“We had lunch with friends here today and I was blown away!!! Everything was impeccable! The service was beyond amazing and the food…..what can I say, it was AMAZING! The Insalata Caprese was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I had the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana and my husband had Fettuccine di Parma with shrimp. The portions are huge!!! Can’t wait to go back!! The owner can and visited our table as well as everyone else’s!!! This place is a must!!!“

“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. “Came here on a whim and discovered THE BEST Italian food I’ve ever had. We loved every single thing that we ordered. The service was great and it was so refreshing to see the staff get along and enjoy their jobs. They were so welcoming and almost even loving lol. It really felt like a little family. “Had an incredible evening at Battalion tonight celebrating my wife's birthday!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and this was a perfect opportunity for a date night. For starters we had the spinach dumplings and the the meatballs, both were delicious but my favorite were the dumplings by far. For our mains we had the lamb chops and the tenderloin, both incredible. For sides we shared the green beans, the cavatappi, and the manacotti pasta. We were so delighted with all of it and almost too full for dessert....but still sampled the smores panna cotta and the tiramisu. Our server was over the top friendly and helpful, assisted with drink selections and never left us waiting or wanting for anything. (I am so sorry I forgot his name, but he even took a picture of us to celebrate the evening!) Thank you for a wonderful evening and a fantastic dinner!! We'll be back again for sure!!“

“Just picked up a Supreme pizza w/a large salad. Our pizza was absolutely delicious! It came with bread, dipping sauce,extra dressing and all the extras I could have taken it to the park to enjoy if it wasn’t so cold outside. 1st time ordering out has been such a positive experience I’ll definitely consider it again when I can’t get out. “What a gorgeous afternoon we had at Parsanos. The atmosphere is beautiful and the decor is amazing. Our waiter was exceptional and the food was delicious. One of the best afternoons we have had anywhere. I highly recommend this restaurant hidden in a beautiful tree line area. The Italian food is delicious and well presented.“

“This was our first visit to this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. We started off with Calamari, and it was great. Not chewy, but lightly breaded and the marinara was great. My wife had the Moscato and loved it. The house salad was really good and the ranch dressing was in house and delicious. My wife ordered the chicken Alfredo, and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. Both plates were absolutely amazing. They even brought us a sample of the lasagna. The ricotta was just perfect, the right amount of cheese and sauce, with that extra flame on top of cheese to give it that amazing look and it was heaven. The interior was great and cozy, it was quiet with light music, the decor was a nice touch as well. My wife decided that's our new date night location and anniversary location. If you haven't tried it, please stop by and give it a try. You'll leave full and satisfied.“

“First time to San Antonio, first time to Paesanos, and we were delighted by the experience! I have a gluten allergy and I know when a place gets such high reviews on my gluten free app I have to try it. Darren made sure we had a wonderful evening. They had a number of pasta and pizza options, but I went with one of their flagship pasta dishes considering it's what helped put this place on the map in the late 1960s. Considering it was a lemon pasta dish I was kind of skeptical because most I've had in the past felt so lemon forward that's all I could notice. This dish was light and elegant, I enjoyed it so much! The shrimp were cooked perfectly. My husband had the stuffed shells which he enjoyed immensely. He really liked the bread and olive oil as well before our entrees arrived. Anyway, on top of the delicious food we had a very attentive waiter in Darren, who not only had a lot of knowledge of the restaurant's history, but that of San Antonio as a whole. We had a great time talking with him and learning about the city. It was a great experience and we will be back when we're in town!“

“This place is absolutely amazing. We went here for our cousins 15th birthday. He came in from out of town and requested the best Shrimp fettuccini Alfredo and after weeks of research we found this place. From the moment we placed our first call until we actually went to the establishment and left, everything was beyond perfect. The service was amazing and the food was the best Italian food we've had in San Antonio (I've lived here for 15+years). “Large party of approximately 40 people, for a baby shower. Unfortunately we were only permitted to order from the appetizer list, light dishes, and dessert list. I wanted the salmon that was on the main entree list, so I had artichoke dip instead.
Each tablet had their own waiter but every guest was given separate checks, even children. Ben was supposed to combine tickets for an adult and a child. It wasn't noticed until after the adult and child left. I called the adult because they needed to verify what dishes she paid for. While verifing the last 4 digits of the cc, Ben apologized to me for not combining the tickets. I paid because, even though it was the waiters fault, I knew it was a very hectic situation. Overall everything was great, except not being able to order from the main menu.“

“We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. Even beer and wine is locally sourced. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE WHEN IN SAN ANTONIO.“
