Dough Pizzeria Napoletana Reviews
First dining experience in San Antonio was right across the street from the hotel, a place called DOUGH….it’s a double entendre of sorts, the founder is a man named Doug Horn, so it’s effectively his first name plus the initial of his last……it’s also an Italian Restaurant, of which dough is a prime staple and fitting for such an establishment….Doug and wife Lori founded this business yearning for an experience to rival those of southern Italy, with the Caprese themed...read full review
$72 for 3 12inch pizzas and it was the most bland, poor excuse of pizza. Absolutely disappointing
Star of the menu is burrata, even though burrata is Puglian, not Napolitano. But it is delicious. We got the three ball sampler, as well as the Margherita pizza. Doesn’t sound like much, but it will make three meals for both of us. Ridiculously yummy.

Dough Pizzeria Napoletana offers a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service, with incredibly kind and attentive waitstaff. The restaurant is family-friendly, featuring a great outdoor park connected for kids. Gluten-free options like bread and pizza are highly recommended, and the burrata is a must-try dish. The pizza is super fresh, including the gluten-free crust, which is delicious. The large outdoor patio is a lovely spot for dining, though guests should be mindful of the birds in the trees above. This sit-down restaurant is perfect for guests with dietary restrictions. Customers have enjoyed the delicious pizza and salad, noting that the staff is very accommodating to families. The head chef, Erica, is especially praised for her friendliness and for accommodating special requests, such as pasta and Alfredo for children. Reservations are advised, especially during busy times, as the wait can be significant, and larger groups may need to call ahead. The outdoor seating can be nice, but some guests have found it a bit chilly. Overall, Dough Pizzeria Napoletana is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family and friends.
