When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! There's skeeball, steel tip darts, that hoops game, pinball, pool/billiards, and some (horrible) cornhole boards and giant Connect 4 in their shared courtyard.
The games and darts do all kinda sit right in the natural flow of foot traffic though, and/or are smushed into too-small of an area - I wish they had more elbow room.

We didn't get a chance to try Idle's beers (shock!! Lol. We'll be back for that ??) but the cocktails we tried - Halloween special butterbeer (rootbeer + vodka + butterscotch sauce) and a frozen boozed-up cherry Coke - were very sweet, but very delish.“

“First time coming here and had a wonderful experience! Our waitress Claire was so nice and attentive .. she was a sweetheart. The drinks were spot on and delicious! The atmosphere was great. Food was good for fried bar food not greasy like some we have tried. Music was all genras ..all was missing was tejano songs lol..hint hint.. it was clean and no smoking which was a plus for us. “Attentive, accommodating and fun staff. Great drink specials daily and monthly. There are plenty of things to do, like play on 4 tournament size shuffleboard tables, darts, pool and video golf. There is also a nice patio you can take your drinks out on and watch sports. The patrons are very friendly and welcoming as well.“

Later, she came to us and offered to make a fish sandwich and fries for us, which we thought was very kind. It looks like a fun place to come for an evening. “The Bend is a super chill bar to go to at anytime of the day. Always very friendly bartenders. Smoking is restricted to the outside, but part of the bar is hybrid (inside/outside). The smokers love to sit there and of course all the smoke blows inside. So, it seems like you can smoke indoors, because you're hit with the smell of smoke immediately when you enter the bar. It's not so bad when the other hybrid doors are open. Karaoke with Toby on Tuesdays and Thursdays is awesome as well!“

“I haven't been to Applebee's in years and this is the first time since living in TX I even saw one. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday during a swim meet. It was great! Promptly greeted and seated by John. Our server, Sydney quickly got us drinks and was patient while we looked at the menu. Even when I was between two choices she told me the one I picked is delicious. I like that she was friendly, quick/efficient, and patient. We wanted something to make everyone happy, without getting stuck in traffic to get back and this was a good spot for a great price.
We had the pretzels with cheese, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, grilled chicken and the bourbon chicken.
Tried so save room for dessert, but maybe next time.“
