“I was having such a bad morning and I went to this location after a different location messed up my drink (by accident) so I just went to buy myself a new one at a location I’m familiar with. When I walked in Shay immediately interacted with me instantly improving my morning. Not only did they make my drink perfectly but they made me feel 100% better by the time I was leaving the location is clean, Everybody is kind, and I just wanted to take a moment to write a review to let other people know that the Starbucks on Pat booker road in Live Oak is a great location to go to to get your drink made right and to have friendly and fast service. Thank you Shay! You da best. If you already didn’t have a job, I’d hire you to work for me you you have a great customer service skills.“
“What a lovely little K-Café situated in a quiet part of Cibolo! We were really missing Korean café vibes since we left Humphreys, and this place hit the spot tenfold. The owners are super sweet and friendly, and the drinks are top notch! Highly recommend the JollyPong Smoothie if you're a cereal lover like me. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu!“
“Atmosphere 5/5: It's my favorite breakfast place in San Antonio! There's a dip down in the road by the highway, and you drive down the road a ways. Gorgeous scenery, there are walking paths and other shops open later.Food 5/5: Lemon blueberry pancakes, then crabby benny and texas benny. Payment by CASH ONLY and it's donation based. $15 recommended + $5 for extra items.Service 5/5: Lovely people, quick service. They even ask your name when you order and remember it.Parking: Lines are thin“
“Bussin!!! The baked chicken and gravy is fire! The yams bussing! The Mac n cheese isn't nasty, but it's kinda mid. It went well with the catfish though, and the catfish is fire too! I was salty they were out of the banana pudding and they only had a few servings left of peach cobbler so I'm pretty sure that means it's good. The kool-aid is banging. Fresh and hot! Made to order! Definitely will be a repeat customer!??✊?“
“The frozen yogurt is great and it’s awesome to be able to pick as many flavors and toppings ?Edit: we have gone back a few more times, the staff is very friendly, the flavors they offer are awesome and they have old school game boards at the tables, which makes it a really fun experience. 10/10“
“Really adorable coffee shop with community focused vibes ?I tried a bunch of different coffee shops on my visit to San Antonio but this one was my favorite! They had three pour over options, and each one was delicious and well made. They also have delicious baked goods from chickpea bakery (vegan). They have non vegan baked goods as well. The baristas are super kind and friendly, and it makes you feel like you are really welcome to hang out for a while. If you decide to enjoy your drink at the cafe, they will serve it in an gorgeous handmade ceramic mug, and they there are a lot of ceramics available for purchase. Can't wait to come back here on my next visit!“
“Always in awe of how Wild Barley has overcome what could be a major intersection nightmare location and made it their own oasis of family friendly environment with insanely patient, professional staff. All in addition to their award winning food and beer that is uncompromising in its quality (not to mention value) when every restaurant on earth has countless excuses to cut corners. Our latest visit was on a Friday afternoon, surrounded by a good contingent of extremely genial regulars plus lil’ regulars and I hope to count ourselves as ones soon.“
“Stopped for something to drink on the way to Austin. Staff was super friendly and kind. Coffee was exceptional. This place was recommended by a friend to we were visiting in San Antonio and it did not disappoint. Hope to return upon the next visit to San Antonio.“
“Cappy’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in San Antonio and I make a point to come every time I visit. You can’t go wrong with the mustang chicken and the crispy brussel sprouts are to die for.My young daughter would be upset with me if I didn’t mention her favorite part of the meal— the delicious bread they serve before the meal. Our waitress was kind enough to box up an extra loaf for her to take home when she realized kiddo was adamant about bringing home the last small piece.Make reservations, you need them!“
“Saw this place on Facebook and as always looking for something new. There is a large amount of parking across the street but the parking lot can fill up fast as well . This tells you how great this little town is. The inside is small but the patio area is very spacious with several tables to sit at. There is a stage and the music was awesome! I felt like I was at home in my own back yard. The food trucks vary. I did not care much for the two food trucks there that night. (I won't say which because this is based on my taste not anyone else's) drinks were good and there are $2 shots when you hear the train horn ?. I loved this place and so did my family who attended. The age group is a mixture and dog friendly. Try this place and always judge fir yourself.“
“A great little stand to get some breakfast. The beignets are not like the ones from New Orleans but good. We were the first ones there because we had a flight to catch. The workers were very friendly. Their bag of beignets were very generous.“
“At first glance outside you might wonder if you are at the right place. Walk in to the most friendly, cozy panderia you've ever been! Love this family business attitude! Right away they ask if you've ever been there before and then walk you thru what they have for the day. Let me tell you.....hard choices and you just might walk out of there with one of everything! We ended up with a bag full of goodies. Very reasonably priced I might add! The concha's were so fresh and moist; not dry at all. Very fresh taste! I'm not a big fan of tres leche but wow! Definitely a fan of theirs! Moist; not too sweet but sweet enough. Very fresh! We walked in not long after they opened to an empty business; then turned around after they finished telling us about everything and there was a line out the door! If you are looking for a great panderia and wonderful service; this is the place to go!“
“Great walk up coffee trailer! Coffee is to the point. Menu is small so it’s easy to get what you need. Food options are limited but tasty. There are a few outdoor tables to sit at but with other vendors here it’s sporty to get a table. One of my fav coffee stops in SAT when I’m in “
“This is the reason I visit San Antonio. I live for the world’s best Al Pastor, it’s here!! I’ve tried all pastor all over the US, nothing compares. Thank you for your amazing recipe. The strawberry horchata was good. Of course, I will visit each time I’m in San Antonio!!!!“
“Lori was so hospitable and gave us an amazing experience. She even turned on the outdoor lights so that we could walk around and take pictures after dinner. She recommended an excellent wine and put us on to a new favorite dessert - sticky toffee pudding. This place checks all the boxes and the winery cats were a bonus.“
“Great little spot for awesome drinks! This was our first time here and the bartender was amazing in explaining how they make drinks. We told her what we liked, and she made drinks accordingly.I ordered something like a Paloma and the rest of my group ordered old fashioneds. The drinks were delicious and the service was exceedingly hospitable! Will definitely be returning.“
“I was very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. The workers very nice and helpful, the rib tips were amazing good, the pulled pork plate was delicious, the sides are good as well. I almost forgot to add that the pulled chicken potato was good.Parking: The parking was located across the street and it wasn’t a lot of parking.“
“First visit. Tried the mystic smoothie, it tastes like a chocolate milkshake which I wasn't expecting. Smells organic in there, clean aesthetic and staff was nice. Got a free ginger shot cause it took pretty long for 1 drink, apparently they were short staffed.Would go back to try a different flavor.“
“Can’t stop recommending this place! Amazing selection of top tier pastries, a good selection of savory & filling kolaches & tacos, and a wonderful & joyful staff.Truly a gem of downtown San Antonio. If you needed a sign to go try it out, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! (Personally the horchata donut SLAPSSS)“
“Tried their BA Sascotch and the Triple and was greatly pleased. We received exceptional service from Veronica and James. The food tasted awesome and our kiddos loved their selections from the kids menu. The gathering fries were a treat for everyone at the table. I might have ate a little too much.“
“Ended up finding this place on Google after my Dad read the hours wrong for a different restaurant.I'm glad he did though, this turned out to be a great find! The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. Great casual place to relax and grab some really good food and drinks. I had the pulled pork wrap and onion rings, which were both excellent. The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. They have a lot of other items on the menu that I can't wait to try. I highly recommend Wraptitude and I'll definitely be going back!Vegetarian options: I'm primarily a carnivore, but I noticed quite a few vegetarian options on the menu. I recommend looking at the menu for more details.Kid-friendliness: They have a play area out back for kids.“
“Got a coffee there the other day and it was very good and decently priced. Two guys there were very helpful but there was an Asian girl there who I can tell didn't want someone that looks like me on her establishment. Probably thought I was there to steal or cause trouble. I was questioning about the coffees guy in the front seemed new so she reluctantly had to chime in but the look of her face as she told me real quick if whether an expresso or cold brew was stronger said it all. Not welcome. I grabbed my coffee and immediately left.“
“My Husband and I come here almost every weekend. Not only do they have some yummy breakfast and brunch items but I absolutely love how involved with the community they are. They post updates for menu changes, specials, and if the hours are chabged for any reason. If you dont follow them on facebook and instagram you should. They ask for suggestions on what the community would like to see or eat, and the coffee?!?!?! I am a coffee snob because I was a barista for many years and I looooove the options they have to pair with yummy pastries. Definitely a must to go and experience, and they have a pick up option and drive thru if you don't like dining in! I have not once had terrible service in the numerous times I've been, all the servers and employees are super polite and accommodating and so helpful if you feel stuck and want something new. They have great recommendations ?.SIDE NOTE FOR BLOCKHOUSE: I'm from SC so I know its a bit different than it is here, but if you guys offered a grits breakfast bowl I could live in peace lol! ❤️“
“Update!! 7 brew drink for my whole team here in Stone Oak!! We love 7 Brew!!!This is my new favorite coffee place! No more Dunkin or Starbucks! All the employees are so nice, the service is so quick and the drinks are great! Also, these cute little symbols on our drinks this made my daughters morning!“
“My partner and I both got the patty melt with sweet potato fries. They were really good. We like that you can park pretty close and the seating is nice(just wish it wasn't so cold when we went). We also got a Crunchie and a PB cup. Both were yummy! We will definitely be back on our frequent trips to San antonio since it's on our way! Woo-hoo!Vegetarian options: Whole menu is vegan! So automatically vegetarian friendly!Parking: Parking is free and close to truck“
“The tacos here are absolutely amazing. Starting with the tortilla, each looks loving made by hand. The atmosphere here is cool too, just standing to place an order there is a smell of pure heaven, this place is an experience. Tucked away downtown, we stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was no wait, plenty of parking and seating. My boyfriend ordered the 'Carmen' and he really enjoyed it. I had the 'Elida' and oh my gosh that carne guidada is rich and delicious. It was devastating to finish and I should have ordered two. They are larger than average street tacos and there is an assortment of salsas that is top notch. Just overall, love this place. I can not wait to come back and eat more tacos.“
“We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. One of the best wine menus we have found in SA. Wonderful service with friendly staff. We love to enjoy a glass or 2 of wine outside on the patio. We always get a small bowl of their mixed Spanish olives to pair with our wine.“
“Press Coffee on Broadway in San Antonio exceeded all expectations!Their lavender latte was a true masterpiece, blending the delicate essence of lavender with rich, velvety espresso. The atmosphere was trendy yet welcoming, providing the perfect backdrop for savoring every sip.If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and indulge in the lavender latte at Press Coffee. It's a five-star experience you won't soon forget!“
“Older crowd type bar. Great drink specials. Jukebox has a great variety of music. One pool table. Two dart machines. Only downside is there is only one bathroom stall. One thing you're definitely going to have to do when you're drinking is use the restroom lol. Over all nice hole in the wall bar.“
“Made a stop at Second Pitch Beer Co. for the first time. Man...were we glad we came hungry because the delightful folks inside of Satisfried (excellent name!) took care of us. Mac and cheese was so good it disappeared before my Yelp! camera could catch it. Bar none... best chicken fingers ever. I had to ask and yes... home made Cajun flavor that does not disappoint. Check them out!“
“I haven't had good brisket in a while! They stopped me and had me try a sample of brisket, tried it out, it was already heaven in my mouth. I had to order. Got myself the Brisket Sandwhich and oh boy, that was worth every penny. They definitely got me sold and I look forward to ordering more from them.“
“Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Even walking in at 7:01 am (I’m sorry to be that person), the staff was so nice and welcoming. Amazing coffee and service. Love the “paid for by a stranger” board. All around, incredible place.“
“I personally had an amazing experience here. All the details were on point. We got to seat ourselves. Orders were brought out spaced out so we can take time to enjoy drinks, appetizers, and meals separately. The cheese plate was amazing as well as the chicken mash. Staff was great as well.“
“So happy that I saw this food truck through the Netflix series and decided that if I was ever in the area I definitely wanted to eat there. Well that took a while, but it was definitely worth the wait! WOW WOW how delicious and especially that brisket ??!!!!“
“Hidden secret. Great pub food, exceptional good-hearted service, fantastic prices, if you don't come here you should ask yourself why not. Did I mention they have Yueng Ling on draft? I'm not special, but I don't review often unless the place is worth it, do as you please.“
“We were on a mini working vacation and by chance we stopped at this bar. Dani was the mixologist who made amazing drinks and super friendly. I have traveled alot of places around the country but by far best mixologist I have ever had you must stop and see her if you around that area of Texas thanks for the great service ??“
“I take my 7 yr old here on his special treat days (or whenever we feel like it). The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious. My son's favorite is the strawberry and spinach salad (all salads can be made into a wrap) with an extra boiled egg. I like all the fruit bowls but my favorite is the Tidal Wave bowl and the mango smoothie. The peanut butter protein balls are good, too. I like everything here and the staff are helpful and friendly.Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian options with option to add chicken, egg, or other protein.Kid-friendliness: High-stools, so not kid-friendly under age of 6 yr old if you want to dine in.“
“Smack's Chicken is a hidden gem! The owner is not only a wonderful cook but also a funny individual. You can tell he means business when he's cooking and serving up your order. The chicken wings in any flavor are absolutely awesome! And let me tell you, the chicken sandwiches are so good, they'll make you twinkle your toes. And don't get me started on the mouthwatering mac and cheese and THE LOADED FRIES(generous portions)!!! Highly recommend giving Smack's Chicken a try. You won't be disappointed!“
“Man all across the board 5 stars no exaggeration here I promise. Food is so good. The food actually looks like the picture too. They got great customer service. I think his name was Reggie??. I’m going to beat eating a whole a lot more. This is the place guys, they may be carrying San Antonio with this spot. The sweet potato salmon. Oh and prices are great! Excellent job!!!“
“Had a great time with friends here. The food was excellent. We mainly did tapas and paella. The servers were very attentive parking was tricky because there were other events going on downtown. I had the chefs charcuterie plate which was very good. I also had the bacon wrapped dates which were a nice mix of sweet and savory. I also tried the tacos which were a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good Spanish food.“
“Boudin balls were okay. These were crispy on the outside but hard to cut into bc they were so moist and chewy. I like mine dryer on the inside. The Dirty Rice is the best I've ever had. It's filthy good!! The Crawfish Ettoufee and Mac n Cheese were good. Everyone on staff was very friendly and attentive! Next time, I want to try a seafood boil.“
“Had an incredible experience at this gem of a pizzeria! I love supporting my local community especially when it’s family owned and operated! The owner (Jefferson) was so instrumental in helping me pick out the perfect pizzas based on what I liked. His kindness and passion for his business was refreshing and inspiring to witness . I ended up ordering The Al Pastor & The Texas BBQ pizza. Both were filled with amazing flavor that left you wanting more!!! The crust alone added insane flavor to every bite!Again, the pizza was AMAZING! I highly suggest checking this pizzeria out! Especially if you’re looking to try a whole new twist on Pizza!!!“
“We went on our lunch break for the very first time last week to this establishment, and we were happily surprised by the entire experience we had here.To start, this Deli was located inside what looked to be a very old house. From the outside eating area to the inside dining room, it was decorated beautifully and provided a very cosy and welcoming environment. The staff were very kind and professional. The kitchen was super fast to prepare our sandwiches, and the food came out absolutely delicious. The only food item I wasn't the biggest fan of was the mac and cheese side that they offered, as the cheese they used tasted a little bit bland for my specific preference.I will definitely be returning to this amazing lunch spot when I am looking to get a deliciously crafted sandwich.Parking: Parking is behind the building and free.“
“A friend of mine wanted to go as soon as they opened & I had never been. The female working was professional, fast & friendly. I have to give props to whoever designed the place. The vibe, decor, layout & overall atmosphere was ??“
“The pizza puffs are sooooooo good!!!! The kids and I are obsessed with the grapes and the wings are mouth watering! Peach cobbler is delicious but we saved it to warm it up. The owner is super sweet and really puts her heart into what she does. We love this spot!“
“Nestled within a bustling shopping complex near Alamo Heights Methodist Church, this gem of a restaurant offers convenient parking and an inviting atmosphere. The decor is tastefully simple, creating a comfortable ambiance that’s enhanced by the charming outdoor seating option. The culinary experience here is exceptional, with an array of mouthwatering dishes. The mini tacos, tortas, and puffy tacos come highly recommended, but rest assured, the menu is filled with other equally impressive selections.Chips and salsa are served with a variety of other sauces and tortilla soup, some of which are absolutely amazingService at this establishment is attentive and commendable, adding to the overall delightful dining experience. I had the pleasure of trying their Micheladas, which, without a doubt, rank among the best I’ve ever enjoyed.Despite its modest size, this restaurant is a standout destination that’s absolutely worth a visit.“
“A brewery with a kitchen always holds a special place in my heart. I also appreciated that this place has a flight option so I can try several options. I also love the option of filling up a growler with your favorite drink. Very tasty food and drinks with an outdoor dog friendly space. I highly recommend.“
“Epic spot. Steel tip dart boards? Frozen pizza to order? $5.75 for a 16oz Lone star and a double Jim beam shot? I'm in..... What a cool place. The service and just overall experience was something else. If you're a Chicago fan of any kind, this is your go to bar. Can't wait to go back!“
“Absolutely wonderful dining experience. the moment we walked in we were greeted by Shana who was so welcoming and friendly. Carla our waitress was extremely attentive and followed up during the meal to make sure everything was to our liking and came back to refill beverages. She explained the menu and made wonderful suggestions. Tania stopped by our table to greet us and to offer dining suggestions as well. She enticed us and made it so much more difficult to make a decision so for a table of 4 we ordered the nachos, tuna totopos , queso, guacamole and then my husband ordered the grilled fish, and 2 of us had the barbacoa tacos and another person had the chicken enchiladas. We also had 3 desserts! EVERYTHING was exquisite! I have never had better barbacoa! It is tender and absolutely perfectly seasoned! The chicken in the enchiladas was also beautifully seasoned. I would have just loved it on a salad ! My husband LOVED the fish and sauce and the white rice and the salad/dressing.We are in town from Dallas and will be going back before we leave! Please open Carriqui in Dallas/Plano ... We had one little hick-up which didn't matter much to me because I did not need the tortillas but the corn tortillas fell apart when we went to pick them up! We ate the tacos with a fork. Suggest that be addressed but other than that everything was perfection! We will be back before we head home!“
“First Time here....Ordered the Turkey Cheese Buger with the Fixings Was A great Burger Not Dry..Very Juicy I Enjoyed it..and Soda for $12 Bucks.Little pricey..Dined in Was Very crowded Luch Time But the Wait wasn't long...Will Be Back.“
