Hole in the wall is a decent campus area bar.They often have a cover, which is fine and they frequently have good bands. But sometimes they have not so good bands with a high cover. I don't mind 5 or 10 bucks for some good local music. But if I pay 10 to 20 and the music kind of sucks and I just want to be away from it and talk to friends, the cover is too high. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Austin. Good beers and live music, can't complain!We went to the Guadalupe Pickers and Drinkers Guild session where local musicians get a chance to try out some new songs or tweak some old ones.Really friendly bar and locals. Looking forward to popping in again when I'm next in Austin.
