What a great place!! Clean and lots of tables. Very friendly. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was huge!! Lots of chunky chicken. I decided I needed to try the peach and strawberry pie. Total yuuum. See you next time.
You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu. Everyone knows that the burgers are worth standing in line for, but, holy cow!, the catfish is easily the best in the county. We had the catfish plates with an order of onion rings, also exceptional, for lunch today. Had I taken the time and looked at the menu, and seen that you can order an entire sack of hushpuppies, I would probably be about half way through my third bag by now. Oldies has some super juicy burgers and absolutely amazing sweet potato fries! My only complaint is the price - we got 2 burgers, 2 canned sodas, 1 regular fry and 1 sweet potato at it was $47something (without the tip).
