Wyatt and I came in to celebrate our anniversary (and casually said it was our anniversary too because… why not 😌), and BABY—within FIVE minutes, Jake came back out with cake and ice cream like he had been waiting his whole life for this moment. No hesitation. No “let me check.” Just straight excellence.

Now let’s talk about Valery —because when I say “bartender in chief,” I mean she is running the whole experience like a CEO. She is locked in. The level of detail, the attentiveness, the way she listens AND observes… it’s giving elite. You don’t even have to ask—she already caught it. And on top of that, the conversation.. 10/10. Engaging, natural, not forced. The kind of energy that makes you sit longer than you planned and order one more round just to keep the vibe going.
Jake—so kind, so smooth with it, and clearly about the guest experience. That quick thoughtful gesture is the stuff you don’t forget. It wasn’t just service—it felt personal.
And THAT is the difference.
They didn’t just serve drinks—they made us feel celebrated. Seen. Taken care of. Like we walked in as guests and left as family. “I love this place. Sometimes I come here to get work done. It has a beautiful, intentional aesthetic. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The music is always vibey. It feels like a New York aesthetic, well, with a lot more real estate than what nyc could offer. It’s a really beautiful space that feels like a fun outing. Their coffee is always always on point. As a bonus, it’s across the street from my favorite food (Little Deli). I love the hand soaps they have in the bathroom. Just a gem!!“

“Finally made it to Cape Bottle Room and it lived up to the hype. The South African wines were so good, way more interesting than the American bottles I usually drink. The selection is unreal and the playlist is chef’s kiss. Everyone working was the sweetest too. Cozy banquettes, that gorgeous wall of bottles, warm lighting… vibes are a 10/10. “My family stumbled onto Mandola’s ItalianKitchen in Odessa Florida. What a delightful restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. We were greeted at the door by the manager, Chris. He explained how the restaurant ordering and seating worked. We ordered at the counter, where the young woman patiently took our order, clarifying along the way. The wine selection for the casual environment was impressive. We were given a table number and we found a seat. Immediately someone brought warm focaccia bread and Italian oil to dip it in. Our food arrived at our table surprisingly quick. The portions were huge (luckily we were provided to-go boxes when we were ready to leave) The servers were friendly and professional. The chefs were visible as they prepared the food. Our used dishes were removed promptly as we finished one course after another. Then Chris, the manager who first greeted us, came to our table to ensure that our experience had been not just satisfactory, but excellent. Which it was! We are putting Mandola’s Odessa on our favorite restaurant list for when we return to Tampa. Thank you!“

“Really nice spot with a bright, welcoming interior and large panoramic windows. They also have a great outdoor seating area, which is especially nice when the weather is good.

The prices are definitely on the higher side, and I found the drinks to be a bit overpriced. That said, the staff was friendly and the service was quick.

“De nada is amazing!!!!! If you are looking for a Mexican place look no further and come to de nada. The queso, the salsa trio, and the Barbacoa taco… I would sell my first born for the barbacoa taco. The margs are very fresh and strong. Our server Jorge is the best server in the game. I would 10/10 recommend this fine establishment!“

“Cute vibes, and a different take on Korean food.

Food: we had the fried chicken, seasonal salad, and the wagyu. When looking around.. sooo many people had the fried chicken and our server told us they were known for their fried chicken and wagyu steak- which is why we got both. The fried chicken was a bit of a letdown for me. It was dry, wasn’t that crispy, and the flavor wasn’t out of this world- just tasted like toasted seaweed because of the nori flakes. Idk… just didn’t get the hype for $36 for a very small half bird. The wagyu was good tho, if not a bit sweet. Think bulgogi sauce marinaded. They had a great dipping sauce, but the meat wasn’t particularly tender and I wasn’t even asked what temperature I like my steak. It came out med rare. The kimchi that accompanied it was a cantaloupe kimchi.. which was ok, not my fav. The side pear salad tho was delicious, but still.. $18 for a side of pears and cucumbers.

Atmosphere was good. Very vibey and cute.

We have frequented Capital Grill several times and it has consistently been great - upscale, superior attentive service, great food, lovely atmosphere - truly best of the best. And then, they outdid themselves. We took a good friend there for an 80th bday celebration. First, a few fun decorations on the table, some great service by the lone bar tender (I think his name was Ralph!), who was amazing even on his own. After we ate, to my great surprise a cake appeared, beautifully decorated with her name - what an amazing thing to do for someone who has survived 80 years! To chef, Ken it was delicious. The patio is especially nice, with a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to enjoy a drink, some good food, and some fun people-watching. There’s a great energy to the place, and the patio is ideal for taking it all in while enjoying a cocktail.

“An absolute gem now as much as it ever has been. If you haven’t been since they reopened: why? What are you doing???

Derek is back as CDC and his food is even more impressive and outstanding than you enjoyed it last. (You may remember him from dai due or bar Toti recently.) Please come have a date night here with friends or family or even by your lonesome.

The new space is just so wonderful - it’s similar to what we all loved and remember but in a new and lovely way (better than you could even imagine!). All of the nuance and charm is alive and well.

Shout out to Robin and our sever Niya (not sure how to spell her name but major kudos). Food was stellar, wine was killer, vibes immaculate.

If you’re going in late summer, highly recommend: fried green tomatoes, mezze, fried mushrooms, as always the steak frites, and anything Robin suggests to drink.
