“Came from Corpus Christi to enjoy our weekend at canyon lake,decided to stop by since we pass it going to and from our camp site everyday and we were BLOWN away. The owner and staff were so nice and attentive AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! 10/10 we’ll be coming back every time we visit the lake.One more thing,thank you for being so kind to our pups and offering them some of your delicious brisket and water.“
“EXCELLENT service! Super friendly staff. Convenient location! The burgers are REALLY good & condiments are crisp & fresh. I don’t eat hotdogs so I can’t offer a review on those. They offer a small area for Al fresco dining as well. The parking is extremely tight & very limited so just keep that in mind. They also have daily specials which get switched up monthly. They are currently M-F & closed on weekends I believe but definitely don’t pass them up, it’s nice to have a burger place so close to home. They’re located JUST PAST Island View, coming from Startzville but can be difficult to spot coming from Sattler as the trailer is a bit hidden so just keep that in mind to watch for it once you pass the Heritage Museum & apartment complex.“
“Kafekali coffee is a must when you visit canyon lake! I kept searching around for a place to get a delicious cup of coffee and this one piqued my interest when I saw the name. Let me tell you, I do NOT regret it. Cute little place run by people who seem like your grandparents, the coffee is PERFECT and this is from a former barista! I had the kafekali mocha and my husband had the same just iced. For my husband who hates the taste of coffee, he loved this one! Mine was perfection. Sipping as I’m writing this review! I also got Brookies (brownie/cookie) for my kids and they were delicious! Also got the bear claw cause I’m a sucker! PERFECT!!! I will come back next trip!“
“We liked this spot so much we stopped twice. The staff was wonderful both times, the manager served us on a very busy Saturday and was great. Thursday no wait, but Saturday there was a wait. I tried the eggs veggy benedict it was good, and the veggie omelet I really liked a lot. The cappuccino with honey was good, had strength to it. My Husband shared his berry biscuit with us all it was so good. It was recommended I stop here, glad we listened.“
“Picked up some coffees & a kiwi smoothie on the way home after vacation. My mom got the mocha hazelnut and I got the Christmas Cookie drink. We both took a sip & said "Wow, that's good!". Great, friendly service too! Thank you!“

“First things first, best fried pickles in the universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I literally only come on karaoke nights! I don't sing well but everyone is so supportive lol I alsolove to people watch and cheer on the Karaokers! Its definitely a feel good spot! Dj Mic Lo is such an amazing singer!! He is good! It's definitely a dinner and a show!The people who come here are so friendly and encouraging and its easy to make friends here aweee I just make a day of it and go to the lake during the day and then roll in for dinner and drinks the foooooood is soooo yummy!I highly recommend the steaks tip and mash, they cook it to perfection! I invited two friends and bought them both the steak tips and mash and they absolutely agreed it was delicious the whole time they were eating it was just compliments on compliments and food moaning!The service is amazing. The staff is friendly and courteous, and they have that southern hospitality! They come and check up on you and refresh your drinks at your table! “Tommy is an excellent pit-master!! The brisket is top notch, probably some of the best I've had in a long time. I grew up in Central Texas so I know good bbq. We also had coleslaw, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and pinto beans. I think the potato salad was my favorite. It was very creamy and flavorful. The coleslaw was awesome because it had a vinegar taste, but was creamy. The mac & cheese was cheesy and smooth, and the pinto beans had a nice flavor too. Overall I'd say you definitely need to come here, Tommy provides excellent customer service!“
“OMG! Carne Asada burrito is easily one of the best I have ever had, and definitely the best one I have had in Texas, anywhere. I have been back twice since the first visit and I wish I could comment on their other menu items, but I am stuck ordering the same item each time. It is sooooo good. The flour tortilla is just amazingly toasted to perfection. You place your order and they give you the beeper and you can sit in your car until your order is complete. I can't say enough about this place. You WILL go back, Trust me on this.“
