“Love love love this place. Had takeout once and it was good. But came today for happy hour and had the best experience. Jess was our server and was incredibly attentive - you could also tell she really knew the menu which was so helpful. The pasta with mussels, the wings, and the mound of parm over the fingerling potatoes were all so good. Can’t wait to come back!“
“Wonderful selection of books and plenty of cozy places to sit, read and enjoy a drink.“

“Best random discovery I have ever made in my life thus far. Incredible service by Sienna and Matt. The list and offerings - phenomenal. I wish I still lived in the Austin area so I could go here as much as possible. For now, I just have to plan my quarterly trips to Austin to include this gem of a wine mecca. If you love wine, go here, ask for recommendations, and just go with the vibes. You will not be disappointed.
I was in town for our company's annual conference. I don't remember anything we met and talked about in office - I just remember the joy of my palate when I sat at the bar here!
(PS: Matt, Sienna - thank you for your grace and humour to a drunk corporate girl who lost her card 10,000 times, all the time it was in my wallet....look forward to stopping in and just skipping the corporate happy hour tabs next time. <3)“

“Had a great experience at Bar AC with Jerome being our bartender. He took extra time and care to make our favorite cocktails and even recommended some he thought we would like. Tried the blood orange margarita and it was excellent. Thank you Jerome for making our Friday evening that much more special.“

“Five stars! Can't wait to join the club at Cape Bottle Room's NEW SAN ANTONIO spot on Broadway-these South African wines have me hooked. Arrived at the East Austin original and instantly felt at home in that clean, minimalist vibe, all focused on beautiful wines that ditch the snobbery for straight-up joy. Sipped a crisp Chenin Blanc flight while chatting with the super knowledgeable staff-no hard sell, just pure passion for vibrant flavors. And here's the real win: Every single bottle had a clear price tag right there, no guesswork or shady markups. In a city where too many wine bars play games with pricing, this transparency is gold-gives me total confidence knowing I'm getting fair treatment, same as everyone else. Snapped some pics and grabbed a bottle of a bold Pinotage for the road, under forty bucks. If you're in San Antonio make this your go-to-local, honest, oh-so-refreshing. Cheers! 🍷“

“Fantastic little wine bar tucked away in Tarrytown. Wine selection is top notch (says my wife), and as a beer drinker I always appreciate their small-but-mighty draft beer selection from local brewery Hold Out. And you can’t beat the combo with Allday pizza! We love enjoying nice afternoons on their cozy patio.“

“The staff is always very friendly and welcoming, the coffee is good, and I like the interior. I’m only taking one star off because the wine is extremely marked up, and once you notice it, it’s hard to unsee. For example, an Albe Barolo is priced at $75+, while the exact same bottle can be found at Whole Foods or Total Wine for under $40.
Other than that, this place is great.“

“This location of the Grove is easy to miss, but hard to forget. Great patio, on both side of the building. Parking is plentiful but a bit tight. The staff is excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The menu is a nice balance of having a nice variety but not being the cheesecake factory. It's called the grove, so they have a nice wine list. We did a flight and it was a nice way to get a few different options without going crazy, blended very well.“

“First of all we need to caveat this review with it being Valentines day and it was very busy and probably not a typical dinner night. With that being said the servers and attendants appeared confused and without proper order. We had 4 waiters ask us if we had ordered. Did they not get tables assigned? We ordered a first order of drinks and they were ok, yet our second order were perfect. Consistency was not there on the drinks. The dinner was great yet they did not ask my wife how she wanted her steak and it had to go back to get cooked to her liking. The attendant primarily assigned to us was incredible given how busy he was. Some of the attendants were underdressed for a formal restaurant and took away from the ambience. I would not rate a low end restaurant this hard but to be pricing food the way you do, more is expected. Overall they did good. I know how hard a valentines dinner night can be.“

“Cute vibes, and a different take on Korean food.
Food: we had the fried chicken, seasonal salad, and the wagyu. When looking around.. sooo many people had the fried chicken and our server told us they were known for their fried chicken and wagyu steak- which is why we got both. The fried chicken was a bit of a letdown for me. It was dry, wasn’t that crispy, and the flavor wasn’t out of this world- just tasted like toasted seaweed because of the nori flakes. Idk… just didn’t get the hype for $36 for a very small half bird. The wagyu was good tho, if not a bit sweet. Think bulgogi sauce marinaded. They had a great dipping sauce, but the meat wasn’t particularly tender and I wasn’t even asked what temperature I like my steak. It came out med rare. The kimchi that accompanied it was a cantaloupe kimchi.. which was ok, not my fav. The side pear salad tho was delicious, but still.. $18 for a side of pears and cucumbers.
Atmosphere was good. Very vibey and cute.
There’s a parking garage connected and they validate parking.“

“This place is a South Austin gem. It’s thoughtfully tucked into an apartment complex, so you might miss it if you’re just driving by, but once you find it, you realize how special it is and why you see so many regulars in here. There’s an old-school Austin spirit, but it still feels completely modern and elevated in quality and taste.
I love sitting at the bar and writing. Everyone who works here is really cool and thoughtful, and the owners are truly good people. It kinda has a modern Cheers energy with creatives, business people, and apartment locals all crossing paths and talking to each other.
At night, the vibe shifts into a romantic spot for dinner and natural wine. It’s hard to find places that do all of this so well, especially in South Austin so I feel really lucky to have this spot in the neighborhood.“
“very nice place, ambiance and great service.“
“This place is a gem. Found it by accident when making a wrong turn near Lohmans crossing and 620 in to a strip mall. Not just quality wine at a decent price, but the vibe and atmosphere was phenomenal, the place is just comforting. Super chill and fun server too, I can’t wait to go back.“

“Feral Housewife had a delicious line up of wines and the cutest pups greeting you as soon as you walk in.
I tasted a flight of reds and the Fumé Blanc (their smoky-style Sauvignon Blanc), which was super refreshing.
But my absolute favorites were the frozé and the Cab Sauv. They even have to-go frozés that are perfect for coolers, lake trips, and boat days. Total game-changer.
They also host karaoke nights, which I’m already planning to come back for. Great wine, great energy, and an all-around must-visit spot. Highly recommend!“

“Alif was such a great server and made our night at Rosie’s Wine Bar even better. He was super friendly, fun to talk to, and really knew his stuff when it came to wine—we got to try a bunch of different ones and found a few new favorites. We’d for sure come back just because of him.“

“Food was excellent. Every dish we tried was great. Service was spot on, attentive but not overbearing. Also, cudos to them, I spilled my first cocktail which landed in one of our appetizers and they replaced both, no charge! Awesome. Only small complaint...although my manhattan was delicious, the size was slightly larger than a shot glass. For $17 I'd like a bit more. I get it, it's the world we live in but just be ready for that. I would have given 4.5 stars if it were an option! Will go back for sure.“

“My family stumbled onto Mandola’s ItalianKitchen in Odessa Florida. What a delightful restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. We were greeted at the door by the manager, Chris. He explained how the restaurant ordering and seating worked. We ordered at the counter, where the young woman patiently took our order, clarifying along the way. The wine selection for the casual environment was impressive. We were given a table number and we found a seat. Immediately someone brought warm focaccia bread and Italian oil to dip it in. Our food arrived at our table surprisingly quick. The portions were huge (luckily we were provided to-go boxes when we were ready to leave) The servers were friendly and professional. The chefs were visible as they prepared the food. Our used dishes were removed promptly as we finished one course after another. Then Chris, the manager who first greeted us, came to our table to ensure that our experience had been not just satisfactory, but excellent. Which it was! We are putting Mandola’s Odessa on our favorite restaurant list for when we return to Tampa. Thank you!“

“De nada is amazing!!!!! If you are looking for a Mexican place look no further and come to de nada. The queso, the salsa trio, and the Barbacoa taco… I would sell my first born for the barbacoa taco. The margs are very fresh and strong. Our server Jorge is the best server in the game. I would 10/10 recommend this fine establishment!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at III Forks in Austin, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was meticulously crafted and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delightful journey of taste, showcasing creativity and a deep passion for culinary excellence. What truly set III Forks apart, however, was the service. Our waiters not only exuded warmth and genuine hospitality but also possessed an extraordinarily impressive background knowledge of every item on the menu. Their detailed explanations and insightful recommendations made the dining experience even more enjoyable, as we felt truly connected to the story behind each dish. In an era where great service and exceptional cuisine are hard to come by, III Forks excels on every level. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Austin, this restaurant is a must-visit destination. The combination of delectable food and unparalleled service creates an ambiance that’s both inviting and sophisticated—a true testament to the culinary artistry of III Forks.“

“I’m someone who loves pizza and a salad. Unfortunately, I cant just pop in by myself to get that little combo bc they only have pricey gigantic salads. Would be great if there was a half size for like $8-10. Then I might come back to grab that and a slice.
Also, last visit I went with my partner and had weird service. Idk if I was gaslit lol. I ordered a salad and sub for myself. My partner ordered two slices of pizza.
My salad and sub came out. Waited literally 30m for the two slices of pizza. So my partner pretty much watched me eat for half an hour. When I inquired about the pizza slices for my partner, the server said “yeah the chefs do that intentionally so you can enjoy the salad and sandwich first”. Who splits a sandwich before sharing a slice of pizza? Clearly they were running way behind and just acknowledgement (maybe an apology) would have been enough. Instead I was annoyed and felt crazy.
Regarding the meatball sub - the bread was super hard like cut the top of your mouth hard. Meatball was super tender but lacked ?herbs.“

“Went to Holiday for their Sunday half-off martinis and ordered a dry martini. For the price point, the value was definitely there—it packed a solid punch, which is exactly what I want from a gin martini. It wasn’t quite as ice-cold as I prefer, and the bar nuts were overly sweet. Didn’t get a chance to try the entrees, but it’s a chill spot for martinis overall. One heads-up: their Toast machines calculate tip based on the original full price, not the discounted happy hour price—learned that the hard way.“

“I actually love Community Garden! Very solid coffee and it has a real dedication to putting on a variety of events throughout the week. I particularly enjoy their DJ and listening session nights. Plus they have a doodling night that I have been dying to go to. Plus the space is so gorgeous that it makes me want to hang there
They manage to make very solid acai bowls alongside solid snacking foods, which I just find very impressive.
And while I would love to study there at night with a laptop, it's been a nice experience to try and unplug instead. Give it a shot!“

“Our family recently had an excellent experience with Blurred Wines who hosted an at-home wine tasting event for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Malon works with you to personalize the event. Ours was an entry level introduction to wine: how to drink a glass of wine, how to pick out a wine that you would like, how to match wine with various foods, etc. Malon added special surprises that made the event even better. An added bonus was that the wines were so good, that my husband and I joined their quarterly wine club.“
