“First off food was great. Expensive, but it’s Austin.

The cocktails were also great.

But I booked a table a week in advance almost since we were in town for 6 days, and put down patio seating. I wanted to sit outside.
I then wait for my table about 20 minutes to get walked to the bar area and sat at a tiny table and told the patio was rented out to a private event… then why did you give me a patio seat option?
It’s so loud in this place between the dj they have for some reason and the huge crowd of people we had to shoulder thru to leave when we were done.
We basically leaned over the table the whole time to have a conversation and even that was difficult at times. So did the people next to us lol

If you want to feel like you’re eating a good meal in the middle of a club, this is your spot. If you want something quieter to relax at the end of the day. This isn’t it.“

“Carpenter's Hall restaurant is a little gem that folks don't realize is there. The food is excellent and the price/amount ratio is right. They do their own baking so their buns and desserts are awesome. The flavors are so tasty and not overwhelming. I've really enjoyed it.“

“We’d hoped to go to Mozarts next door but it was sold out for Christmas Lights. We decided to try Quince since we had spent time getting there and parking. We asked if we could sit near the water and they took us to a table one row away (the rest was booked). Happy Hour was almost over but our waiter Baddi said we had enough time to order. He recommended a margarita/sangria mix which was yummy. We ordered the HH brisket fries and Tuna Wontons. Everything was delicious and Baddi’s service was excellent. At one point the music got really loud, which started to annoy us, till we looked out over the water and a slack rope walker was performing over the water. It was quite a show! He later did the same thing over one of their outdoor decks on the other side. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and were surprised so few of the indoor seats were full. If they opened their door and made it more welcoming, we thought a lot more people would have come over as the outside areas were packed for the lights.“

“We had an outstanding dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to Michael, our server, and Sydney, the host! Both went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Michael provided exceptional service, and Sydney greeted us with such warmth and kindness.

The food was absolutely delicious! The shishito peppers and burrata peach salad were standouts and did not disappoint. Everything made for such a wonderful dining experience. Coming all the way from New York to Texas, we were so happy to have such a memorable experience.

Michael and Sydney truly made our visit special with their outstanding service and hospitality. Employees like them, paired with delicious food, are what make a restaurant stand out. We would absolutely love to come back! ⭐“

“My family and I were visiting Austin all the way from Arkansas. We found this restaurant, as we were out shopping at the Domain and I tried the Korean BBQ Philly cheesesteak sandwich. When it came out, it was so big that I cut it up in smaller portions because I didn't think I was going to eat all of it. But I ate all of it and it was so delicious! 😩 The service was great as well. We sat outside and ate under the shaded patio since it was so packed for the game, but the shade still provided coolness, so the atmosphere was still nice. 10/10 recommend.“

The reviews were impressive so we decided to try it. I’m so happy that we did. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The restaurant is lovely, well appointed, and has great ambience. The bar tender, Ray, was so attentive and helpful with the menu. Probably the best martini I’ve ever had. I don’t say that lightly as our business was based in travel so I’ve dined in some very prestigious hotel restaurants as well as enjoyed fine dining during many business dinners. The drinks were stellar and the food exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed the lamb meatballs in an agradolce sauce and the brisket nachos. Both were superb. I am extremely critical of food as I’m a very good cook(aspiring chef)😊 This will be on our frequent flyer list from now on. The prices are very reasonable. In today’s economy we have experienced a sudden and universal decline in food quality with more than a few restaurants. This was such a pleasure, surprise, and all around delightful experience. Fresh ingredients with perfectly blended spices speak for themselves.“

I stopped by for breakfast on my last day in town and was seated promptly. After considering the assortment of omelets, sandwiches, and other fare (including, surprisingly shakshuka), I opted for the migas tacos. They came filled with beef, eggs, jalapenos, pico de gallo, and cheese, and they were paired with potato wedges. The tacos were definitely a knife-and-fork rather than a handheld affair, and they delivered all the right flavor notes. The accompanying potatoes were well-seasoned and perfectly crisp. All told, it made for a salty but satisfying and filling meal.“

For the dining experience we had, they should be charging 2-3x more for their food and we would gladly pay it. It is a small restaurant so reservations are needed to make sure they have availability.
