“Food was incredible, we ordered Chicken kabab plate, chicken, Shawarma wrap, hummus, falafel plate, and Kinbeh. Amazing..... the flavor, and authentic taste is amazing. Don't miss this food truck. His recipes and customer service are a gold mine.“
“Always so tasty and fresh! They took my takeout order over the phone and it was ready a few mins later. They were so friendly and sweet when I came to pick up my food. Customer service here is always so great and the food is amazing. will be back!“
“I love this place. The food is always on point and the customer service is great. The staff make you feel so at home that I make an effort to get food here at least once a month. And we’re the type that don’t eat out often. But this place is healthy and delicious and the beef rice bowl just hits right. My son always finishes all his food from here…always!!“
“Very supportive staff, generous portions, fresh and delicious. We were a family of 3 with a toddler. Although the staff was all Hispanic (not Greek like the name suggested), the food was great. I've had Greek food in many cities, I can say this place is as good. Tzatziki sauce is garlic-y enough! Salad is very fresh. The server lady was also very nice to our family. Very reasonable prices (husband got a combo plate and I got a Greek pasta, each $15-$20). Would recommend for sure. We had a great time.Kid-friendliness: High chair available. Staff nice to toddler.“
“I have been here a few times now usually because it's across the street from my work and I didn't bring food. It has always been good, not great but not bad either. I've tried kabobs, gyro and kofta. The meats are good the portions are fair nothing special about it. The pita bread is not my favorite as it's always dry and feels stale. But otherwise it's a decent place for a meal.“
“WOW. This place is incredible. Officially my favorite restaurant in the entire city of Austin. The hummus is life changing. I bought a tub to keep in my fridge lol. Please do yourself a favor and try it. Can’t say enough good things here, and no I’m not affiliated in any way.“
“Mehn! The young guy that work there is respectful and professional! I usually don’t leave these but I pray for bigger things for this lil food truck. I’m the Caribbean guy that came in the black Honda with red rims lol. I appreciate how they don’t act stingy for the food! Most places charge more and give less!!! Yall food is amazing and comforting! Definitely have to come by next time to just leave a big tip!! Keep it up!“
“First visit! Yeah! The strong recommendations were on point! We tried a wrap and a plate. Both Yummy - the beef, lamb and chicken were so tasty. The saffron rice was tender and flavorful and the falafels were really good. The wrap was also really tasty and glad the fire sauce was left off. The wrapper vs traditional pita was great. Got a tiny piece of baklava which was also yummy and just enough to take off the tartness of the feta. We must give a big thumbs up to the staff person at the register. He is an employee that every owner wants. Very nice and helpful for two brand new foodies! Looking forward to going back and trying something else! Recommend!!“
“Generous portions of quality fare at reasonable prices. They made a smart choice putting Yonny up front. Professional, friendly, and you can tell... Just a genuinely all around good guy though it does seem like he should have 2.5M subscribers on a YouTube channel doing reviews for import autos, cell phones or exotic travel destinations. The wife and I decided we hope he pursues such a thing even though we will miss him at The Kebab Shop. Go eat here, tip generously and love life otherwise you'll disappoint your ancestors.... And that's not what you want to do now is it?“

“This was hands down one of the best places for lamb. Ever!!! No exaggerations. The lamb tastes like you are visiting relatives.I’m had the lamb my date had the chicken. And a small baklava and a Persian tea.Amazingly seasoned. Tender. I am pleasantly impressed.“
“The food is absolutely phenomenal. The service is incredible.Cheesesteak - 5/5Fries - 5/5Falafel - 5/5The entire menu is insanely delicious. The steak is fresh and cooked perfectly. The falafel is amazing. Crispy outside, soft tasty inside. The service is excellent. Super nice guy, making fresh, tasty food with passion and love.“
“This place is awesome! Only time Ive really liked falafel so they're doing something right. Guy working there also gave me a free falafel while waiting which is appreciated ?Edit: I wrote this before eating the chicken shawarma, and its1. Huge2. DeliciousIt's also a bit messy but it's the price you pay for good food.Falafel N' More is going to be seeing more of me :)“
“Beirut Food Truck impressed with its authentic Lebanese flavors and quick, friendly service. From the flavorful shawarma to the perfectly seasoned falafel and Shish-Tawook, each bite was a delight. Highly recommended for a quick and delicious taste of Lebanon on the go!“
“This is my favorite place to eat in and around Austin. The Pita Shack is my “go to” once or twice a week. The food is delicious and healthy. LOVE the kebab! The owners are extremely friendly. Very lovely place. I’m extremely happy I found this place.“
“Great Food, Awesome service with a smile and good site. These folks are awesome. The food is fresh and so delicious and so many difference options to choose from....be sure and ask for recommendations from the friendly folks that are running the truck....it is nice to experience service with a smile and attentiveness that is missing in so many restaurants and food service spots. Come enjoy the food, enjoy the site and the space.“
“Really delicious food. It was just perfect. Perfect amount of seasoning, perfect portion size and great presentation. I would highly recommend this place for take out.The building smells like mold as soon as you walk in which can be very off putting. I don’t see myself ever sitting down in the dining room due to the smell.“
“I had tried their catered food at a friend’s house and had really their chicken shawarma. This time when I visited the restaurant for takeout, I got the beef Shawarma and it was also as good. However, the humus, which is my litmus test, turned out to be dry, coarse and lacking required amount of Tahini. Hope to see their humus recipe switched to the traditional version.“
“I tried this gem of a place for the first time and they did not disappoint! Delicious fresh food, friendly service, clean facilities, and overall great experience! The food and the service is certainly the star of this place! I was immediately greeted with a smile, and offered suggestions on what tasty items to get. I ordered the BBQ grill plate with the chicken and lamb, along with some falafel, and baklava for dessert. Every single item was delicious. Just so flavorful and beautifully done. Definitely give this place a try- you will be glad that you did! Each item was authentic in flavor and texture, and presentation. I will be back to try other items soon!“
“The food has been spectacular!!!Spicy lamb meatball pita simply delicious, very good portions of both the bowl and the pita.I also had a Greek salad that was well served and had a very good flavor.Regular service. The place was a little dirty and run down.“
“My partner and I finally checked off a long-standing bucket list item by visiting this restaurant on a leisurely Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly, there was no wait, and we were promptly seated by a courteous server. Our server exuded professionalism, ensuring our orders were taken swiftly and our dishes arrived promptly.I opted for the Penne Alla Vodka, while my partner indulged in the Tuscan Butter Chicken. Let me just say, the moment our plates arrived, we were blown away. The presentation was impeccable, and the aroma alone was tantalizing. The portion sizes were generous, and each bite was a testament to the freshness of the ingredients. To complement our meal, we sampled some of their cocktail offerings, which did not disappoint - they were both delicious and expertly crafted. And of course, we couldn't resist trying the tiramisu for dessert, which was an absolute delight. What's even better is that the total bill for such an incredible dining experience was a mere $60-70, which we found to be quite reasonable given the quality of the food and service.I urge anyone reading this review to give this restaurant a try and support local establishments. Trust me, you won't regret it!“
“I’ve been wanting to eat here and it didn’t disappoint. The location is good; easy to get in and out. The chicken gyro and salad were fresh and delicious. There were several people dining on a Tuesday lunchtime but there were plenty of seating. My only other comment is that the restaurant was really cold. We didn’t realize there were outside tables which we could’ve sat on but they were on the other side of the entrance and we missed them. Being a sweater if you plan to eat here!“
“Delicious, lip smacking & fresh food!! It’s the best mediterranean buffet restaurant in Austin. My favorites include grilled succulent chicken, fattoush, baklava, rose drink & rice pudding. They have spoiled me with the choices in salads. They make fresh baklava!!! Always had a great dining and service experience even during 2020.“
“This is a great place to get beef gyros, beef/chicken shawrama, rice, freshly made falafel and pitas...they also make the pitas as they're ordered..so good! The seasoning could more intense, but that's my taste. Alone the food is delicious because of its freshness and quality ingredients. The one exception is the "white sauce"; a common issue with the Greek/Persian/Middle Eastern places in Austin generally. I order my food plain and add my own garlic, cucumber, dill tzatziki at home.Sorry, I couldn't hold back to take pics. Next time, I promise, it disappeared quickly it was so good! I highly recommend the place.I typically order out, but the place is nice; it's a regular deli setting. The staff are great. They're very friendly, nice guys! Just a tip, be prepared with your chosen translator app and set it for Turkish. It will help if you need to ask questions. Some of the guys are taking ESL classes but have to work a lot. The food is so good I'm not surprised....I had a couple convos with them while I was waiting for my food. Like I said, friendly, nice guys. And don't forget the baklava; it's pistachio and it's delicious ?Parking: Parking is available on both sides of the street. Shops compete for available parking, but I usually can find a couple open spots.“
“I just had the chicken shawarma over rice the food was excellent, prices are fair.I loved how fresh the tzaziki tasted.Chicken was fresh and juicy. The garlic sauce was so tasty. The best shawarma place in the austin area. Will be back soon for sure????“
“I have been a regular patron of the Kebab shop and I must say it has consistently exceeded my expectations. I can’t get enough of their amazing food! Seriously, everytime I swing by I’m blown away by how fresh everything is. Whether I’m digging into their grilled saffron chicken (which is my absolute favorite), saffron rice that’s bursting with flavor or their crispy French fries - it’s all to notch. If you decide to try, don’t forget to also get some of their pita bread and hummus - they are delicious and taste so darn fresh! The restaurant is always clean and their staff is very friendly & welcoming, making it a comfy place to chow down. If you’re into tasty fresh Mediterranean eats, without a doubt check out The Kebab Shop! ???“
“Cedar park CAVA is one of my favorite place to get healthy and delicious food. I always get Greek salad or pita. I disagree with comments where people complain about the portion size and prices. I work in a food industry, and I know that the quality of ingredients at CAVA is very high. They use high-quality veggies and meat. Overall, Mediterranean food is considered to be one of the healthiest, and CAVA makes it super delicious. So if someone is complaining about the prices they probably should go to a junk food restaurant and get something cheap.I give 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for the food and the service at Cedar Park CAVA because the restaurant is always clean, the staff is super nice and the food is very delicious.Parking: Sometimes the front might be busy but there is plenty of space on the other side of the restaurant. Never had issues with finding parkingKid-friendliness: I always see small kids enjoying food with their parents.“
“Loved the falafel! One of the best I have ever had!We got a Mediterranean mezze platter. (Not much left on the pic lol)And we also got pizza, interestingly for Mediterranean place they have a full blown pizza menu. And pizza was pretty good. I think we will be back.Prices are descent tooPlace is nice and clean, has an actual restaurant vibe.Service was good too.“
“I came around 8:30pm on a Friday night, and it wasn't too pack. Based on the menu picture, I ordered the kebab, and the guy told me that the meat was a mix of lamb and beef. I also ordered the tikka, and he told me that the meat is chicken. When I got the food, it didn't look like the picture in the menu. The tikka was delicious. It came as a plate full of chicken even under the tomato and rice. It had salad, hummus, and pita bread included. The hummus was smooth and had a more charred taste to it. The salad was sour and complimented the chicken. I would get it again since it could actually feed two people. The kebab looked more like a large empanada than what I was expecting. It was good too with juicy meat and tomato inside and cost $10. In my opinion, the tikka was more worth it and cost around $16. There are some tables to sit outside. I also wanted to try the okra, but it was sold out.“
“An underrated Mediterranean spot close to Parmer! The falafel was fantastic and one of the best I've had in Austin. Don't skip out on the tahini sauce either, it is also delicious!I do wish the atmosphere was a bit more inviting. I try not to have high expectations when dining in at food trucks—but I think keeping just the picnic tables with some nice umbrellas would be a welcome change from the current setup with a metal tent.Service was also great and they are very generous on the portion sizes as well. Overall, excited to go back and try more! Very glad to have this food truck close to where I work.P.S. Look at how neatly the falafel is arranged on the rice! :D“
“I found this place online and came in and placed a to go order. This restaurant would have received five stars, but the wait was ridiculously long, and I was the only customer for at least 10 minutes until someone else showed up to place another to go order. The steak was tender, and rice was fluffy and delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry. I was a huge fan of the Mirza Ghasemi, which was very flavorful.“
“Zaza's Chicken Jalapeno Wrap packs a punch! Spicy jals meets the juicy chicken, all wrapped in a perfectly toasted tortilla. Service at Zaza is as vibrant as they are friendly and quick. The casual, sunlit ambience makes it a fiesta for your taste buds and mood. Don't miss this gem for a flavorful, filling lunch! I would 100% recommend to try at this restaurant.“
“My visits to Tinos Greek are always an absolute pleasure, and it's no surprise that this place has become my go-to for Greek cuisine. The hummus here is a revelation – creamy, perfectly seasoned, and simply the best I've ever tasted. It's clear they use fresh, quality ingredients, and it shines through in every dish. The real mashed potatoes are a hearty and comforting side, reminiscent of traditional Greek home cooking. And the gyros? Simply fantastic. They are packed with flavor, with the meat cooked to tender perfection. The ambiance of Tinos Greek adds to the experience, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making each dining experience memorable. If you're craving authentic Greek flavors, Tinos Greek is the place to be. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine taste of Greece! ????“
“Tried The Great Greek tonight for the first time. Impressed at cleanliness of restaurant and how polite the owners were. Service was outstanding. You can tell how much they care and appreciate your business! We had a gyro combo and skewer combo. The steak was excellent and the side salad was very fresh & delish. Glad we discovered another option for fast Greek food. We will be back for sure“
“Kaylord and Vanessa are a total delight. I cameIn when they were about to close and they were superb. Excellent service and hospitality. First time in Cava and I have to say, amazing. Food is delicius. So fresh, just what I was craving. Thanks! “
“After coming here two times and going to the cedar park location I HIGHLY recommend this place and location! They are not only VERY friendly, but also the portions are SO good for what you’re paying. I’ve been to the Cedar Park location and they skimp out every time and their attitude is very rude and impatient. I will forever go to this location now due to our amazing experience including my grandmother experiencing both locations and this one has the best environment.“
“Wow! This place is the best!! Great taste and good customer service. Super generous portions on the chicken wrap. Lots of chicken, lettuce, tomato and cucumber! You get the best bang for your buck here, one wrap is like two whole meals! One of my favorite spots I will keep coming back for these reasons!“
“An absolute gem nestled in Round Rock, so lucky to have it close to our house. It's the best and most authentic Mediterranean food you can find in Austin! Everything is fresh, they make the pita and bread in-house from SCRATCH, and it's always served warm and freshly from the oven. The beef and lamb kebab is to die for, the lahmajun, the cheese pita and the hummus are my absolute favorite. They serve their food in nice dishes and finally there's a restaurant that knows how to serve hot authentic Arabic tea. The staff is always nice and welcoming, great atmosphere and the Middle Eastern decorations elevate the ambiance. Thank you Usta Kababgy for consistently delivering exceptional dining experiences.“
