“I was a bit nervous to try Greek food. But it was amazing. I loved all of it. We tried the Hercules, which had chicken, lamb and steak and I was not disappointed. I even loved the lamb which normally I don't ever like but this was really really good. I didn't mind the wait time because I understand everyone loves this place. All the staff was very friendly as well.“
“My Alamo Ranch favorite! I've been a loyal fan of this this place ever since it has been open, and it NEVER disappoints. The food is a delicious and healthy option; plus, with the many different combinations to choose from, it never gets old. The staff are prompt and helpful when it comes to recommendations, too. If you're in the area ( or not ), definitely try out Bowls N Go!“
“Want to initiate world peace? Spread the word on this restaurant. The food - so much flavor. Real ingredients. A side salad not covered in bacon and cheese? Am I in Texas? This place is amazing. Get a souvlaki - do the side salad. They make their own dressing in house. So clean. Clearly family run. I don’t want to post this, so that it stays my little secret.“
“Amazing! This is literally the best Arab food in San Antonio. Their daily specials are the best. If you are looking for authentic Jordanian/Palestinian (Levantine) food this is the spot!! The staff is so friendly and polite, very welcoming! The Mansaf is the best Mansaf I've ever had, every bite takes me back to my childhood in Jordan. I am obsessed, I want to eat here everyday! Their Kabsa is also amazing! You must try this restaurant, you will not regret it.“
“Honestly Great Food , Great Price, and Awesome Service. I had the Gyro and Greek Salad Combo . The owner was there and was friendly as well as the woman who took my order. This was a quiet and peaceful spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. Thank you to my friend who recommended it. They also are known for their Chicago Dogs so I've been told. I definitely recommend ? ?“
“I’ve literally never had better falafel in my life. This place was such a nice surprise, we chose it randomly because I was craving Mediterranean. The food was all absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was really cool and authentic, and the staff were so kind. Highly recommend and will absolutely go back!“
“John the Greek has always been the best place for a gyro!!!! Such a great laid back easy atmosphere with a family run Greek restaurant with absolutely the best food! I've eaten there dozens of times with my coworkers and it's always been consistent and delicious!! Highly recommend the gyro or chicken gyro. I'm sure their other authentic food is great too but I don't know much about other Greek foods so I'm not adventurous enough to try the other stuff lol.Parking: Huge plentiful parking lot“
“I absolutely love this place every time I come in. No matter busy or not, super great customer service, food is always amazing and you can't bet it being so clean and fresh when going in. I hope Demos is around for many many years to come. Thank you team for all you do and the love you put into our bodies!!“
“Delicious food, as always! Demo’s is a San Antonio classic! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. But today I came during dinner and ordered the regular size, original gyro, my dad got the gyro plate and a side of fries. The original gyro came with red onions, tzatziki, and a good heaping of beef/lamb shawarma on a thick, delicious, fluffy pita bread, and a good serving of French fries. The gyro plate came with a LOT of shawarma, Greek salad, 1 dolma, 4 pita slices, red onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki. It only came with 1 tzatziki, but extras are 50 cents each. They also have Mexican coke!“
“Yum!! The food was so delicious and fresh! I had the small greek salad with gyro meat and it was HUGE! My friend enjoyed the steal kabobs and rice. The pits bread is soft and warm. But the star of the show was the Baklava Ice Cream--don't leave without trying it!“
“Great food that is always fresh and cooked well. I've moved away from Texas, but visit often (every 3 months) and Demo's is always my first and last stop of my week long visit. I always order the deluxe, double meat gyro with fresh cut fries and a side of tzatziki sauce for dipping. I've been on a search for a comparable gyro in NE Ohio, but haven't had much luck finding anything that compares to the quality and value of Demo's.“
“Excellent and authentic middle eastern cuisine..Halal . Lamb , Beef, Chicken as Kabobs, shaved, are main dish choices. Numerous appetizers round out the offerings. Service is prompt, seating informal. AC can be a bit too much.. they cater as well. Large and Generous Pita bread is offered, Humus is delicious. Jerusalem Salad is of course fresh and healthy...“
“Always go here whenever visiting San Antonio since 2008. Great food, big portions, reasonably priced and BYOB. Was there when outside temp was in the 40's and they had the A/C crancked way down. Everyone was wearing their coats and hats while eating so it was pretty uncomfortable.“
“We got the giant pizza "20" and garlic bread. Pizza was really good, didn't really care for the garlic bread, it was ok, would I get it again,"no". Maybe the one with cheese topping... Price was good, for Superbowl ..it was for 3 to 4 people...“
“If you're craving great Mediterranean flavors, look no further than Dallah! From their perfectly seasoned grilled kebabs to their fresh and zesty salads, every dish bursts with deliciousness. The ambiance is inviting, the service is excellent, and the portions are generous.Kid-friendliness: Brought my 5 year old. She enjoyed the food too.“
