“Food is authentic, flavorful, colorful. Black ceviche is by far the best blend of seasoning I've ever tastes. Mole enchiladas are great as well. Nice clean open floor restaurant, the service is usually slow so order a drink and enjoy your company. Always awaken my tastbuds when I “
“Wonderful experience. John was our waiter, he was cheerful, engaging and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and everything we ordered was delicious. Our group would highly recommend visiting here, ask to sit at one of John's tables!“
“I am fortunate to visit wimberley cafe on a regular basis. The team is always kind and attentive. I enjoy running into Jay and Jennifer when they are there. Always good to see owners in their restaurants ensuring a great customer experience.I’d give 6 stars if they would let me. ??“
“We went there for brunch and it was very tasty — we had the quiche and soup, pasta from the kids menu, and the shakshouka. All tasty (the shakshouka has a little spicy heat so FYI for those who don’t like any spice, but it was yummy). The dining area has beautiful glass walls that showcase the pretty trees outside. Everyone was warm when we came in on a rainy day and we noticed in the bathroom that if you round up your check, they donate that little extra to the local school arts program. My only critique was the quiche came out cold, which may have been on purpose, but it would have been even tastier warmed.“
“The food was extraordinarily good. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our lunch while kids can play on the rope structure. The place was packed, but we did not wait long at all for the food. Our server was very attentive and continuously filled our water cups. I really loved this place!“
“Didn’t have anything to eat, but the items looked delicious.I have found a rare place who knows how to make a good matcha! Very excited to find them. They offered organic matcha and that’s hard to find.Very pleased with my visit. Can’t wait to go back.“
“So happy I stopped by this wine shop on my way back home. It’s really decently priced tasting menu and I love it brings in wines from all over and not just one specific winery. The owner is a sommelier and really knows how to build a profile and educate you in manageable pieces. It’s So cute too will be back!“
“This is a perfect gateway to forget about city life!If you love to enjoy quiet nights and a sky full of ⭐⭐ this is perfect! They have a good truck and the food is really good! They have live music karaoke and more check their website or call for more information!“
“You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu. Everyone knows that the burgers are worth standing in line for, but, holy cow!, the catfish is easily the best in the county. We had the catfish plates with an order of onion rings, also exceptional, for lunch today. Had I taken the time and looked at the menu, and seen that you can order an entire sack of hushpuppies, I would probably be about half way through my third bag by now. If you haven't made time to stop by and get a plate full of catfish and an extra order or two of hushpuppies by this time next week, well, that's on you, and you have my profound sympathies.“
“So delicious. We got the harvest salad, thai Brussels and the Stk Diane split for two. Zoe is an exceptional server! She was very attentive and accommodating to us. The atmosphere and quality is stellar. I highly recommend for a quant romantic date night with a gal pal or love.“
“Hubby and I stopped by here for lunch while staying just outside of Wimberly. I had the burger salad with the creamy avocado dressing on the side and hubby had naked chicken wings with ranch on the side. We also ordered extra crispy fries. Skip the ranch folks and just use the creamy avocado on everything; the salad, the wings, the fries... it was great on everything!. We had seen previous reviews on mixed drinks being watered down or just weak at best so we stuck with beer. Todd ordered the Devils Backbone in a bottle, which he thought was fantastic and I stuck with my usual, Modelo Especial. The place itself was huge outdoors but not so roomy indoors. Since it was 40 degrees while we were in town, we opted to sit inside for lunch. While we did not stop by later in the evening, the place was hopping after dark outside with a live band. So all around, it is fantastic bar food, beers were cold, service was good and friendly. Would like to check it out one evening for the live music when it's above 60 degrees!“
“In my continuing search for fabulous Texas Hill Country BBQ, I sampled the brisket from Kelly’s in Wimberley SW of Austin.A food trailer in a laundromat parking lot across from the hub of Wimberley, the local HEB, may seem strange. But Kelly’s brisket was “genuine no-knife needed, melt in your mouth” fantastic. Little picnic tables, styrofoam containers, rolls of paper towels with plastic cutlery made the dining experience much different, no doubt. But Kelly’s focus is 100% about the BBQ. I saw 1 guy standing at the rear of his open door SUV, eating his lunch. Bottom line is simple: it’s all about the food, not the setting.Open Tuesday through Saturday 11am until they run out of food. Highly recommended!“
