“Great date spot. Feels high end but comfortable all at the same time. Small, cute, funky space.Gooey cheese, chewy and crunchy crust, solid sauce. What’s not to enjoy? The service was the best part. They were amazing to me and my exhausted kids when we ended up there mistakenly thinking they had a type of pasta my kid wanted. They didn’t. But. They were amazing to us.They took excellent care of us.Take someone you care for here when you want to feel “comfortable and high end” at the same time.Vegetarian options: Pizza with no meat is vegetarian so lots of options there.Dietary restrictions: It really is what it is. Even non- pizza has high probability of cross contamination.Parking: There is paid street and a paid lot. Both fill up. So does the tiny restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They were awesome to my kids even though this not really a spot designed for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not seem super easy for someone in a wheelchair to navigate, but it can be done.“

Nomadic Beerworks Brewery • $
3804 Woodbury Dr Suite A, Austin

“Nestled in the heart of Austin's bustling craft beer scene, Nomadic Beerworks stands out as a beacon of creativity and quality. Boasting a beer list that reads like a love letter, albeit a short one, to beer enthusiasts everywhere, Nomadic offers something for every palate, from the puckering tartness of sours to the deep, rich complexities of Belgian quads. Each brew is a testament to the skill and passion of the brewers, showcasing a commitment to excellence that sets Nomadic apart from the crowd. But it's not just about the beer at Nomadic Beerworks – it's about the experience. Stepping into this brewery is like entering a hoppy wonderland, where the air is filled with the tantalizing aromas of malt and yeast. And while the outside seating, which overlooks the parking lot and the sketchy activities at the U-Haul lot across the street, may lack the trendy ambiance of some of its counterparts, the real magic happens inside, where the true spirit of craft beer culture thrives. In a world where breweries often cater to the masses, bad parents and their untethered hordes of ill behaved offspring, Nomadic Beerworks dares to be different and focus on the beer… and the adults who drink it. With its exceptional beer selection, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to quality, it's a shining example of what craft beer should be. Cheers to Nomadic Beerworks – may your taps never run dry!“

“I recently spent 5 days on a girls trip to Austin, a city I had previously only visited once, like 7 years ago. Since that trip, I have viewed Texas with a nearly singular goal of revolution--uh, I mean, trying Texas-style kolaches. So imagine my glee when a kolache and beer establishment presented itself as an option?! We tried to go one afternoon, but kolaches were in seriously limited supply, so we returned the next morning. I had a little bit of the ol' vacation gut, and it was relatively early, so I didn't partake of any beer, but their selection, which featured a variety of Czech style beers, looked really good. If I go back, will definitely try one or three of them. What I did have and enjoy, however, was a delightful oat milk latte as well as some kolaches. Got a veggie sausage & gouda, four cheese (which was split), and a strawberry & cheese, which most resembles the kolaches you find in the Czech Republic. My companions got a jalapeño cheese and a couple of meat options, which I did not try. But lemme tell you: that shit was good! Airy yet indulgent, substantial but not overwhelmingly so. Very good. Service was prompt and friendly, the spot is very cute, and they have great souvenirs to take home and prove to your friends that you had what is, perhaps, one of the best kolache experiences in Texas*. (* As previously stated, I have been to Texas exactly two times, both trips to Austin, so the veracity of this last statement should be taken with a significant chunk of salt.)“

Located at the start of Rainey Street, the place is tiny, cozy and has really amazing decor and loud color that I love. Did not get to try any of the cocktails since I was there for lunch. Looks like they have a list of mocktails as well. I was very happy with everything that my group ordered but I was most impressed with the cauliflower, which did not make it to photos because that's how good it was. Ask for extra Green goddess dressing on the side and you will not be disappointed. I'm eager to go back and try two other dishes that I was considering today, as well as getting more of the cauliflower. This is certainly a place I will be frequenting when I am downtown. “We were almost too full and tired to come here, but I am so grateful that we did. The service was great - they even charged my phone for me! They have a tasting menu where you get four full pours and then you get to keep the glass for almost the same price as a 4 beer flight so you better believe we did it. We started with the Imperial stout with orange and chocolate and that was our favorite, so much so that we got a 4 pack of it to fly back home with us. The cranberry one was fine, but nothing special. Our final two pours included the Earl Gray tea one which tasted so much of Earl Gray, that I had to also get that one and cans to go. The final one was the pomegranate sour, which my boyfriend enjoyed thoroughly. Unfortunately, there was a bike bar crawl, so the place was packed when we got there, but we were eventually able to find a place to sit outside, and their adorable decorated patio. Even the bathrooms were cute. I would spend a lot of time here if I was a local.“
