“I've been visiting this place for the last 5 years and, every time, the owner has just been incredible. He always goes above and beyond to take care of us.

His food genuinely tastes like it was made with love, the balance of Moroccan flavors are mouth watering and I also just really appreciate a good human being as well.

Chicken schwarma or Kofta plate and dolmas are my go to. The Moroccan take on everything is welcomed.

“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. The only issue is no parking. Tried to park across the street for 20 mins and got a boot.
If you don’t pay attention to the signs, they will boot or tow your car 😭😭 my shawarma ended up costing me an extra $100.

And I’m recently crippled so it’s hard to walk.
Austin parking situation sucks really bad for people who are disabled.“

“Would highly recommend the gyro wrap. The meat is so juicy and the flavors all come together beautifully. I’ve ordered the gyro plate before and while that may be your best bang for buck because the quantity is a lot, that gyro wrap is unbeatable. I would frequent this place for that alone.“

“I tried this food truck about 3 months ago and meant to post this review a loooooong time ago. The fact that I still think about this place says volumes.

I tried the Philly cheese steak and it was 10/10 in flavor. Huge portion and even got to try a taco. Will definitely go back when I'm back in town.

“Been coming here for YEARS now and this food truck has seen me through it all. Ali has a heart of gold, remembers his customers, and ALWAYS puts me in a good mood with his amazing cooking and attitude. Both of which has never once faltered all this time. Not to mention his prices are VERY reasonable, he's open late, and personally, it's an absolute pleasure supporting someone with this rare level of dedication towards their craft.

This is not an ad, I was just excited to give the shoutout & review this place deserves after all these years! (Sorry it took this long haha) The next time you need something quick, or are tired of overpaying for fast food made by kids/corporations who couldn't care less about you, remember this place. You'll spend less time and money for a better meal than any drive-thru in town.

“First time and definitely not my last time eating here. Food was awesome. I got the beef and lamb gyro with a side of the rice and devoured it. Meant to take a picture but it never got the chance because it was so good and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The man working the truck was also very cool. And the baklava was amazing. Definitely recommend to get one with every meal. Please stay at your location as long as possible, I live right next to there and am going to tell all the people I work with and know about your food and will be sending customers your way! We will also be returning as often as we can to try everything on the menu 👍“

“Okay, I have not left a review for this place yet and I am mad at myself for it. Sammmmmmm is the sweetest man ever! Everytime I come to the truck, he is always so nice to me. My order is always chicken over rice or the combination plate. They are fast and efficient. The food consistently tastes amazing. Anytime I come here, I grab my plate to go and 20 mins later I eat it in the comfort of my home. Still hot. Always bomb! Tonight, I thought the location was closed. It wasn’t in its normal spot! I happened to walk past some food trucks and checked to see if it was there and eureka it was! I went straight to Sam and said “OMG I thought you all closed!” I don’t make it out to East 6th all that much anymore, but anytime I do. I have to end my evening at Halal Time! He was generous enough to give me a water, because he knows I was dancing all night and Texas is hot… He even gave me Baklava on my birthday one time. 🥹 Now I’m eating my bowl in the comfort of my apartment writing this review!“

“I had the pleasure of enjoying my first plate of yumminess while attending Mythicon last weekend. It was so great to have some authentic middle eastern. It was delicious. The staff was so fun and friendly that we got so busy chatting I forgot to pay. “Really good. The pita was warm and chewy and was the perfect thickness. The falafel was really well spiced and made to order so it was hot and crunchy and delicious. He also put a good portion of tomatoes, lettuce and sauce- the perfect combo. If definitely comeback for another falafel wrap.“

“This was my first time in to pick up. I always order through Favor I believe, or 1 of the delivery apps. Jordan was there and gave me a great customer experience. His hospitality was incredible....we had a large order and he helped me to the car! Food was amazing as usual... the Jalapeño Fish Salad is a favorite and their Fried Chicken is hands down, best in town. Thank You Jordan and Halal Wings for a great lunch today!“

“Used to come here all the time before Covid whenever we drove my brother to Austin for school, then it was closed for a long time for some reason. Recently realized it finally opened back up and have had it a couple times again - easily better than Halal Guys. Fantastic portion sizes and tastes great, especially the chicken. Will always come back whenever I'm visiting Austin!“
