Bracken Store and Ice House in Bracken, TX is a cozy, traditional Texas "Ice House" style restaurant with a wooden bar and pool tables. They offer popular food truck dining on weekends and have outdoor space for events. The friendly staff, like Mary the bartender, provide top-notch service. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with friendly people and delicious, fresh food made to order. They do not have food options beyond what is available that day, and they serve only beer, wine, and seltzers, not liquor. The venue is perfect for enjoying good food, live entertainment, and dancing in a welcoming environment. Despite a small hiccup with an undercooked chicken sandwich, they quickly resolved the issue by offering a complimentary cheeseburger. The place has a character-filled setting that appeals to those looking for a chill spot to enjoy good music, cold drinks, and friendly company. It is a great place to relax, have fun, and feel comfortable.
