“Such a relaxing and beautiful stay! We stayed in a King Bed and it had everything we needed, super cozy bed, mini fridge, and a coffee & tea station. Brunch was AMAZING… the stuffed French toast was the best I’ve ever had, and the tostadas, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, and mimosas (especially the guava!) were all incredible. Live music, a cozy fire out back, and the perfect Wimberley vibe. Highly recommend!“

“We hosted our son’s wedding welcome party at Willow Lake Watering Hole and Mercantile in May 2025, and it was absolutely perfect. Owners Greg and Chloe went above and beyond to bring our vision to life for a 230-person celebration. The Jesse Stratton Band (with a fiddler added at the bride’s request!) played amazing music, the twinkle-lit outdoor pavilion was magical, and the bar service was top-notch all night. As out-of-towners, we needed local help, and Greg truly delivered. He connected us with a rideshare driver (Chris) and even arranged late-night pizza delivery from Marco’s when nothing else was open. His response? “I’d want someone to do this for my daughter.” This wasn't just a venue, it felt like being welcomed by good neighbors who genuinely cared. Thanks to Greg, Chloe, and their team, our weekend in Wimberley was unforgettable.“

“We come here often for frozen Palomas & Margaritas( they’ll make them to go for you ) and or to stop and watch live music. They have wonderful service, and delicious food and beverages. We love sitting outside under the giant trees strung with fairy lights. The atmosphere and scenery really make this place special! They are always extremely accommodating to our two toddlers and we always enjoy visiting! I would disregard any of the negative reviews, I think some people are just unhappy no matter what. This place rules!“

“I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to put my two cents in. We have enjoyed dining there over 20 times .... we usually go for breakfast. This is not your typical five star franchise, it's a mom- and pop-style restaurant, moderately priced. If something is not right, not hot enough, or your waiter isn't waiting on you, speak up. Complaining on reviews because of one bad experience gets you nowhere and not every visit was perfect.“

“1st time we have been since it became Chills. We liked it! The front staff wasn't all that friendly, but our waitress was great. Food was good, and quick. My son had the best tine on the new play area they put in. sad to see that the creek looks as dirty as it does. I remember taking my adult kids here when they were little and it was so beautiful.“
