The owner / chef Saaj is an Austin local that feeds his customers as true “neighbors” by sharing his native recipes with a unique home cook feel. The portions are massive for just under $15, and I dare you to only eat it once. It’s in the backyard of C-Boys - and Austin staple in its own right, so enjoy a Shiner Bock and some local blues while you eat.“

“My husband loved the crudo dish, had the smashed cucumber (smoked labne, nigella, amba, aleppo). Frena - this was delicious! (mediterranean wheat, za'atar, lamb butter, beet horseradish. Chicken Shawarma - laffa, carraway cabbage, green tahini and fixins Favorite was the falafel - tahini, amba, green shug..... yum! Cocktails of course! Our waitress was Sophie she was very gracious and attentive. Definitely going back.“

They were busy and hadn't gotten to my pickup order in time. I was a few minutes early. They offered a free drink. And my food was ready only a few minutes past the expected time. Didn't expect that level of service. Also free stuff tastes better :)“

“I visited Thursday night with my husband. I am a picky eater and also not a big food truck eater either. I was absolutely blown away by the flavor that hit my taste buds! The food is amazingggggg!!!! We ended up ordering many items to try and took home leftovers to enjoy later. The combination plate, lamb wrap, fries, cheese fries, and hummus were some of the items we sampled. No choice you make will be a regret. The cherry on top is the atmosphere of being outside with a light Austin breeze and the owner with his friendly, humorous personality making sure everyone is satisfied and having a great time with full stomachs. “This is easily one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. The chicken was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly, and the gyros were just as impressive with fresh ingredients and amazing seasoning. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous for the price.
I came here with a group of friends, and every single person enjoyed their meal. Everyone found something they loved, and we all agreed we'd definitely come back. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the overall atmosphere made for a great experience. The salad in the plates and wrap is incredibly fresh, the meat is flavorful, and even though I don’t prefer falafel, I thoroughly enjoyed the falafel here. USA Halal is a must-try for anyone looking for mediterranean and middle eastern flavors. The chicken Shawarma and lamb beef are my personal favorites.“

“Would highly recommend the gyro wrap. The meat is so juicy and the flavors all come together beautifully. I’ve ordered the gyro plate before and while that may be your best bang for buck because the quantity is a lot, that gyro wrap is unbeatable. I would frequent this place for that alone.“

“I had seen Judy’s around forever as I got food from tloc’s next door. It is really close to home but just never connected. I went this last weekend for a chicken schwarma, and was really impressed with their menu and prices. I got my schwarma and it was top tier with seasoned fries to add to the wrap. “It was really great place to visit the (thicket Park). It’s a family friendly location. I came with my wife and my son. He had lots of fun and we tried to eat at TX Shawarma. Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal, and definitely somewhere I’d come back to again.“

“Perfect and crispy falafels. Not undercooked or overcooked. Creamy and plentiful hummus but I could taste salty as I’m sensitive to high sodium. I just wished that Tabbouleh isn’t too watery or has too much olive oil. Maybe it’s how Lebanese dish is cooked. The lady offered to bring the meal to my car which was nice.“
