The 04 Lounge is a vibrant neighborhood dive bar that offers a complete vibe. With a jukebox, pool tables, and quirky folks, it's a place to chill out and enjoy good drinks. The bartenders are known for their friendly service, often surprising customers with a shot of Malort. The bar has a decent selection of bourbons and beers, as well as tasty Jell-O shots. Customers can also enjoy homemade Super Bowl snacks to share.
Recently, visitors have praised the great service and helpful staff, noting that the food is good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is considered phenomenal, making it appealing even to those who usually avoid large crowds. Many enjoy the scraggly regulars and the pool tables, adding to the dive bar’s charm. The 04 Lounge is seen as a family-friendly environment, with a simple rule: don’t be a dick. It's a gem in South Austin, with the added fun of a food truck, Tommy Want Wiggy.
