in the car and I get a text when it's ready if I have walked up and ordered at the window. The staff is always smiling, super friendly, and accommodating.We have had the Patty Melts, several types of burgers, onion rings, tots, and fries. I would get each item again.Definitely recommend and can see this being our after river spot for a long time!“
“I really like this place. The service and food are excellent. They have live music most evenings. You can sit inside or out. There are things for the kids to do and dogs are welcome. The bars are great and the beer selection is very good, both drat and container.“

“I didn't go into there location one the pit chefs came to my salon and persuaded me to try. When I tell you the juicy brisket melted in my mouth it was unreal. Seasoning was on point don't change it ever. The fat actually melted...I don't eat fat and I ate it. He did tell me that they do a little of out source when it came to some sides but, the potatoes salad was good I can't rank it when I like both with or without mustard. Beans were bussin' no like. Sausage if you do not like a drier texture of sausage maybe find some else but we raised on deer sausage over and I love a drier sausage. Over all I will be eat from there again. Shout to Pedro I see cheffing it up!! Also hurry up and get the Wimberley location open so I can bring some of my friends.“
“First things first, best fried pickles in the universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I literally only come on karaoke nights! I don't sing well but everyone is so supportive lol I alsolove to people watch and cheer on the Karaokers! Its definitely a feel good spot! Dj Mic Lo is such an amazing singer!! He is good! It's definitely a dinner and a show!The people who come here are so friendly and encouraging and its easy to make friends here aweee I just make a day of it and go to the lake during the day and then roll in for dinner and drinks the foooooood is soooo yummy!I highly recommend the steaks tip and mash, they cook it to perfection! I invited two friends and bought them both the steak tips and mash and they absolutely agreed it was delicious the whole time they were eating it was just compliments on compliments and food moaning!The service is amazing. The staff is friendly and courteous, and they have that southern hospitality! They come and check up on you and refresh your drinks at your table!
