“Very cool neighborhood bar. It seems like a “dive” bar from outside, but it’s a very classy and well-kept bar. The music they had on was so relaxing and chill. We really appreciated the ambiance and ability to comfortably visit with the bar tender. He was very personable and made great drinks. The happy hour goes til 7:00, which is hard to find in Austin. We don’t live on the east side, but will definitely be back.“

“Fell in love with this place. A group of girlfriends and I were just stopping in for a quick shot but it ended being the funnest part of our whole night! We ended up staying for a couple hours singing along to every song this tall cute cowboy of a bartender played for us. We would request songs and he’d play anything we wanted to hear and it turned into a big party. No place ever does that! Unexpected hugging, singing, drinking, dancing, laugh fest. “White Tiger Bar on South Congress is such a cool little spot. When you first walk in, it definitely has a bit of a dive-bar feel—but in the best possible way. Casual, unpretentious, and full of character.

The service was great, the drinks were good, but the patio is what really makes this place. It’s small, super cool, and has that perfect laid-back Austin atmosphere. Add in live music, and it’s exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble across while hanging out on South Congress.

“Twin Creeks is an old-school roadside dive bar just off FM 2469 in North Austin. Opening hours are around 3pm to midnight each night. They have an indoor bar and outdoor seating next to a small creek with clear water and small fish. There is an indoor and outdoor stage and pool table as well. Bartender was very friendly when we popped in for a round of beers. Interesting mix of patrons came in during the afternoon hour we were there, most wanting to enjoy the great mid spring time weather outside. Just seemed like a really good, local watering hole in North Austin, a place I'd be glad to visit regularly if we lived in the area.“

“I got some takeout around 10:50 pm so it was drinking hours. I don’t drink at the moment but it seems like a chill bar. I walked up to the chefs window in the back and let him know I had a pick up and he kindly let me know it would be a few more minutes. I came back a few minutes later and he was waiting on me. Seemed like a cool dude and I appreciate the attentiveness. Now the best part, I got sesame chicken thinking it was going to be your typical Chinese take out. Nah this was top tier. I don’t think I’ve ever had sesame chicken that was actually crispy before! I loved it. I will be back 100 percent“

“Came in for the first time the other day for a nice cold beer with some family members in town. It’s what we expected based on its location and outside look - a neighborhood dive bar.

Bar staff were friendly and actually smiled, which can be rare for places like this.

Lots of games including pool, ping pong, Jenga, foosball and probably others.There's a bar but also tables to kinda hang out in, and a juke box that you can choose all kinds of music from. I was really happy with the tunes they picked out - an eclectic mix that was nice for all people in our party (all ages).They also had a nice selection of taps of beer and normal well drinks from the bar. I was from out of town and just looking for a cool place to hang and have a few drinks. This place executed that perfectly. Would definitely recommend. :)“

The two ladies Fay and Liz were amazing attentive bartenders with bubbly personalities that will keep you wanting to come here!“
