“Worst traveling experience ever! Being stuck in San Antonio airport for a day and I was at my wits end until I came across this restaurant. The lady at the front desk, Laronza greeted us with welcome to beer code!. She had to have read my facial expressions becase as we walked up she was smiling and very cheerful to be working in a airport. There were only a few people ahead of us and she was like a captain or somewhat on a ship. Laronza asked our name and how many and wrote it down. She let us know that she would get us all sat down in a few minutes and went to cleaning tables very quickly. We sat up front near the bar area, the food was great, a bit too warm but this place was very inviting and the food was amazing!“

While the smells from the kitchen were good, the patty was a frozen, charbroiled patty and didn't taste fresh at all. Will go back but will probably avoid any of the burgers.“

“Came after lunch rush so had the place to ourselves, nice place friendly staff, ordered crispy banban with the signature sauce and an additional smokey hot sauce, cheese sticks and the slaw was complimentary. It was a mix of white and dark meat, it was tasty but one of the meats felt dry and they other was a little fatty. Over all tasted good and I don't have heartburn so that is a win!“

“My go-to burger place for a reliably great burger. Onion rings are so-so, really hit or miss, but the fries are fresh. Ordering is a tight fit, not much room while waiting to order at the register, but it's not that big of a deal. Staff is friendly and helpful, but the last few times I have been there, the person that took our cups for refills, switched them up. One person's diet coke got tea on top and vice-versa.. at least keep the cups straight. Next time I'll get my own refill. Otherwise, a great tasting burger, served quickly. I have never gotten a beer at lunch, but they have a huge selection of bottles and cans in coolers behind the counter.“

Pearl's Food Hall, generally, is very clean & well-kept, making it all the more inviting!

My first visit to Park Bar occurred on a Monday afternoon (during a holiday) with my boyfriend, and we had no trouble getting a table after placing our drink orders. They have a variety of options at Park Bar (e.g. my boyfriend ordered a lager, and I kept it simple with a fountain soda). I'm looking forward to returning to try some of their cocktails + seasonal offerings!“

The outdoor patio is spacious, full of character, and one of the best spots to enjoy a beautiful San Antonio evening!!

Each time I have visited, the staff have been incredibly friendly + welcoming, and the drinks have been fantastic. I absolutely LOVE their seasonal Prickly Pear Margarita. It comes in the cutest little mason jar glass (as pictured), and it's fresh & delicious!! I'm really looking forward to trying some of their food items in the future.

The overall vibe at La Tuna is exactly what you would hope for from a neighborhood icehouse. Whether you're meeting up with friends, watching a San Antonio Spurs game, or just looking for a great place to unwind, La Tuna is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!!!“

“Been here 3 times in a weeks time, love that it's never full of drunken people acting ridiculous, music isn't blaring, pool tables are always open, so are the darts, they have a bunch of games and that quarter drop machine, my favorite! They have so seriously cheap beers, happy hour or after, drinks and shots of the day, it's on the bus line and close to my fiance's work! “This was such a pleasant visit. We had a group of 8 including one vegan. The menu didn’t have much on the vegan side, so the chef came out and offered to make what ever she wanted. The chef crafted up a beautiful bowl of cooked veggies with corn tortillas and salsa. Aside from the cook, our waiter (Daniel) was super knowledgeable and helped with many drink and food recommendations, was tentative, and kind. This was such a wonderful experience, I can’t wait to come back!“
