“Went to dinner before the Tobin show. New fall menu. The buttternut squash soup was delicious 😋 and served hot. Unfortunately the quinoa harvest salad with roasted beets, butternut squash, pepitas, and goat cheese was only greens…. Minus the other listed ingredients. Our waitress Brook was notified and said the cook staff that made the salad broke up with his girlfriend and sad! 😔 well we were sad and disappointed ☹️ and no compensation offered. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious. 😋 Hopefully no one else will get the same poor quality fall salad ! Beware ! 👻 trick or treat???!!!“

“My husband made dinner reservations here for my birthday and I’m so glad he did. Domingo is, hands down, one of the best restaurants we’ve dined at in San Antonio, and easily our favorite that’s right on the River Walk. Our server, Kelsey, was a delight and made our evening even better with her recommendations and top-notch service. Our favorites that we ordered were the Domingo Signature margarita, elote, seasonal agua fresca, and (it pictured) the star of our meal: the grilled flat iron steak. The entire plate was the kind of meal one has dreams about, and if anyone at Domingo ever considered taking it off the menu I may actually riot. Domingo will be a must-stop for us every time we’re in San Antonio. Thank you for making our getaway that much better.“

“This bar is listed on Google’s San Antonio locals’ gem list and we decided to check it out. I can confirm this place provided a good experience and could see why it was on the list. Bartenders were very attentive, professional and friendly. Service was on point and they made sure you were doing ok and checking on you. The cocktails were well prepared and delicious. They have a big list of cocktails divided by the type of licor used as the base (bourbon, tequila, vodka, etc). The decor, atmosphere, and vibes were also interesting. Felt welcoming with a mix of some modern esthetic. They even had live music from local artists playing when we went there. Noise was at adequate levels, not too loud that prevented you from talking with other people. I can see the Rose being among the top spots in downtown San Antonio.“

Great vibes, flavorful food, and solid drinks!

The crowd here is always great — good energy without being too wild. We ordered the lemon pepper and Cajun fried chicken wings, and honestly, the food didn’t even need extra seasoning. That’s how you know it was done right.

They had live music playing, which added to the experience without overpowering the conversation. Drinks were poured right, not watered down. Everything just hit the spot.

The service at the bar was impeccable. Great recommendations on menu items and cocktails. Everything is so well thought out, from the ingredients to the ambiance. It's rare you eat at a restaurant and feel satisfied but not bloated and overstuffed. Highle recommend trying if you are vegetarian. So many dishes to choose from. But any of the dishes can add protein if desired, i.e. Salmon, chicken, etc.

Worth a visit and I'll certainly be back next time I'm in San Antonio. A true hidden gem!“
