“On 02/09/2026, my wife and I dined at Signature in San Antonio, Texas. We were overwhelmed by the service and the menu. Our server Catherine guided us through all four courses. We were amazed by the freshness of all the ingredients and the presentation. The quail was exquisite. The beet salad was to die for, and the venison melted in your mouth. The fried oysters and crispy salmon were amazing. All the staff were very attentive, but I must give high praise to our server Catherine, who made our special evening even more special. “I will be going back. I went to this restaurant with some of my friends and we had a great time. Keith was our waiter. He showed us exceptional customer service. He brought us this fantastic Moscato and he’s very good with recommending dishes as well as drinks. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. The food was excellent. I loved the salmon dish! “Kumo is an elegant fusion of Mexican and Asian ingredients served omakase style in an intimate setting. Inside Kumo’s signature boxcar, you’ll sit at small tables built for two and carefully served by the kitchen staff and chefs. The dishes are one to three bite portions and are perfectly prepared to deliver as much flavor as possible in those bites. The ingredients are refined to speak volumes to your taste buds. The results are dishes that dance between traditional excellence and experimental ecstasy. The food is presented beautifully and begs to be photographed. Compared to its established big brother, Mixtli, Kumo is edgier, more playful, and seems to boldly integrate unique ingredients and flavors without apology. The few dishes that had Asian ingredients and flavor were my favorites and I look forward to trying more of these unique fusions in the future. The only way to improve upon Kumo’s boxcar-omakase setting would be an option to sit at a bar directly facing the kitchen so interested guests could closely watch the magic happen. Kumo is a restaurant where you experience new flavors and likely your next favorite dish. Its menu is unpredictable and ever-changing and every bite memorable. And that’s what I like. The trip to this culinary cloud is highly recommended. 5 stars.“

“Had a very pleasant evening with 4 other family members. Cuisine is a bit unique but all meals were very good and the service was outstanding. It is a real pleasure to sit in a restaurant and have a conversation without having to yell over the din and ask tablemates to repeat themselves.“

“Had an early dinner (5pm) and dined inside on a Tuesday. We wanted to beat any dinner rush that may have shown up. This was my first visit, and with the food they offered, I’d expect they’d have lots of people rushing there for dinner. I had the Pad Thai, which was excellent, but can we talk about their guacamole salad starter?!?! So it’s a bowl of guac with homemade chips and sides of pico (which for me was better than any pico I’d ever had before), a second pico-like concoction made with mango (I was blown away by how delicious it was), and a red salsa (which seemed like a blend of spicy and sweet….so good). Let me put it this way, it’s 11:00pm, I’m getting into bed and I’m still thinking of the food at Pam’s Patio Kitchen. The staff was super nice as well. This hidden little gem really left an impression on me! Can’t wait to go back!“
