“My husband made dinner reservations here for my birthday and I’m so glad he did. Domingo is, hands down, one of the best restaurants we’ve dined at in San Antonio, and easily our favorite that’s right on the River Walk. Our server, Kelsey, was a delight and made our evening even better with her recommendations and top-notch service. Our favorites that we ordered were the Domingo Signature margarita, elote, seasonal agua fresca, and (it pictured) the star of our meal: the grilled flat iron steak. The entire plate was the kind of meal one has dreams about, and if anyone at Domingo ever considered taking it off the menu I may actually riot. Domingo will be a must-stop for us every time we’re in San Antonio. Thank you for making our getaway that much better.“

“Went to dinner before the Tobin show. New fall menu. The buttternut squash soup was delicious 😋 and served hot. Unfortunately the quinoa harvest salad with roasted beets, butternut squash, pepitas, and goat cheese was only greens…. Minus the other listed ingredients. Our waitress Brook was notified and said the cook staff that made the salad broke up with his girlfriend and sad! 😔 well we were sad and disappointed ☹️ and no compensation offered. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious. 😋 Hopefully no one else will get the same poor quality fall salad ! Beware ! 👻 trick or treat???!!!“

Great vibes, flavorful food, and solid drinks!

The crowd here is always great — good energy without being too wild. We ordered the lemon pepper and Cajun fried chicken wings, and honestly, the food didn’t even need extra seasoning. That’s how you know it was done right.

They had live music playing, which added to the experience without overpowering the conversation. Drinks were poured right, not watered down. Everything just hit the spot.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the China Grove area.“

“I would never had guessed the food here would be so good! We stopped on a lark while searching for a lunch spot. The special of the day was fish & chips or shrimp & chips for $12. My husband had the shrimp and I had the fish. Both servings were very generous! I wish I pictures but we just drove right in! Sodas were $2. Great service and great food!“

“This is such a cool place!!! I've loved jazz music since I was a teenager and jazz music venues are in short supply in San Antonio. I've been wanting to check this place out and finally got the opportunity to hear Wyatt Michael in person!! It was a fantastic evening of crooner standards by a voice that sounds uncannily like Frank Sinatra! Unbelievable! The house band was terrific! I love that it's a basement venue too, just like the old NY joints. It's intimate and fun! The staff are excellent and the whole experience was amazing! Highly recommended for jazz lovers of all ages!“

“Wow! Excellent experience. We joined last night for Miracle at the Esquire. Beautifully decorated, fun menu, excellent excellent service. We had a large group of 10 and our waiter was so attentive. We never lacked for drinks and never had to find our waiter. We have also been to Downstairs outside of the Christmas pop up and always received excellent service“

“Great, small bar. The bartenders are quick and well-trained. It’s a great place for a more intimate setting, not a great place if you’re looking to party. The bartenders make a good drink too, I’ve never felt shorted.

The infusion drinks are really good. I’d suggest the spicy tequila. If you like Jameson, try the sweet potato Jameson too.

Lastly, they don’t serve food, so eat before you go.“

“Nostalgic venue with great music but some drink prices are a bit extreme. I'm a big spender with a $100+ average bar tab, but $11 tequila shots with no other options is a bit excessive. It's just tequila guys, not fuckin' cocaine.“

The service was excellent and the food was awesome. I had the cabbage salad as an appetizer and the redfish for my dinner. Everything was delicious. Seth was an excellent bartender and despite the place being pretty busy, he and Marianna still kept checking on me in a gracious manner - not intrusive. Great night!“
