About The Little Longhorn Saloon

The Little Longhorn Saloon is a lively and fun establishment in Austin, known for its great bands, vibrant atmosphere, and unique events like Sunday chicken poop bingo. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of reasonably priced drinks, including beer, wine, ciders, and seltzers, while experiencing the fast and efficient service. The saloon offers ample parking options, though the main lot can fill up, with extra space across the street.

The dimly lit, narrow interior adds to its local charm, and the mixed crowd enjoys live music, dancing, and quirky events like chicken shit bingo. Tuesday nights feature line dancing lessons, making it a great midweek stop. The venue has been open for many years and retains a classic dive bar feel, with a welcoming owner who walks around talking to guests. Cold long necks are common, and the vibe often feels like Austin in the 70s, where strangers buy each other beers just for fun.

Many visitors find the place perfect for a fun night of music and dancing, especially if they are in town for a quick fix or want to experience the authentic Austin spirit. The atmosphere is great and lively, with a sense of community that keeps people coming back for memorable experiences.

Great spot, gret band, great people watching so if you have...read full review
