“You know how old people, maybe your great grandparents, talk about how people used to be. People were friendly and enjoyed meeting new people. They sat out on their front porch at night talking. They had neighbors over for dinner once a week or so. They helped a man that needed help, and kicked a man's butt that needed kicking. You can still find those kind of people. This is that place. Plus you can get fair prices buying or selling on everything from goats to cattle.“

“Food is better than good. Not great but I was satisfied and not disappointed. Service is great. We were escorted to available table right away. It was not crowded but a lot of diners for Sunday lunch around 1:30p. And we didnt wait long for our server. Older gentleman but very attentive and well verse about the menu. Food took a little longer to be serve not a big deal but its a bistro and our server explained ahead of time. Not complaining just observed a group of 2 couples on the bar way too loud most probably drunk too fast or drinking for awhile and its a smaller place and we were seated 2 tables away from them. I can only imagine the family seated beside them. Over all? We will come back.“

“Was out in new Braunfels for an event and was looking for a breakfast spot. We had to order take out because we were short on time. This place popped up in my search and had decent reviews so we gave it a try. The chicken and waffle was good and I was kinda skeptical on eggs but they tasted good. The potatoes were good as well. We got there before there was a crowd so it took about 15-20 mins to get food. Crowd started to show up as we were leaving. Everyone was friendly that worked here.“
