“Stumbled upon this spot as I was out doing a few errands in the area. I haven't been around Seguin much, so this is coming to you as an outsider perspective. Easy parking options for downtown, a cute coffee spot with way more seating than expected. I was a little worried that the coffee and food would be plain, but it was the EXACT opposite. I got a blackberry & white chocolate matcha latte w/ almond milk which is like a dessert but not super sweet in any way. Just enough! I also ordered the Turkey & Apple Slices sandwich toasted and I was super impressed with the instant gratifications of the flavor and crunch of the apples! I have not had a sandwich like that before. I'd definitely go back next time I'm around the area!“

Texas Mead Works Wineries • $$

“We've tried many meads from meaderies all over and we weren't expecting much. We were very pleasantly surprised! You can actually smell and taste the fruit and the honey. Don't go expecting wine snobs, these are people who like to taste the fruit, and that requires some sweetness. We bought a bottle and will buy more!“

Seguin Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“Seguin Brewing Co. I would consider as the best option here in this ever changing growing city. Led by Tyree the menus is ever adjusting to seasons and fluidity of the market. Most recently my experiences with the fish taco option was the finest experienced in Seguin. For a pizza try any size of the Supreme with extra mushrooms on top of a crisp crust. All ingredients are fresh. Oh one more thing the constant flow of live local and regional musicians each week provides an option for the market like no other. To wrap it up with pet friendly space quality food options and top level service the experience is worthy.“

“It was our first time here. Newlyweds to the area of Kingsbury and Seguin, we wanted to try and find our "new" spot.Upon arrival, around 6pm, it was not busy we were able to get a table very quickly.A server greeted with a smile. We chose to sit outside because it was a gorgeous day.We started out with the fried stuffed jalapeno poppers, which was new for us and very yummy. Fresh jalapeños and the stuffing was delicious and creamy. My husband ordered the market price steak of the day with rice and pablano creamed corn. He ate everything. I ordered the Cajun pasta with steak medium rare, which included a side salad and garlic toast. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was the atmosphere based on the servers. They didn't seem to care to be there. I felt bad for whoever they were serving! Sluggish attitudes, no Inviting charisma from anyone, other than a smile. It dwindled my expectations for the place until I received my food. My server was great. He just didn't give us his name and I shouldn't have to ask for it. I didn't see a manager around, if there was, they didn't seem to want to be around either to make sure customers were greeted properly.Overall food and view was great, I just feel some more pep talks for the servers is needed.“
