“AMAZING fresh hand-made Turkish cuisine. The mixed grill plate was so delicious and cooked to perfection. Chopard salad, cigara borek (crunchy shell of pastry filled with melting white cheese & parsley) along with Baklawa and tea were simply incredible.“
“If you're craving great Mediterranean flavors, look no further than Dallah! From their perfectly seasoned grilled kebabs to their fresh and zesty salads, every dish bursts with deliciousness. The ambiance is inviting, the service is excellent, and the portions are generous.Kid-friendliness: Brought my 5 year old. She enjoyed the food too.“
“I was a bit nervous to try Greek food. But it was amazing. I loved all of it. We tried the Hercules, which had chicken, lamb and steak and I was not disappointed. I even loved the lamb which normally I don't ever like but this was really really good. I didn't mind the wait time because I understand everyone loves this place. All the staff was very friendly as well.“
“Came originally to pick up food for someone else, it smelled so good and looked so good while waiting and was amazed by the taste, quality and portion size of the plates. I can't wait to try everything on the menu so far the Potranco plate has been my favorite, give them a try you won't regret it, unless you don't like flavor and being full lol!“
“While this place may be missed while driving down the road, you should not miss out! This place has a fantastic set of options far exceeding the fast-food places surrounding it. Every bite of my meal was a fresh, delicious, and incredible example of Mediterranean food. Do not miss out on this incredible food option in Alamo ranch! To the staff: Thank you for the amazing food and interactions! I look forward to seeing you all in the future!“
“Best shawarmas in SA hands down, I’ve been coming here for years and never been disappointed, food and service always in point, food even taste better when I’ve reheated it the next day, kind of shawarma makes my heart and tummy happy!!“
“Ordered a family order today. The food was absolutely delicious. Loved the dolmas! I simply cannot say enough about the quality and the generous portions. This is the second time I have gone and Baba Shawarma did not disappoint. PS the baklava was also great! ?“
“Exceptional kababs and authentic Middle Eastern flavors make this restaurant a true gem. The Mediterranean dishes are outstanding, and the Iraqi specialties are a delightful addition. From tender kababs to flavorful mezze, every bite is a journey through the rich culinary traditions of the region. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine!“
“We found this place on Google randomly as it’s about a 5-10 minute walk from our house. We decided to bring our dog, not knowing this food truck sits outside of a dog park, and had a great time with awesome vibes. The Pita Chick did not disappoint with possibly the most flavorful gyro bowl I have ever had. The ingredients were so fresh, which was especially evident with the hummus. 10/10 would recommend.“
“My first visit here, and I ordered the lamb gyro. The staff was super friendly. My order was prepared fresh, and the fries were made to order. I found the lamb to be tender and very tasty. The fries were served hot and crispy with the perfect amount of season. The restaurant had nice decor. Really good first visit.“
“We dined in here for an early dinner last week. Hubby got the Chicken Shawarma plate with a Greek Salad, a cup of Lentil soup, and a sweet tea. He said he absolutely loved his entire meal. I had the Gyro plate with rice and Greek salad and tea. The food portions are ample and a great value. Two people could likely split an entree. We would definitely recommend this place and will certainly return again to try other dishes.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options available here.Parking: Ample free parking is available in parking lot in front of restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is easily wheelchair accessible.“
“This spot was recommended from someone who did my eyebrows at Lackland. Came here with family for dinner to try some Turkish food and man we were not disappointed at all! ?? The food was delicious and customer service was great! I wish all the best to the new waitress! She seemed a lil nervous but I know she’ll do great in the long run!Thank you for a wonderful time! ?“
“Amazing! This is literally the best Arab food in San Antonio. Their daily specials are the best. If you are looking for authentic Jordanian/Palestinian (Levantine) food this is the spot!! The staff is so friendly and polite, very welcoming! The Mansaf is the best Mansaf I've ever had, every bite takes me back to my childhood in Jordan. I am obsessed, I want to eat here everyday! Their Kabsa is also amazing! You must try this restaurant, you will not regret it.“
“This place was simply amazing ?. The food was fresh as can be. The Pizza was an explosion of flavor. The wings were so tasty, hmmm Buffalo. ?. The waiter and hosts was so kind and talkative. I love that they are open until 3am. It's literally the spot. My Greek salad was so tasty. The pizza dough was so soft. Every bight was mouth watering. I look forward to returning for Mediterranean food, appetizers, pasta and Calzones.I met the owner, he has authentic recipes from Mediterranean. Highly recommended. It's a small dine in, but so cute.“
“Wow, this place is a hidden gem. The saffron rice, kebabs, and mint tea were all absolutely delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. I will be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up onto front walk and plenty of room inside to maneuver.“
“The food is amazing and authentic. and after your meal I HIGHLY recommend the turkish coffee it is delicious and non acidic. the pricing is very reasonable for the quality. The only reason I did not give 5 stars on service is becuase the owners (I assume) are very busy doing things related to thier business and would benefit from having one extra front of house staff member to assist in waiting tables when they are preoccupied with running the restaurant“
“Marvellous selection of really tasty food. Great vegetarian options for those interested. Excellent lamb gyro. Beautiful clean location. All for a reasonable price. More middle eastern than exactly Mediterranean, but really spectacular. Definitely worth a try.“
“We got takeout so we didn't have a sit down experience but the pita chips and roasted red pepper hummus are SO good. The staff were super friendly and quick and great at giving recommendations for us since we had never been before! We always appreciate that.“
“I recently dined at this exceptional Mediterranean restaurant, where the aroma of wood-fired delights immediately captivated my senses. The lamb chops were succulent, the grilled octopus perfectly tender, and the pork belly boasted a delightful crispiness. The feta dip was a heavenly accompaniment, and the pizzas and paellas from the wood-burning brick oven were a culinary masterpiece. The impeccable service added to the overall delightful experience, making it a must-visit for those seeking a taste of Mediterranean perfection. I highly recommend!“
“Seems odd to eat in Walmart but the food was amazing and the man who made the food was so genuine and helpful. I had the beef wrap with fries and a drink and my husband tried the bowl with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef. All really tasty! Oh and the baklava was delicious!“
“Delicious! We got the gyro plate, beef schwarma and lamb kabob plate. Portions were huge and food came quickly. It was so delicious! Make sure you try one of their homemade lemonade. The hibiscus is full of flavor and the rose one is softer and just as yummy.“
“I’ve literally never had better falafel in my life. This place was such a nice surprise, we chose it randomly because I was craving Mediterranean. The food was all absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was really cool and authentic, and the staff were so kind. Highly recommend and will absolutely go back!“
“excellent food. the lamb tikka and hummus was especially great. the two hostess/servers Isabella and Nasira were the best me and my wife have ever had. They both made us very comfortable and happy we chose this place. excellent staff and food makes this place a five star experience.“
“Food is great! The falafel tastes very authentic! Chicken shawarma is good and not greasy ☺️. Fries are yummy! I would love to have the garlic sauce containing more mayonnaise than starch and maybe having a little bit bigger portion of the shawarma in the platter! One more positive is the kids are so welcoming! We loved that! Overall, we enjoyed our experience and we wish the family owning the truck a good luck?“

“What a delicious meal!!!Came for dinner on a Saturday night with no reservations, and even though the restaurant was busy we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was very nice, and offered great service and menu suggestions. We started with the ginger amuse buche, which is a really fun way to start the meal! For apps we go the smoked mushroom ceviche and Wow!!!! I have never eaten a mushroom that tasted like this before, smokey and meaty and juicy! The puree and and agua tigre that it came with was so flavorful and bright. We also had the roasted beets appetizer and it was good also! The beets were soft with crispy outside. My MIL said, "if beets tasted like this all the time I would eat them everyday!"The cabbage salad with carrot date puree was also a stand out dish. Soft and buttery, with umami and sweetness, it was really delightful.I got the tandoori salmon, which was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. The dessert was good, not too sweet!10/10 can't wait to eat here again. Great for a date night or a special place to take your parents.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie and vegan options!“
“John the Greek has always been the best place for a gyro!!!! Such a great laid back easy atmosphere with a family run Greek restaurant with absolutely the best food! I've eaten there dozens of times with my coworkers and it's always been consistent and delicious!! Highly recommend the gyro or chicken gyro. I'm sure their other authentic food is great too but I don't know much about other Greek foods so I'm not adventurous enough to try the other stuff lol.Parking: Huge plentiful parking lot“
“Chicken Shwarmas was DRY. Wow a tiny pineapple juice in a can for $3 and online Shwarma is $8.99 or so ...so why $15? Overpriced. Small portion. Sauce tastes like ranch? Mabey.Disappointed. Taste good just needs to be fresh. Cheaper price. Recommended you are more visible. Clean area and add a bench to eat. Bad location imo.“
“One of my favorite places in the area. The wine is very good and always different. The owner really adds a personal touch to this place by greeting his guests, Recommending wines, and engaging in conversation. Christian, AJ, and Dannette always take the best care of us. They all really know their wines and make great suggestions.“
“Delicious food, as always! Demo’s is a San Antonio classic! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. But today I came during dinner and ordered the regular size, original gyro, my dad got the gyro plate and a side of fries. The original gyro came with red onions, tzatziki, and a good heaping of beef/lamb shawarma on a thick, delicious, fluffy pita bread, and a good serving of French fries. The gyro plate came with a LOT of shawarma, Greek salad, 1 dolma, 4 pita slices, red onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki. It only came with 1 tzatziki, but extras are 50 cents each. They also have Mexican coke!“
“Very fast and friendly service. They have a lot to choose from. Pizza, wings, Italian, subs, cakes, and more. Everything I’ve tried so far has been very good. They have lunch specials as well. Have tv’s on every wall with all kinds of channels for everyone to watch something, even kids channels.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian dishesDietary restrictions: Have meals for people on dietary restrictionsParking: If it’s busy you may have to walk a bit after parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible“
“Food was delicious. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and not particularly attentive. We waited over 30 minutes just to place our drink orders, and it took almost an hour for our meals to arrive, with no updates provided during the wait. Attempts to catch the attention of the servers were mostly met with indifference.“
“I have to admit that when I originally saw this Radad Grill open, I thought it was only middle eastern food but after seeing their lunch specials posted outside, I decided to give it a try as they also have pizza, Italian and Chinese. I really enjoyed my chicken fettuccine plate and will definitely return, to try other things. It’s nice to have so many menu options and an extensive dessert menu as well!“
“Nick and all of the staff make Cava feel like a second home! The positive chemistry of the entire staff makes this place the perfect lunch, dinner, or snack stop. The customer service is beyond the roof and the positive energy keeps me coming back. The acts of kindness I have experienced in this Cava location has changed my life. I've been to this location more than 50 times the past year, so the staff basically knows my order. The food is always fresh, in perfect quality, and given in generous portions. There's 6 Cava locations in San Antonio, but I'll always choose the one in Huebner Oaks!Dietary restrictions: There are vegan and vegetarian options making Cava an inclusive food option for everybody!“
“If you imagined a rooftop lounge with great food and drinks this is the bar of your dreams. The views are breathtaking. The staff is amazing (thank you Jaden Smith for world class service), the drinks are like candy. You can make a reservation online for lounge or table and honestly we started at 4pm. We are barely leaving at 8pm but plan to make our way back here by the end of the night for the night life. The food is amazing, quick, and hot to serve. It's not crowded, it's not noisy, it's not bougie. It's just right. I recommend anyone wanting to celebrate a birthday or just visiting, this is the place to get a view of the city.“
“The staff is so sweet and their Mediterranean Burger was SO worth it! Paired with mango nectar/juice to have that balance of salty, sweet, and sour (from pickled onions). Would 10/10 recommend.Oh, and the dogs sitting near me approve of the fries ?“
“Yum!! The food was so delicious and fresh! I had the small greek salad with gyro meat and it was HUGE! My friend enjoyed the steal kabobs and rice. The pits bread is soft and warm. But the star of the show was the Baklava Ice Cream--don't leave without trying it!“
“Super cool view! Super glad we came up here to check out the view of the city! We came on a random Tuesday so not sure what the typical ambiance is on a regular Friday or weekend. The drink was delicious! Incredibly expensive. It was $17 for that pink drink seen in my photo. Plus a $2 tip. So pretty much a $20. However with the view and the set up of the patio it's definitely the scenery that you're paying for. NO PARKING! You have to pay for parking downstairs which is $30, and they do NOT validate! Keep that in mind. Find alternative parking or cough up the cash.“
“Great food that is always fresh and cooked well. I've moved away from Texas, but visit often (every 3 months) and Demo's is always my first and last stop of my week long visit. I always order the deluxe, double meat gyro with fresh cut fries and a side of tzatziki sauce for dipping. I've been on a search for a comparable gyro in NE Ohio, but haven't had much luck finding anything that compares to the quality and value of Demo's.“
“The manager Kelly was honestly one of the best, if not the best manager and employee of a business I have encountered. I was very iffy to try this place because I am a very picky eater but it ended up not being that bad. She let us try samples of anything we asked for and she wasn't mad or irritated by it, or didn't appear that way and that means the world for a returning customer. They were pretty busy when we went and she was still helpful. My fiance and I will be back. Thanks for the experience.“
“Great option if you're looking for a healthier alternative with flavor. Think of it like Chipotle's gym bro. The only thing that gets me, is that I feel like lately they've been skimping on the rice. But the good thing is you can get as many toppings at the end, at no additional cost. So I try to get as many toppings as possible to make it worth the price. Their pickled onions add a great flavor to the dish. As well as the Chilli hummus. Defenitely recommend. My fiance and I pay about $33 for 2 build your own bowls, with avocado (extra charge) and 1 medium drink. The cucumber lime with mint drink is very refreshing. And they have right rice as an alternative to rice, which is nice for the healthier people.“
“We love this addition to our favorite place in San Antonio; The Pearl. This restaurant has never failed to provide delicious food and drinks every time we go.We usually go with the "curated dinner" which provides a four-course meal. The different dishes change every time we go, and they never fail to hit the mark.Parking: Parking on the streets or next to the Pearl usually costs money.“
