Abu Omar is one of my favorite halal food spots in the Austin area. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The chicken shawarma is packed with flavor, and the spicy garlic sauce takes everything to the next level. Portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. It’s a consistently reliable and delicious spot, especially for late-night eats.

Great food truck. Seems hit or miss with when it’s open lately. I have been here twice now.
We ordered a rice bowl, chicken sandwhich and the arabi plate. They were all so so delicious. Service is so amazing. Super generous with everything, Definitely recommend!
