“The pizza here is so delicious!! I love the honey bexar pizza and zeppoles. The young woman that rung me up I think her name was Maddie was soooo sweet. The girl with half blonde half brown hair was also very nice and brought my order out to me and made sure I was all good. Highly recommend this place. Also their gluten free pizzas are actually good!!“

“The Purple Pig was recommended to me, and I recommend this outstanding BBQ eatery enthusiastically. The best pulled pork BBQ I've eaten has been in Tennessee. Nothing to compare. We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. Wonderful sides. Add to the excellence of the food is the service and the quaint, charming setting. Five stars.“

The service is fast, the food is always fresh and delicious, and you can tell the team really cares about their customers. “My family finally checked out this place and I'm not sure why we haven't until now!! Staff was all incredibly nice. Very clean restaurant. Prices were good. Everything we had was delicious and made to order. You can tell that love and care were put into everything we got, something I definitely appreciate. I had catfish and fries, it was perfect and definitely satisfied my craving that day. My husband had a Chicago dog and it looked amazing, he enjoyed it. One kid had a gyro and wow, it looked great. She wouldn't let me try it lol. The other kid had kid chicken tenders. They were not your typical frozen nuggets y'all, they were fresh fried chicken and she loved them (picky kid). We will be back. I can't wait to try everything else. Maybe next time I'll remember to get pictures but trust me, give them a visit.“

“My server was Jeanette, who turned the last exhausting leg of a state wide work trip around. I was exhausted, walking into this place to eat made me annoyed. The table I was given was sticky. And then Jeanette approached… I wasn’t bitchy but I was short and she didn’t let it change her amazing customer service. She had me smiling and happy to be there in under 5 minutes. Next time I’m in town, I will be back. She is a treasure! The pancakes were also great!“

“I didn’t catch the man working at the drive thru’s name, but I believe his name tag said he was the manager. I was amazed by his kindness and customer service! He seemed to really love his job and recommended a delicious avocado sauce to us. He really made our day!“

“What a pleasant surprise today! I had never been here before, so I stopped to carry home lunch after my doctors appointment. I had the Thai beef salad (Yum Neau) and it was delicious and large! Just so full of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and cilantro. The dressing was perfect. I also enjoyed a Thai ice tea and some cheese rolls. The cheese rolls are double the size of other Thai restaurants.
The staff was lovely. They brought me a cup of their chicken noodle soup while I was waiting.
I will definitely visit here again. I'll bring my Thai loving grandsons with me next time.“
