The bartenders provided great service and were really nice. And the karaoke was the jam! There were tons of really good singers, and everyone was totally invested in the songs. We all cheered and clapped for every singer, which made for a really fun atmosphere.

This place has a great vibe and was a lot of fun. I also noticed they serve food here, so I might have to try that next time!“

“This local pub is in our neighborhood. We went for lunch on my husband's birthday with my in laws and our server Kaitlin was the best! She was patient and informative with my in laws who usually have a lot of menu questions, and the food was excellent and large portions for the price. My husband even got a piece of cheesecake to celebrate! They have live music a few nights a week, and you can rent their very cooly decorated room or tables in the room. Lydia who manages events was very also helpful when I inquired. Great local business, check them out!“

“La Tuna Icehouse, which is located on Probandt Street in San Antonio, Texas, is an iconic spot for a drink + a bite in Southtown!! :-) This place has such a fun, laid back atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours relaxing with friends. The outdoor patio is spacious, full of character, and one of the best spots to enjoy a beautiful San Antonio evening!!

Each time I have visited, the staff have been incredibly friendly + welcoming, and the drinks have been fantastic. I absolutely LOVE their seasonal Prickly Pear Margarita. It comes in the cutest little mason jar glass (as pictured), and it's fresh & delicious!! I'm really looking forward to trying some of their food items in the future.

The overall vibe at La Tuna is exactly what you would hope for from a neighborhood icehouse. Whether you're meeting up with friends, watching a San Antonio Spurs game, or just looking for a great place to unwind, La Tuna is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!!!“

“Been here 3 times in a weeks time, love that it's never full of drunken people acting ridiculous, music isn't blaring, pool tables are always open, so are the darts, they have a bunch of games and that quarter drop machine, my favorite! “This is a great place nobody has ever heard of!!! I suppose it's neighborhood specific. Went for a high school band reunion. An alum plays with The Klocks and they were the band that night. So, live music, good food, highly recommend the Blue Hawaiian cocktail.“

“Surprised this place has not been reviewed much before. All the food has been delicious and service has been wonderful during our stay. Enjoyed brunch as a family and our kids loved it! Especially the cereal options which they enjoyed mixing together. Amelia greeted us and explained our options. She greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal. You can choose a full buffet, cooked to order options or two breakfast tacos. My family had the buffet which includes beverages of your choice, a variety of pasties, warm breakfast options and cook to order omelets. I opted for the breakfast tacos and they are some of the best I’ve ever had. Filling and flavorful. Eggs were fluffy, papas were cooked perfectly, bacon had the right amount of crisp and tortillas were fresh.

Ordered off the main menu last night for dinner and also were very pleasantly surprised with all of our meals. Pizza was HUGE! Right amount of cheese, tasty sauce and good crust. Even cold it was still good! Chicken tenders were meaty and the ranch dipping sauce tasted homemade. The grilled chicken sandwiches were delicious! Juicy with fresh ingredients, crispy fries and the side of fruit was exceptionally large.

All the bartenders were great too! Drinks were tasty and they weee happy to accomodate any drink requests we had.

Overall we had a great time at the Hilton Garden Inn. The rooms were clean, staff were all friendly, food was delicious, drinks were flavorful and the location was great. Close to the River Walk and plenty to do within walking distance.“

“THE PLACE TO BE ! I’m a single mom who never gets out much. When I do though, it’s at the pub!! The BEST EFFING TIME. Th owner Tucker is so welcoming and creates a fun, safe,clean environment. “I pull up and there's plenty of parking. At first I could not find the front door 🚪 lol. But I eventually found it. It was my first time there I walk in and I'm greeted and was told I could order on the left side of the bar. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with french fries. My friend ordered a grilled chicken with mushrooms and we got a four-piece egg roll appetizer And two big red's sodas. My bill was $45. I was told I could sit anywhere and they would bring me my food as soon as it was ready. It was nice inside but I decided to sit outside and get some fresh air this evening. 10 minutes later my 4-Piece egg roll appetizer comes out with sweet and sour sauce. It was fresh and delicious. 10 more minutes go buy and my entree comes out nice, fresh And hot. Me and my friend Anna enjoyed are evening and dinner at SouthTown 101. I would recommend SouthTown 101 to anybody who has an open mind because you will see things you usually don't see at other places like men kissing each other and etcetera. If you're not used to that environment this is not the place for you. Very friendly staff.“

“Stayed here as a local cause we were having work done to our house. Samantha was so great and friendly. We had dinner at the grill. All 3 of ours Kids ate free and they loved their food. She was so accommodating to our kids took their order and brought their food out 1st while mom and dad had some great margaritas on the rocks! They have great happy hour specials. We ordered fried pickles and they were delicious. We ordered chicken tenders and the burger and it was so good! We came back again as locals just because Samantha was so great and we loved our food and prices. Def will be coming back.“
