“First timer. Impressed with the location and atmosphere. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable about menu. I ordered the Sunday Sausage Sando. I was disappointed. I paid for a McDonald's egg Mcmuffin. At least that is how it was presented to me (see picture). On the flip side, the Lemon Panna Cotta was absolutely delicious! I will return to try something else because I love to support local businesses.“

“We dined here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. Food and service were wonderful. We did however not appreciate the family seated close to us allowing their child to “express” herself for the solid hour there. Sorry but being ok with kicking and screaming in this type of restaurant is not ok. With so many louder child friendly places, one would think a better choice. These parents were clueless in caring about the rest of us. Not to mention it was after 7pm.“

“we love Savages! The food is great, lots of yummy options. Always good to eat there, but also a great option to go when we need a quick meal at home. Bartenders and servers are always friendly and we especially love karaoke evenings and nights!“

“Hometown feel to this diner, with great service and food. Prices were reasonable. Folks were friendly and service was quick.
Parking: Lots of easy access parking. Handicap parking with a ramp.
Kid-friendliness: Family style place kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp was in good repair and close to handicap parking.“

“Excellent food every time we visit. We've been coming there for 7 years when our son introduced us to Hays City Store. We came yesterday from Beeville for Matthew's 41st b'day! Great food as always.“
“We had a delicious brunch on the patio today. We really enjoyed the avocado toast Benedict, which featured a perfectly poached egg. We also really enjoyed the pancake, which was huge! Best of all, they have a dog friendly patio with plenty of shade.“

“My son lives in Austin and every time I visit we go to Driftwood. Tomorrow 7/2 will be our 4th time to go. We get a bottle of wine and walk over to the bistro. Great service and their stuffed avocados and steak quesadillas are awesome.“
“Carla's chicken salad is sooooo good! The burgers are awesome! The flan.....oh my gosh... best I've ever had!!! Fresh food at it's best AND LOCAL!! Oh & don't forget to try Asher's snowcones! I highly recommend the Electric Lemonade!!“

“We come here often for frozen Palomas & Margaritas( they’ll make them to go for you ) and or to stop and watch live music. They have wonderful service, and delicious food and beverages. We love sitting outside under the giant trees strung with fairy lights. The atmosphere and scenery really make this place special! They are always extremely accommodating to our two toddlers and we always enjoy visiting! I would disregard any of the negative reviews, I think some people are just unhappy no matter what. This place rules!“
