The Yard @ 1224 is a bar and restaurant with a very nice, welcoming, and chill atmosphere. The space is very clean and has an awesome, very spacious outdoor patio where leashed dogs are allowed. The atmosphere is what sets this place apart. The food is pretty dang good and delicious; the burgers are juicy, the wings flavor is to die for, and the presentation is good. They have a small menu with really good lunch specials. Their burger deal on Tuesdays can't be beat. The drinks are reasonably priced, with really good refreshing drinks like the fall time sangria, a marg, and yard lemonade that actually taste like something. It's definitely somewhere to go closer to the evening for the vibe, and during the warmer months they do live music and other events. Service is always good.
