Originally went there for fries. There is no kitchen tho and the good truck seemed vastly over priced.What they lacked in food they made up for in an abundance in apirit knowledge and cocktail expertise.
We only popped in here for a moment, to have a quick shot to end our day. We had just left Lefty's Brick Bar and found a flea market thing as Zilker beer garden that drew us in. After that we headed here as it looked cool. It is a dive bar, just what it claims to be and is very laid back. There were some people playing pool and a few people at the bar. I've got no hate for the Grackle, but I'm not fond of the birds themselves, though the males do have pretty blue feathers.Decent bar with patio, several decent local draught beers.Not a bad spot, but for some reason I feel it lacks a bit of luster.
