“My husband made dinner reservations here for my birthday and I’m so glad he did. Domingo is, hands down, one of the best restaurants we’ve dined at in San Antonio, and easily our favorite that’s right on the River Walk. Our server, Kelsey, was a delight and made our evening even better with her recommendations and top-notch service. Our favorites that we ordered were the Domingo Signature margarita, elote, seasonal agua fresca, and (it pictured) the star of our meal: the grilled flat iron steak. The entire plate was the kind of meal one has dreams about, and if anyone at Domingo ever considered taking it off the menu I may actually riot. Domingo will be a must-stop for us every time we’re in San Antonio. Thank you for making our getaway that much better.“

Great vibes, flavorful food, and solid drinks!

The crowd here is always great — good energy without being too wild. We ordered the lemon pepper and Cajun fried chicken wings, and honestly, the food didn’t even need extra seasoning. That’s how you know it was done right.

They had live music playing, which added to the experience without overpowering the conversation. Drinks were poured right, not watered down. Everything just hit the spot.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the China Grove area.“

“Went to dinner before the Tobin show. New fall menu. The buttternut squash soup was delicious 😋 and served hot. Unfortunately the quinoa harvest salad with roasted beets, butternut squash, pepitas, and goat cheese was only greens…. Minus the other listed ingredients. Our waitress Brook was notified and said the cook staff that made the salad broke up with his girlfriend and sad! 😔 well we were sad and disappointed ☹️ and no compensation offered. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious. 😋 Hopefully no one else will get the same poor quality fall salad ! Beware ! 👻 trick or treat???!!!“

“Overall, it's a really cool dive. It has a pretty diverse group of regulars that are all really friendly. The pool tables are decent but you kinda gotta share the space with the darts. Super good servers. It's a place you can make friends. I'm not a regular, but I have been there maybe 20 times in 3 years. Especially for the area, it's the place to go for decent company, decent drinks, at a decent price.“

“Me and my partner celebrated our anniversary here. It is a night we will never forget. My partner doesn't drink much, but the bartender helped find drinks he loved! We had so much fun having discussions with all of the servers and we even were gifted a glass of champagne each! When they ran out of a dish we wanted, one of the servers went back tot he kitchen, prepped something special just for us, and brought it out as a surprise! I cannot wait to go back. You might have a slight visual obstruction if you’re sitting at the far end near the restrooms but otherwise no bad seat in the house! A true gem at the Historic Pearl.“

The ambiance is lovely, warm, inviting and allows for intimate conversation.
The service was above and beyond, we did not want for anything, but, the server did not hover. Our meal was perfection, we both enjoyed the house salad, a beef tenderloin & mashed potatoes. We opted for different deserts, creme brulee & a chocolate mousse.

My husband remembered from his childhood how close the planes would fly while coming in to land at the airport so we decided to visit again. Best choice ever!
