“Great place, brought my wife for our anniversary and we really enjoyed ourselves. I reserved seating next to the balcony and had an amazing view of downtown Austin. The staff had really great customer service and service was quick and we received our drinks and food in a timely manner and not to mention they have us a complementary glass of champagne for the both of us. I recommend this place and will be returning.“

“We came here for drinks and apps one evening and was wowed by a beautiful sunset over Austin. We snagged a seat around a firepit, which was nice as there was a slight chill. The drinks, too, helped warm us up as we tried two different dips to go with the nacho chips. This is an expensive view, don't be fooled, but an excellent one if you are in the area.“

The staff is always two steps ahead, creating such a delicious dinner and wonderful evening. Thank you to the chefs, kitchen team, and servers for always making it so special!
The divine sea bass is FOREVER my favorite dish — it literally melts in your mouth and is so incredibly smooth! And the cocktails paired with the beautiful view of West Austin’s rolling hills make any first-time visitor sigh. Every time I see that view, I smile and think to myself, “That view I cherish!”

“Exceptional experience. Our party was all impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere.

Rob, the owner, greeted us at the door and spent time walking us through some popular menu items and the wine list, asking questions about what we like. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and anticipated our needs without us asking. We loved every dish and drink we had here; a rare find.“

“This spot has a great atmosphere with a lively, inviting vibe. We tried the chicken skewers (8/10), Brussels sprouts (7/10), spicy hummus (9/10), and lamb meatballs (6/10). Everything was enjoyable, but the chicken skewers and spicy hummus were easily the standouts—the hummus in particular was excellent.

The Out of Office cocktail (5/10) was fairly underwhelming and not something I’d order again. Overall, though, we had a very enjoyable experience and would happily return to try more of the menu.“

“This hotel restaurant is 5 minutes from our house. It’s been there for approximately 2 1/2 years and I had no idea it existed. While running errands at five in the evening I decided I didn’t want to cook so I googled restaurants in my zip code. This restaurant popped up with 4.5 stars. The reviews were impressive so we decided to try it. I’m so happy that we did. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The restaurant is lovely, well appointed, and has great ambience. The bar tender, Ray, was so attentive and helpful with the menu. Probably the best martini I’ve ever had. I don’t say that lightly as our business was based in travel so I’ve dined in some very prestigious hotel restaurants as well as enjoyed fine dining during many business dinners. The drinks were stellar and the food exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed the lamb meatballs in an agradolce sauce and the brisket nachos. Both were superb. I am extremely critical of food as I’m a very good cook(aspiring chef)😊 This will be on our frequent flyer list from now on. The prices are very reasonable. In today’s economy we have experienced a sudden and universal decline in food quality with more than a few restaurants. This was such a pleasure, surprise, and all around delightful experience. Fresh ingredients with perfectly blended spices speak for themselves.“

“I’m lucky to have known Michele since I was 17 when she met my brother and became his wife and my sister. Not only is she one of the most loving and generous people I know, she is also by far the most enthusiastic foodie and creative cook, who I have been lucky to learn from. I love being in the kitchen with Michele and our family. My best memory is heading out to our local Chinese supermarket to find the ingredients for wonton soup (which I had fallen in love with whilst in HK), coming back home and cooking pork and prawn wonton from scratch whilst Michele made the chicken broth like a pro......the soup was amazing and just like I remembered. We always have so much fun together, doing what we love.x“

“Drinks are definitely overpriced, small size. Honestly, happy hour is the only time it feels worth it. Bartender wasn’t the most welcoming, sadly! a smile would’ve made the experience better. The pool’s more for looks than lounging, it’s super shallow. And heads up! just snacks, no real food. To be real, I’d only come back for happy hour or a special event.“

“Dive bar vibes with a really interesting and well executed food and drink menu. Some indoor seating but a huge back patio area. Very dog friendly, cool clientele. They do various theme nights like Meatless Mondays and Tuesday Steak Nights. Service is bar-service only but friendly and capable“

I ordered the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with the Parm Truffle fries, though I think the chili-dusted fries would pair better with the entree. Glad I went with the famous Did You See the Bats? cocktail because it did not disappoint! Overall, I’d come back and recommend to others.“

“The 04 Lounge is one of those bars that you discover once and then keep coming back to every chance you get. The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious with just the right amount of energy to make every visit feel like a great night out with good company. The drinks are well crafted and the selection is broad enough to satisfy every taste whether you are in the mood for a classic cocktail or something a little more adventurous. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of throughout the night. This place has a real soul to it and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in all of Austin.“

“Moved our to Austin fairly recently, and was leaving Kingdom next door when a familiar song drew me in. Saw they had Hookahs, the most wonderful owners/bartenders, and I have been hooked ever since. This place caters to everyone, and it is the type of place that a few visits will have you feeling like a regular. Of all the bars in Austin, this has become my spot. Great drink prices, fun atmosphere, and of course you can get a good hookah. Highly recommended if you want a break from the same old same old 6th street madness.“

“I've visited here several times over the years. My most recent visit was today for Barks for Beers. I had the Hittin' Dingers - Pre-Prohibition Pilsner 🍺 It had a nice citrus flavor and I really liked it. I love the dog friendly patio in the back. My dog, Bogart, enjoyed getting a treat and done nice cool water. The food is also really tasty here. I didn't eat anything on my most recent visit.“

“My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to Austin for a quick getaway from Houston. We are staying at The Loren hotel and we had dinner for the first time at Nido. The moment we walked in, the service was impeccable from the staff to the decor and incredible views from their outside patio area. You can see Austin downtown skyline from your seat at night, truly breathtaking. Our server Tim is amazing, I will definitely ask for him each and every time we are in town. We ordered the Edamame and their Oysters, oh my goodness it was so flavorful and delicious. Next, I had ordered the Scallops with a side of Broccolini and it had a lemon twist to it, very good. Lastly we ended the night with their Pear Cinnamon Roll, that is a MUST!!! Everything was top tier and am so pleased with this restaurant. Thank you Tim for taking such great care of us!!“
