“Best Damn burger on 6th Street!!!! Love their selection. You can even swap out burger for chicken to change it up a bit. They occasionally have off menu items at the order stations. Get the Chicken Skewers!!! Tasted like it was marinated in yellow curry and grilled, then drizzled with teriyaki! It was amazing! Be open to telling you off! That's how you know you've got the best burgers in town! They don't have to be nice to you, you'll keep coming back for the ¾ lbs burgers and thick cut fries!Forget Hop Doddy, Mighty Fine or whatever burgers you like. This is the best!!!Open a tab. It'll be faster. They don't have Apple Pay or anything fancy like that. Give em cash or card.“
“Everything about this place is incredible. Starting with the food. And their extensive collection of interesting and homemade sauces. What a great place to meet some friends, especially if you're new to the area. Did I mention they also have dedicated motorcycle parking? If you're an idiot and try to park in the parking lot with an RV, I would suggest not going down the steep ramp if you don't want to scrape up the bottom. 10 out of 10. Great music. Cool vibes.“
“Welcome to my new chicken fried steak spot because it, as the kids say, "Slaps." The crust was crunchy, and the steak was tender and delicious. The gravy, mashed potatoes, and bacon braised collard greens were all seasoned just right. Overall, it was a great, well-rounded meal. Also, perfect serving size, no crumbs left. I left satisfied and not at all weighed down or overly full. The house margarita is on the small side but tasty. Everything on the menu seems worth trying after this 1st experience. Lastly, I was alone, so I sat at the bar. It's not really a big open space, so the ambient noise level seemed loud to me, so I popped on my noise-canceling headphones on and ate whilst listening to my old lady music (90's hip-hop).Parking: FYI, parking in the back lot is tight. The telephone pole(?) behind the building and in between parking spots almost took out my side mirror when I backed out of the space.“
“This is a really nice place! They have a big outdoor area to hang out in, but you can also stay inside if you want. They offer lots of different drinks, so you can easily find something you like. There's also a food truck where you can order some tasty food, which is super convenient. What I really liked was the pickleball courts outside. You can play a game or just watch others play while enjoying a cold drink. It's a fun way to spend time there. I definitely recommend checking it out!“
“I recently moved into the area a few months ago and found this place not to far from my house. They do trivia every Thursday and it has become our households biweekly activity. I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere and how delicious all of their food is. The view tex martini is my number one order and well worth the price. I am looking forward to their new menu coming out in a few days and hope they don't get rid of the viet tex martini.“
“We stopped by tonight and had dinner and beverages. I believe I can describe what we experienced as an "Outstanding" example of what makes having dinner out worth it. All of the staff was both amazing. All of them made the experience one i will not forget and will use to gauge my next meals out. Both of our bartenders/servers are assets that should be commended for the way they treat their clients. I am horrible at remembering names, but the Lady and Gentelman were first class. As for the meal, scratch cooking here makes it easy to place on the short list of amazing food I have experienced lately going out lately. Everyone loved their meal. For the first time in a very long time, I receivèd a burger exactly like I ordered and expected except ot exceeded my expeçtations and was honeslty one of the best I have had in a very long time. I made sure the Back of the House knew I truly appreciated their talent. The Lady bussing tables even showed how committed everyone in this establishment is to ensuring you have the best experience possible.Thank you so much,Chris“
“Daily go to spot for the best food and literally anything else you need in such a small space. I don’t know how they do it but the food is immaculate and consistent. I personally know most the staff and it’s definitely a family like atmosphere here.Vegetarian options: Lots of emParking: Always just the right amount of open spotsWheelchair accessibility: Yup it’s there“
“Typical dive bar but with better lighting. Had a burger and it was about what I expected. Nice charbroiled flavor but with ingredients commensurate with the insanely good price. You dress your own however you want, which is nice and they have my favorite brand of Sriracha. If I were to nitpick, I'd rather have a 1/3 burger with better beef. The flame grill is awesome and I feel like it's being wasted by the typical backyard grill frozen patty which inevitably comes out dry.Definitely a cool place and I'll be back to have drinks and try more of the insanely affordable menu.“
“The wings here are definitely top notch! I got three different wings with 3 different sauces and they were all incredible. With a few different games going on, it was definitely a little too loud for me personally, but the quality of those wings really just carried the whole experience. Will be back for more.“
“I don’t have enough great things to say about this place. The weekend happy hour has half price wine bottles and $10 pizza. We ordered the Linc Cheesesteak and it tastes just like a Philly original. The sweet and spicy pizza was a star! I’m so grateful for our experience. Thank you BG for the service!“
“Wow! Brick's Pub is a real hidden gem. The food was delicious and the service was great. Prices are very reasonable and the vibe is kinda upscale, but Bribk's is cozy and inviting at the same time. There is a big outdoor covered patio and kids are always welcome.“
“Dropped in for a few drinks. Strike against me, this was on an early Monday night. Drinks were cheap, at least compared to what I pay in LA. A group member got a whiskey sour and we were amazed at the heavy pour. The Dark and Stormy was nice and pretty, but I was enthralled by the Charlie Foxtrot. My pics don't do it justice with the burning cinnamon stick fizzling out. Wifey had a painkiller that was good, just a bit too much cinnamon on top. Still, the service was good and the bartenders were doing their best as they seemed to be short on staff. As the night wore on people crawling in and the DJ started up. I'm a bit too old for that scene, so it was time to head out.“
“You walk in and order from the bar and choose to leave the tab open or close out. It's self seating and they will give you a number and bring your ordered items out to you.I ate the deviled eggs and the gumbo. The deviled eggs were so creamy and delicious I only would of added more hot sauce for July liking but they were good. The gumbo was warm and flavorful, it had a lot of green chilies in so it was a little spicy.“
“Great place to drink and eat that is reminiscent of what Rainey Street used to be.Service was great and food was good but we had a lot of flies in bees in our area all evening. Not sure if that’s typical or not.Regardless, I will be a returning customer!“
“Awesome drinks and food and overall vibe. Service was attentive and speedy. I love the neighborhood. The avocado margargarita thing is as good as hyped. Portions are large. My wife is half Honduran and having spent years there really appreciates some authenticity and reall enjoyed her sopa. We'll be back for sure. A few spaces out front sonot much parking, but easy enough to park on street and the neighborhood is nice to walk in... 5 stars.Parking: A few spaces out front sonot much parking, but easy enough to park on street and the neighborhood is nice to walk in.“
“This is the greatest place you’ll ever go!!!! The Cedar Door Austin invented the Mexican ?!!! It’s been in at least 3 locations and each one is better than the last!!!! You absolutely have to go at least once!!!! The absolute best ever‼️????“
“Never had a bad time at The Water Tank. It's an atmosphere that I wish a local bar to me had, and I would be a regular if I lived closer. My buddy and I we just enjoy bellying up to the bar, finding a seat, shoot the $#it, and relax with a drink or cold beer. You have an awesome vibe. Fun relaxing time.“
“The Larry’s Bowl might be $15 + tip, but it is a delicious vegetarian dish… even without any protein. And a great portion for the price. Team Larry! My husband has loved their Philly Cheesesteak and burgers. Look forward to trying some of the succulent chicken options.“
“I couldn’t say anything about the food because I wasn’t there long. I kinda stopped in just to shoot some darts while I was waiting for my food to be picked up somewhere else. But the atmosphere was awesome had nice amount of dartboards and had digital screens to keep your own score. And they were the real dartboards not plastic stuff. Which I really like. And you could also smoke inside if you’re a smoker. So that was a plus for me. They have poker tables dominoes darts free Pool couldn’t really ask for a better bar for me. I will definitely be returning soon to stay a little longer and get to enjoy what they have to offer.“
“Did not get a chance to eat here, but the atmosphere and the live band and the great service from both bartenders was pretty outstanding. Only reason I gave a four star instead of five was the limited selection of beer on tap. They did however have one of my fave beers in a bottle which was a bonus. Overall, if you're in the Northeast Austin area or cedar Park this is definitely a fun place to hang.“
“This bar is amazing. The atmosphere during Lion’s games is unmatched in the entire state of Texas. The food is amazing, tons of seating, the staff are friendly and expedient. Thise who would utter a bad word about haymaker are fundamentally dishonest, and in my opinion deserve prison time. Great beers on tap and pitchers and buckets are reasonably priced. Go Lions.“
“Crenshaw's is the best! Located in the Omni Barton Hotel, super delicious food. Our Server Brian was awesome and super funny. The food not only looks amazing it tastes even better! Try them out for Yourself if you're in the Austin area. You won't be disappointed.“
“Only been a couple times but I you're a barfood junkie. Then this is your place. Yes they serve non bar food too but why waste your time to go to a restaurant that specializes in delicious greasy appetizing foods, but what's the point of going to a restaurant that specializes in greasy deliciousness, and ordering the Mediterranean salmon salad, which by the way I can guarantee you is not a real thing at least not on their menu cuz I just made it up but I do know they have healthier alternatives. As far as atmosphere I would give it a 3 just because it's always full families or older families which is a good thing for people like myself who are chill. Just probably not the best atmosphere for drunk college kids looking for a place to grind hard on some great burgers as you get drunker and drunker and start yelling at the referees on TV. Cuz like I said that kind of behavior will get you booted quick I would imagine. This is a family-oriented bar style restaurant in a nice neighborhood that families with children attend. That's what it was intended for and that's what it is. This is not Hooters or Twin Peaks, or even good old Shoal Creek Saloon who in my opinion does have the best bar food in Austin. But it's literally right next door to DKR and it can get pretty tough there.Kid-friendliness: What's there to tell? It's a friendly enough atmosphere to brink your kids to and not have to worry about them getting hurt, Lost, or worse . It's in a residential neighborhood so if that tells you anything right there then hint hint, you can take your kids there and feel perfectly safeWheelchair accessibility: It's in a freaking strip mall there's probably a hundred wheelchair ramps to get to this restaurant“
“Not gonna knock the place because of a bad apple on the jukebox. But man he left real quick after I called him out. The staff took up for him because he was paying and playing with credits he didn’t pay for. Shame on them even though I explained what happened and the eye in the sky caught it all about 23:00. I hate Touchtunes thieves. This is my job to weed them out. You don’t do that by being sober. I bet he never comes back again. If he does, I’ll be waiting. Shame on the staff for covering for this scumbag.“
“Not bad for a hotel restaurant. However the service was too slow. We (group of 7) came around 7:30pm and waited more than a half an hour for hamburgers. There were not many people, most of them at the bar. We also ordered some flatbreads that arrived 20 minutes after we finished eating the main course. So our only complaint is the speed of the service.“
“So for a Holiday Inn, this place is far more charming than it needs to be. The food is bar food, but done very well and the service is exceptional. They have several wonderful people who work here, but we had the pleasure of being served by Cella, who unexpectedly turned out to be from Davenport - same place my husband was born! This is crazy rare in Austin. We wish her the best with her music.“
“Baker St. Pub had a great band on St. Patty's day, green beer, and plenty of Guinness to go around. Table wait service was good considering how busy they were. Also tried the Shepherds pie balls, which were pretty tasty.A good time for all and fun!“
“Came in to throw some darts. Very nice 2 dart board set up with chalkboard score keeping. Did not eat this time but enjoyed a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Met the bartenders on an UBER drive a month ago. Looking forward to my next visit. Will be posting to tiktok soon.“
“My friend's nachos took forever despite being second ordered and it wasn't even correct. But still a good deal and a great hangout time.Wheelchair accessibility: The place is pretty wide open on the outside. I'm not sure about the bathroom, but you can definitely fit a wheelchair to eat or drink.“
“Everyone recommended this spot. Drinks were fantastic. Food came out cold, but the bartender fixed it right away. The sweet potato tots had a great seasoning, and so did the fried green tomatoes . Parking was a little difficult. It's a really cool vibe.“
