“I started out with a cocktail that was spicy and a bit sweet. Our waiter Lorenzo was not only professional and courteous ,he was quite knowledgeable about the menu and very very handsome! You've got to try the prosciutto wrapped around a tender piece of grilled chicken and stuffed with goat cheese and spinach with a honey glaze. It was very good. Will definitely go there again“
“Postino has quickly become one of our favorite spots to come hangout after work. Cindy, Tommy, Matthew and Isaiah are truly the best and make every time we come in amazing. Definitely suggest getting the chicken skewers and the Brie, prosciutto and fig panini. <3“
“Thank you, Freweini for making our evening so enjoyable. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. We had French Onion soup, crab, filet and asparagus with hollandaise. Each and every item was perfectly seasoned and prepared to our annoyingly picky standards. Best meal out we have had in a long time.“
“Contacted the Board Couple on Sunday afternoon after finding out the hotel I had booked had zero interest in helping me. The Board Couple was closed but responded to an email almost immediately and followed up with a phone call. All Monica wanted to know was how could she help?I explained that I wanted a nice board with a bottle of good Chardonnay, 2 REAL wine glasses and a cork screw all delivered to a downtown hotel prior to my Wife and I arriving the following afternoon, Monday.. We were flying in to celebrate our 24th anniversary..There answer? Done! And what a beautiful board!Quality was great, service was better!Thank you Board Couple! Check them out, you wont be disappointed!“
“Great spot to relax and grab a drink or a quick bite. Tandem offers coffee, beer as well as sandwiches, sweets and more. Great place to come with your kids and pets as there is plenty of outdoor seating. Service is always great and friendly!“
“What a great wine bar. Tons of selection and a great small intimate feel to it. Coaches and tables. I can't comment on food as we ate at Meadow first (same owners). Give it a 1-2 try and eat at Meadow and grab some wine at Vintage, perfect date night. I promise you won't be disappointed.“
“Lori was so hospitable and gave us an amazing experience. She even turned on the outdoor lights so that we could walk around and take pictures after dinner. She recommended an excellent wine and put us on to a new favorite dessert - sticky toffee pudding. This place checks all the boxes and the winery cats were a bonus.“
“I love a good urban winery, and ReRooted210 fits the bill perfectly! Located right next to the Hemisfair parking garage, ReRooted is a little slice of heaven! My daugher in law and I shared a bottle of Riverwalk red wine ( you get a discount on your next bottle if you bring the bottle back for a refill). They do have food, but we didn't order anything since we had just had lunch. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. I am so glad that ReRooted is close to us...saves us a ride to Fredricksburg!“
“?The only thing I would change is the attitude of the guy who was in the window for drinks. He had the ugliest attitude and RBF when I greeted him and then at the end of our purchase …. Gave us prayer hands and said enjoy…. ???… how are you gunna be rude and have an ugly attitude and then throw prayer hands at the end…… anyways, hope he finds another job cuz I would have enjoyed that place so much more without the fake namaste attitude lol?AND THE DRINKS? Overpriced … 2 drinks came out to roughly $35…. For a kombucha and a 10mg THC drink…. -_-✨However, the ladies at the food truck though… THEY WERE ALL COOL AF. And the food was ON POINT! :)✨“
“We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. One of the best wine menus we have found in SA. Wonderful service with friendly staff. We love to enjoy a glass or 2 of wine outside on the patio. We always get a small bowl of their mixed Spanish olives to pair with our wine.“
“The pizza dough was chewy on the inside, lots of toppings and they were very fresh.Service was good, the place was busy for dinner, but we walked in and got seated without any problems. We order the Americana pizza and the prosciutto crudo pizza, they were both great! The pizza came pretty fast also.Overall great pizzeria!Parking: Paid parking $4 an hour near the park about a block away“
“Friendly neighborhood coffeehouse. I love discovering what new sweet and savory treats they have available. This time I wasn’t able to snag a delicious kolache but next time fo’sho. Pizza was on the menu and this slice of Margherita was as big as my face! The staff are super sweet and very approachable. Good vibes overall and everyone was definitely radiating positivity.“
“I Highly recommend this place! The Chicken Tortilla Soup is AMAZING and the Chicken Saltimboca is OUTSTANDING!!! Some of the BEST food I've tasted in San Antonio! I'll definitely eat here again. Kudos to Bryony for her AWESOME service!“
“This gem in San Antonio, a true local treasure, offers both indoor and outdoor dining options. The food here is consistently delicious, with every dish being a delightful experience. While its unassuming style might not suggest a five-star establishment, it truly deserves such a rating for its quality. They serve some of the best sandwiches and meals around, making it a fantastic choice. It's a place cherished by families for years, and I highly recommend it for its great food and welcoming atmosphere.“
“Excellent food. We had the lobster bisque, a BBQ shrimp flatbread and street tacos. It was wonderful. Our server was great. The sound level was low and we could talk and hear each other perfectly. We had an 1130 lunch. I will come back again. Highly recommend.“
“I tried this pizza at a party where they only had thin sliced cheese, cheese is the only kind I like, it was the best pizza I have ever had! Normally thin sliced isn't too good to me, however I will be going here next time I eat pizza!“
“We visited Flemings Steakhouse at the Quarry. We started with a blueberry lemon drop martini which was a great choice. For our appetizer, we went with their crab cakes which were super delicious. My husband also ordered the lobster bisque which was creamy rich and had generous portions of lobster. However, when it came time for the main course, there was a slight hiccup. I ordered the ribeye with a lobster tail, while my husband opted for the ribeye with crab legs. Unfortunately, my steak had an off taste that seemed like spoilage after just a couple of bites. After confirming with my husband that the steak did indeed have an unusual flavor, I decided to bring it to the attention of our waiter, Josh. I must commend the waiter for his prompt and gracious response. Without hesitation, he arranged for a replacement steak to be prepared. The second steak was a vast improvement. I am not one to send food back so I felt bad but I also didn’t want to get sick. Throughout this experience, the staff, including which I believe may have been the head chef and manager, demonstrated a high level of attentiveness and professionalism. Their genuine concern for our satisfaction was evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our meal.We finished our meal with their foster banana bread which was good.“
“I can't imagine anyone giving less than 5 stars for their experience at this restaurant. I've been eating there for years and would rate the food, the atmosphere and the service 6 stars if I were able to do that. Going again tomorrow evening and can't wait!“
“We love this little hidden gem. Gorgeous inside and a great little patio that’s welcoming and cool once the sun starts to set. Reasonably priced, and highly recommend the Brie and Mushroom pizza. Best we’ve ever had. The staff is wonderful too.“
“We’ve been here three times and each time it gets better and more impressive. The service is on point and all of the food is amazing!Very few places in San Antonio where you can get gourmet food like this at reasonable prices. Don’t forget the desserts, they are out of this world.Highly recommended.“
“Really great food! I got the sesame chicken and it was cooked very well and more than filling! Very satisfying food! Definitely coming back! The service was very good too and I loved talking to the workers. Great ambient vibe and fun atmosphere.“
“Little Death is usually one of our favorite San Antonio spots due to the great wine selection and incredible customer service. However, today we were met with an employee who quite rudely told us we were not allowed to taste wines before committing to a glass. This had never been the case in the past, and we ended up disappointed with the recommendation and our selections. Hopefully, we hit it on an off-day and will have a better experience during our next visit!“
“I had a great experience at Park Bar. The bartender was able to make me the classic margarita with less sugar (he called it a skinny). I am a big fan of the agave wine sub for tequila. My drink was super refreshing and absolutely delicious. It was very busy at the bar, but they have multiple lines so I didn't have to wait long. They also have serve yourself water coolers stationed here! Oh, my bartender also filled my cup up beyond the max... very generous with the pour. I picked it up and a bit sloshed over. His response: "oh, I overfilled it, but that isn't a problem."“
“Great food, service, and wines albeit airport prices. Would give 5 stars but the check recommendation for % tip factors in sales tax. I do not add additional tip for the tax. Beware as other establishments are doing this more often. It adds up. Cheers!“
“If you like wine and karaoke this is the place to be on Thursday. From the moment you walk in the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. It was our first time going there and they walked us through the menu, told us the best drinks to try for our taste and let us sample many different wines. The food selection also compliments the wine great as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. When we went they also had karaoke with a wide selection and everyone was very support even if you couldn't sing well. The staff also joined int to sing also. It's a great after work spot or just a quick break spot as well it's really a hidden gum“
“The bartender was great! Made an excellent drink. The decor is exactly my cup of tea! A completely classical, chill vibe!I don't know if there is food actually served inside here, but... a cpl doors over outside is a chef who makes awesome food!“
“One of my favorite places in the area. The wine is very good and always different. The owner really adds a personal touch to this place by greeting his guests, Recommending wines, and engaging in conversation. Christian, AJ, and Dannette always take the best care of us. They all really know their wines and make great suggestions.“
“Went there when I was visiting San Antonio with my boyfriend and I can say that this is the best pizza I’ve ever had!! The service, atmosphere, and everything was amazing. I loved the pistachio tiramisu and I don’t even like pistachio. I would definitely travel 600 miles just to eat at this place. 100% recommended!!“
“The only reason I am not rating this place perfect is only because nothing is perfect. The atmosphere and vibe of the staff is truly awesome. The servers (Crystal Cortez) was attentive and quick with her service while maintaining and professional and friendly demeanor. The chefs (Chef William and chef Camiño) at SoFrio are masters at their craft. The food is incredibly good while having some of the best prices for a restaurant downtown. This has easily become a favorite place for me to get some award winning food and drinks. If you have not been here, PLEASE do yourself a favor and hurry up!!! You DO NOT have to stay at the hotel to eat there!!!!“
“These are the best pizzas in San Antonio. The flavor and freshness is exactly like Italy. It's exceptional food. Where Dough falls slightly short is their staff are hit and miss. Sometimes superb. Sometimes snobby. By the latter I mean they have a superior attitude which is off putting. Given we're all equal no staff should act superior or condescending. When the staff are good this is a great experience. I've taken friends from out of town multiple times. It's a higher end pizza joint with some terrific options. Staffing is such a challenge these days but it's paramount to the reputation of a business. Whilst Fought tends to serve a more affluent clientele they ought to train staff not to act superior because they're just wait staff and having an attitude is off putting. They said; the food is terrific and if you get lucky the staff can be friendly. It's not my favorite restaurant in SA but it definitely has the best pizza. You'll pay more for it and because it's so fresh it won't keep. But you'll get a great meal and it's ideal for a special occasion also. They have vegetarian options and a good wine list. The truffle salad is sensational. I've never eaten a better pizza in SA.“
“Everything was great. However we were a bit let down as one of our favorite options the beet smoked salmon was out of stock. We needed to order alternatives that were not our first choice. Recommend a sign or something on the menu to indicate what's out of stock before ordering.“
“Delicious! I really enjoyed this place and what they had to offer. Food was decent and good!Service was good, waitress was great! Very attentive and respectful.Food was good, nothing super special but it hit the spot!Reason for four starts is the fact the seating is iffy and rather cold. The heaters are okay. The chairs and tables are wobbly.“
“Came here for an anniversary sometime last year, I forgot to ever write a review! The service and atmosphere was great, though empty at the time we went in. I got the mushroom risotto and was IN LOVE with it. Dessert was wonderful as well, and while a little pricey I definitely think this has to be one of the better Italian places in San Antonio!“
“D’juan!!! Thank you for providing a phenomenal anniversary experience for my husband and I. The dry aged steak was impeccable in every way from the crispy crust, to the whipped butter garlic topping, finishing with the (chosen) medium-rare melt in your mouth middle. The whipped loaded mashed potato’s were so rich and cheesy I had to keep taking breaks, might I add complements to the chef for using cast iron because it really brought all of the flavors together. Again, thank you D’juan, from Patrick and I ☺️“
“Had a lovely lunch with the family here. We decided to eat outside because it was such a lovely day. The birds also thought it was a lovely day and tried a couple times to steal my husband's fries. It was very entertaining. Overall we had a lovely time and throughly enjoyed our meal and the service we received.“
“My boyfriend and I found this place before going to a concert and we got to enjoy the vibe before 10 pm. I enjoyed the concept of the bar. The drinks were very good and I was obsessed with “The great Wave Off Kanagawa”.Another thing to add is that there was an elevator to accommodate my boyfriend which was really nice. We will definitely come again!“
“Absolutely the best Brunch I’ve had! My lady and I came out here this morning, staff is super friendly, you order and pay through a QR code so not much human interaction. Food is absolutely amazing, got a whole bottle of sparkling wine with orange juice for $20 or so buck. 6-7 mimosas. Will definitely be returning every weekend!“
“I do not live in San Antonio, but I was traveling through and stopped at a local motel for the night. I stopped in here on a Saturday night by myself. They had the Spurs game going on a large projection screen, and many people were there to watch the Spurs game. I had two drinks and was here for a couple of hours. The bar staff was friendly and served drinks quickly. After the basketball game concluded, a DJ set up, and the bar became more of a nightclub. The vibes were excellent, and I enjoyed the music. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Southtown area of San Antonio.“
“I absolutely loved the food and atmosphere of this restaurant! The orange juice was so delicious! I ordered the sweet biscuit flights as an appetizer and I loved the biscuits so much I ordered the biscuit French toast next! That was so good and not too sweet. I definitely enjoyed my brunch and will be coming back for more! ?“
“Food - great. Every single item was seasoned and cooked perfectly Atmosphere / Ambience - great Staff - great Waiter & assistants - great. Will was our waiter; he was extremely helpful, polite, and provided exceptional service Restroom - extremely clean“
“I ordered the small tortilla soup and a frozen strawberry margarita. The tortilla soup tasted good, but it didn’t have enough chicken in it. :(. Not an even chicken/broth ratio. The margarita was really yummy. I’m a lightweight so I felt buzzed after drinking half of it. The service is really good. Everyone there is very friendly.“
“Several friends recommended this restaurant and we can't thank them enough. The food was fabulous! We started out with a combination appetizer of shrimp in a garlic sauce, calamari, and artichokes. Then came the Caesar salad and an entree of the Shrimp Paesano. My husband and I split everything and we still had food left over to take home. Our waiter was Jimmy John and he was so knowledgeable, charming, delightful, and made our lunch even better.“
“We love this addition to our favorite place in San Antonio; The Pearl. This restaurant has never failed to provide delicious food and drinks every time we go.We usually go with the "curated dinner" which provides a four-course meal. The different dishes change every time we go, and they never fail to hit the mark.Parking: Parking on the streets or next to the Pearl usually costs money.“
